《Blackstone Inc. (Book 1)》Part 40

I felt a hand grasp my upper arm and pull me into an abandoned hallway and push me against the wall. His lips were on mine and his body was pressed into me.
I pulled my face away and saw Dominic's eyes full of lust before he spoke, "I'm sorry, Princess. I didn't mean what I said."
He kissed down my neck and then nipped my collar bone, "Forgive me?"
I put my hands on his shoulders and pushed with all of my might and he looked at me in confusion.
"Baby, I'm sorry. I said I didn't mean it and I didn't. I was just..."
"Jealous?" I finished for him.
I needed to keep a distance between us. He was toxic, but like the sun, I just wanted to be in his orbit. I wanted to revolve around him, but I would detach myself from him and find someone new.
"We can't do this anymore, Dominic," I whispered.
He shook his head and planted his hands on either side of my head and leaned forward, "You belong to me, Genevieve. Your body is wet for me, your heart beats for me, and your soul calls for me. You were made for me and you don't mean what you said."
I felt tears run down my cheeks. Who the fuck thought it would be okay for him to say this shit to me?
"She's pregnant, Dominic," I sobbed out and leaned my head against the wall.
His words were absolute truth, though.
I did belong to him, but I would rip up the invisible contract right here and now. This ends in this hallway, one way or another.
"Who's pregnant, Princess?" His thumbs swiped away the tears.
"Jasmine," I looked back at him and his face was set in shock.

He backed away and ran both hands over his head, "Pregnant? But I'm always so careful." His voice was low like he was only speaking to himself.
I had to break him even further if he would let me go for good.
"And she knows...about us. I'm sorry, Dominic, but we can't do this anymore."
He looked up at me, "No, Genevieve. I need you. I need you now more than ever," he made a move towards me, maybe to grab my hand or arm but I quickly took them from his reach.
He looked into my eyes, I could see his getting glassy, "Genevieve, please, baby, we can and will get through this."
He made another move, his hand reaching for my hip.
"Muffins."
He recoiled as if being burned. He stared at me in shock before murmuring, "You can't mean it, Princess. You can't, please take it back."
I shook my head and turned to walk back down the hallway, "I'm sorry, Dominic, but this is over. Go be with your family, Sir."

"Genevieve?" I turned to see Preston look at me with worry on his face.
"Preston," I acknowledged his presence and went back to my vodka tonic.
I was swearing off any and every Blackstone... At least, for the night.
"Are you okay? Did Dominic hurt you?"
I chuckled and looked back at him, "No, the opposite actually. I... We aren't..."
I sighed because I didn't want to give us away, but Preston already knew.
"Tell me what happened," he commanded lightly, taking the seat next to me.
"She's pregnant with his baby, Preston. He was going to... Well, he said he was... But now she's having his baby."
I chuckled again at the irony of the situation. He made sure to always bring me the morning-after pill on top of the birth control I was taking, and he managed to get Jasmine pregnant? He did say he wanted to have kids with someone he was at least in a relationship with.

"He's stupid for even keeping that whole charade up. You are far better than her, in every way, Kitten," his fingers came to rest on my neck, thumb brushing my cheekbone.
"Thank you, Preston, but I'm okay. You can go find a girl to bring home for the night. I'm not much fun right now," I tilted the glass back and let the rest of the contents slide down my throat. The burn of the alcohol was humbling, humanizing.
"There's no one here who even beings to compa—"
"--What is it with you Blackstones and not taking no for an answer?" I got the bartender's attention and gestured for another drink.
He smiled playfully, "We were raised to take what we thought we deserved and settle for nothing less. It's how almost all of us are successful business people."
I chuckled, "So, all of you are like Dominic and Katherine?"
"Oh, yes. No one can resist us," his eyes bore into mine, and he was right. They were irresistible.
"Tell me about the rest," I took a sip of my drink and waited for his answer.
He smiled, "Okay, well you know Dominic, obviously, and he's the oldest at 35. Then there's me at 32, Katherine at 30, Elijah at 27, and Nathaniel at 23."
Wow, "And they're all in business?"
"Most, yes. Dom, Kat, I are in business with Dom and I owning our businesses. Kat is an accountant at my company. Eli is a successful lawyer with his own firm and Nate is in college to become a lawyer as well."
"Jesus, must be some good genes."
He chuckled, "It's just that our father expected the absolute most from us. We weren't born into the lap of luxury and fed with gold spoons as some would believe. Our father made us work for what we wanted and that instilled in us a strong work ethic. That's why most of us are also dominants and we don't take no for an answer...reasonably."
I blushed, "Remind me to never go to a family function of yours."
His pupils widened and his mouth turned into a smirk before he leaned forward, "Why, Kitten? You afraid we'll each have our way with you?"
He intoxicated me more than my drink and it was hard to think with his warm breath fanning against my mouth. I turned my head and closed my eyes.
"I hear you like having more than one of us at a time. One behind you, one in front. Maybe filling all of your holes?"
I moaned at his vulgar words because if they all looked like him, then yes... Yes, that would fine with me.
"Preston," I whispered as I felt his hand rest against my thigh.
"Daddy," he breathed into my ear.
"Fuck," I whimpered, "You too?"
He chuckled lowly, "Me too, Kitten."
Shit, shit, shit.
