"I'll have a driver come to your place around eight. Can you be ready by then?" 

He had me pressed against the wall of the elevator, his lips brushing my own as he spoke in whispers.

"I can drive myself, Sir."

I pursed my lips against his and felt his hand cup my throat lightly, "What did Daddy say?"

"That he would have a driver pick me up," I nipped his bottom lip and clenched my fists into his suit jacket.

"Does Princess have anything to say to that?" 

He was teasing me, not fully pressing his lips to mine.

"No, Daddy. I'll be ready by 7:45. Now, kiss me, please, Sir," I begged.

He chuckled darkly and lightly kissed me, his other hand cupping my ass through my dress before letting go when we felt the elevator stop at a floor.

He quickly wiped his mouth on a handkerchief and moved away from me. While he was wiping his mouth, I cleaned up mine as well and ran my hands over the front of my body to calm myself.

"Dominic," Jasmine smiled flirtatiously at him when she got on, "I'm so excited for tonight!"

"Me, as well," he replied.

She turned to me, "And you'll be there, Gwen?"

"Learn her name, Jas. It's Genevieve, but if that's too hard for you to remember, sweetheart, you can call her Gen," Dominic's commanding voice came from behind her and she blushed at being chastised by him.

I smiled sweetly at her, "Yes, ma'am, I will be."

"Oh?" 

She raised an eyebrow, "You have a dress? You have a way there? You can't just drive and park yourself, you need a driver. You were able to afford both...on a PA's salary?"

It was another jab at me and even without Dominic's help I could get both myself but I was about fed up with her. 

"Actually, Jasmine, Dominic was kind enough to put the dress on his business card and he's getting a driver to come and pick me up."

'Bitch!′

I smirked, but Dominic's face hardened and his eyes cut to me with a glare.

"Well," she smiled, but it was a pained smile, "Isn't that nice?"

I smirked, not bothered that I would be in very big trouble when the night was over. 

"It is. He's, honestly, the best boss ever. So...take charge, you know? And so...dominant."

She had no idea why he suddenly had a coughing fit, but I did.

Wow, was my ass in for it tonight. It was worth it, though, to knock her down a few pegs in his eyes. I was tired of her acting like she was better than me, acting like my name was a hard one to remember, and acting like she had any real claim to Dominic besides the contract between her father and Dom.

Jasmine turned back to him and started patting him soothingly on the back as we reached the lobby. I had driven myself today so I didn't wait for Dominic as I made my way through the empty room.

"Dariah," I greeted as I passed her.

"Genevieve," she greeted back. 

We weren't so silently bitchy to each other now that I knew he was taken. It was an unspoken 'he is with her' and we came together in solidarity. We weren't friends, but we weren't enemies.

I had my hair in a curly up-do with my makeup look for tonight being a smoky gold lid with a dramatic winged liner and a burgundy lip. 

My dress was the last piece of the ensemble that I put on, so as not to get any makeup on it. I made sure to get a small gold clutch to go with the strappy gold stilettos I'd chosen, as well. 

And when I was all dolled up, I took a picture of myself in just my lace garter belt and thong while wearing my heels in my body mirror. I turned my body so all you could see was my back and ass as I couldn't wear a bra with the deep plunging dress and I wanted to tease just a bit.

*Sir?* I texted Dominic.

Good, he was alone or Jasmine wasn't reading his messages.

I bit my lip as I waited for his answer.

I sent him the picture with a kissy face emoji and waited for him to reply.

I chuckled and replied with something I knew he'd like.

He replied immediately.

I grabbed my clutch and keys and headed out the door, locking it first before making my way to the elevator.

"Ms. Carlyle?" A tall man with black hair asked as he stood by the back door of a black car.

"Yes, are you my driver?" I walked forward and he opened the door and held his hand out.

"Yes, ma'am. My name is Charles," I took his hand and smiled at him as I took my seat.

He shut the door and walked to the driver's seat. 

"First time going to an event," he asked once he was on the road.

"Is it that obvious?" I blushed as he gave me a look through the rearview mirror.

"Yes, ma'am. I can assure you that everything will be fine." There was a short pause as he looked back at the road.

"He must be rather fond of you."

I cleared my throat at his assessment, "Why do you say that, Charles?"

He looked into my eyes through the mirror and then looked back at the road, "He told me he'd shoot me in the knee caps if anything happened to you on the way to the event. So, really, it's just an assumption." I heard him chuckle lightly.

I gasped and raised my hand to my mouth, "Did he really? Gosh, I'm so sorry. I don't think he actu--"

"--He would," he interrupted me as he stared into my eyes.

I swallowed audibly and remained silent for the rest of the ride. The charity ball was in the middle of the city so we were battling a bit of traffic, but we still made it there by 8:35.

I waited for Charles to come around to my side and open my door to help me out before I thanked him.

"It's my pleasure, Ms. Carlyle."

I immediately had to walk down a red carpet. Cameras were flashing and the chattering was thunderous with questions of 'Who are you wearing?' and 'Who is your date?'.

I just plastered a smile on my face and walked as calmly as I could until I reached the doors. 

Two guards stood in front of them looking expectantly.

"Uh, I'm Dominic Blackstone's assistant. My name is--"

"--Genevieve Carlyle," One of the burly men asked.

"Yes, Sir."

He gave me a once over, opened the door, and ushered me through. 

"Thank you," I said as I turned back but he was facing forward again.
