"At least stay for dinner. We could order in..," I tried to tempt him.

We hadn't bothered to put on any clothes as we laid across my bed just talking softly and teasing each other.

"Genevieve...I can't."

He didn't look at me as he spoke, his eyes were trained to the ceiling.

"Please," I tried again, "Let's just eat, have some wine...maybe watch some bad tv and see where the night takes us..."

I rolled over onto my stomach and came face to face with his shoulder, giving it a light kiss.

He had an arm under his head, the other at his side and he looked like a greek god as he posed without even meaning to.

"You are insatiable, Ms. Carlyle," he murmured, that trademark smirk playing on his lips as he turned his head to look at me.

"I really am," I flirted, biting his shoulder gently.

The truth was that I couldn't get enough of Dominic. He was almost so perfect to a fault...but he wasn't. He had one glaring imperfection...

He still planned on acting like the perfect boyfriend in a happy relationship with Jasmine, even taking her to lunch tomorrow, but he had promised me that by the end of the week he would end things with her.

He picked up my hand that was on his chest and brought it to his lips, his mustache tickling my fingers as he kissed my knuckles.

"Can I be honest with you," he asked, his voice a husky whisper against my fingers.

"Always, please," I breathed, biting my lip.

"I don't, honestly, think I can keep up with you. You are the youngest submissive I've had and I am getting older..."

He let the sentence trail off and to see him sad and self-pitying... It was so unlike him.

"Dominic," I began, "You are...strong, and confident, and usually so sure of yourself. You keep me on my toes, and you always seem to know what I'm thinking. If anyone can't keep up, it's simply me. You are almost too perfect. You're poised, well put together, you can capture the attention of anyone in the room just by walking in--"

He cut me off when he leaned up and kissed me and then whispered against my lips, "Aren't I suppose to say all of that about you?"

I straddled his hips and sat up, feeling his hands rest on hips, "It's 2019, Sir. Men need to hear how amazing they are too."

He smirked and looked up at me with almost black eyes, "So now I'm amazing?"

I trailed my nails down his chest and to his stomach, watching the muscles contract under my touch, "I've thought you were amazing since the moment I met you, Sir."

He sat up suddenly and put his arms around me in a tight hug.

"I'm leaving her tomorrow," he breathed against my mouth and then kissed me passionately.

He left me, last night, feeling needier than I ever have.

We kissed for a long time and feeling our lips move together, feeling our tongues dance and slide together. It was a softer side of Dominic that I wasn't used to, but I, nevertheless, welcomed wholeheartedly.

He said he needed to get back to the office and go over a few more contracts before the morning and I was sad to see him go but eager to be by myself and take a shower and think about what him being single might mean.

Did he want to be in a relationship with me? Did he want to let people know that we were a 'thing'? I could never be sure with the man. He was so hard to read sometimes.

"Good morning, Genevieve," he said politely as I opened my door this morning.

He looked as breathtaking as ever in his navy suit, but he looked better naked on my bed.

"Good morning, Sir," I let my eyes roam all over him before sighing and shutting the door behind us and locking it.

"Can I ask you a question," he suddenly asked as we made our way to the elevator.

"Sure, Sir," I said as we waited for the doors to open.

"You really have to go home this weekend?"

We stepped into the elevator together and he pressed the 1.

"Yes, Sir, but I lied about the reason..," I admitted and saw him tense beside me.

"The real reason," he commanded, his voice coming out stern as we stepped out of the elevator and made our way out of the building.

He opened the passenger door and I got in before he walked to his side, getting in and starting the engine.

"My parents want to see me. They want to see how I've been doing on my own for the past few weeks," I explained while wringing my hands in my lap.

"And why couldn't you tell me this?"

"Because, Sir... My ex-boyfriend lives next door and is a good friend of my family's and if he knows I'm there then he'll come over and I didn't want you to find out that I had been around him and punish me."

He was silent for a moment before speaking.

"Then I'll come," he stated matter-of-factly.

"You'll come? Like...back home with me? To my parents' house?"

"Yes," he looked at me with a smirk, "I can't have the boy-next-door moving in on my woman, now can I?"

'Oh, he's good.'

Yes, yes he is.

"I suppose not, Sir."

"Good morning, Gwen," Jasmine sneered at me as she entered the elevator.

"Good morning, Jasmine. It's Genevieve, by the way. Genny for sort, if you like," I smirked at her.

I had one up on her now. I wouldn't let her get to me this time. I had her man twice yesterday and I know for a fact she had him none.

"You seem to be in a good mood," she studied my smaller statue before zoning in on my collarbone

"And that is very unprofessional. Look, Dominic, look this is hickey on her chest," disgust heavy in her voice.

He looked over his shoulder down at my collar bone and a small smirk played on his lips, but he quickly set his face to look stern again and trained his eyes on the elevator doors.

"Genevieve, please tell your lover not to leave marks on you anymore. At least not in visible areas. It is quite unprofessional."

I held in my smile as Jasmine looked down at me triumphantly. Little did she know that it was Dominic who had left the mark on me. And little did she also know that I even told him the same few phrases he just said, in fact, almost word for word.

"Yes, Sir. I'll make that very clear to him, Sir," I muttered huskily, eyes still trained to Jasmines.

She turned around and put her arm around his arm, "How did the contracts go last night? Sorry I was acting so spastic, babe. I just could've sworn I heard someone with you, but... I trust you."

He patted the hand on his arm and smiled, not turning to her, "As I've said, I was in the office last night. No one was there, just me and those difficult and needy contracts."

"You talk about contracts in such a weird way, Dominic. It's almost as if you give them a personality," she said thoughtfully.

I swear I almost snorted and laughed out loud at the same time. The coffee I had ingested before her sentence burned my nose as it threatened to come out.

"Are you okay, Genevieve," Dominic asked in a stern voice. It was the voice he used when he wasn't exactly getting on to me but, instead, wanted to let me know that if I continued down the path I was on, there would be consequences.

It was amazing to me that I could understand all of this when he wasn't even looking my way.

I coughed and held back a chuckle, "Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir. I just thought of this funny thing I remembered. It won't happen again, Sir."

'Nice save.'

"So, Genevieve, Dominic tells me you're pretty smart and gifted in business. Why are you a personal assistant if you're so smart?"

"Well, I had to drop out of college. I was going for business, but something came up and I had to leave. I was hoping that coming to work at this company would give me the experience I needed to work my way up. I would one day like to be in Mr. Blackstone's position when I'm his age."

"Oh, that's right. You're like, what, 18? Barely a woman..."

Her tone was condescending but if she wasn't careful I'd show her just how much her man liked my 'barely a woman' pu--

'--Keep it together! She's trying to work you up and you're letting her!'

"22, actually, ma'am," I said in a sickly sweet voice, my eyes drilling holes into the back of her head.

She laughed, her blonde hair bobbing behind her, "Oh, you're young enough to be Dominic's daughter if he had started young."

She chuckled and playfully hit his arm, "You'd be her daddy."

I fucking lost it.

I had been in the middle of taking a sip of my coffee when I snorted and the coffee came out of my nose that time.

I was coughing and tears were rolling down my face as she got off on her floor with a disgusted look on her face.

The doors closed and Dominic handed me a handkerchief and chuckled, "You okay?"

I blew my nose in the fabric, trying to rid my nasal cavity of any leftover coffee and then looked up at him with a smirk of my own, "If only she knew that you are my Daddy."

He chuckled and pulled me to his chest before wiping the tears away with the pads of his thumbs, "You gonna tell your lover to stop leaving hickeys all over you?"

He started kissing my neck, gently nibbling here and there.

"Well, Sir... I tried to, but he doesn't seem to like listening to commands. I think he likes giving them more. I just hope you don't fire me for being unprofessional and not being able to keep him under control," I breathed as I tilted my head to give him more access.

"I'm sure there's something we can work out, Princess," he nipped at my neck a little rougher and his hands squeezed my breasts through my clothes.

"Please, Daddy," I whimpered, feeling the dull throb in my core.

He growled and bit down harder before pulling back and whispering, "Say it again."

"Please, Daddy, please. I've been such a good girl. I was even nice to that bitch and now I deserve you, Daddy."

He chuckled as he pulled my hair from the base of my head, "Oh, Princess thinks she deserves a reward for being nice?"

"Yes, Daddy. That woman is vile and she takes jabs at me any chance she gets. It takes everything I have not to knock her the fuck out."

He kissed me and pulled my bottom lip between his teeth before applying enough pressure to hurt, "Watch your language, Princess. Daddy doesn't like it when you swear."

I blushed and whimpered, "Sorry, Daddy. Maybe I need to be punished with a rough fuck."

He slammed his fist into the 'Hold' button and the elevator came to a stop.

"Try not to enjoy it so much," he whispered huskily against my lips and pushed me against the wall.
