《Freaks & Geek》Chapter 21: Sway With Me

Harlow had to spell herself to be able to walk that morning. When she tried to get out of bed she fell straight to the floor. She wasn't going to waste the day though. She had promised her son a Mommy and me day and she was going to give it to him.

Harlow and Alistair came back home that Saturday around 3 pm feeling refreshed and pampered. Harlow knew her baby like the back of her hand and understood since he was a kitten that he liked the finer things in life.

She thought back to the year she didn't know he was a demon or could talk and got a package for a gold encrusted cat grill that was mysteriously ordered. She couldn't help but chuckle at the memory.

"Did you have fun?" Wes said giving her a kiss as she put Alistair down. "We had a blast," the cheerful feline responded. "Mama took us to get manicures and pedicures, then we had brunch and then she took me shopping and then we went to the movies." Wes and Val looked at them like they were crazy. "How the heck did you manage to do all that with a cat?"

Harlow pulled out her giant movie purse with a smile. The nail salon was actually quite accommodating when I expressed that Alistair was my emotional support pet, which isn't a lie. Brunch was easy, because we were outside and I toted him around in this with our snacks to get into the movies."

They laughed at her antics before taking a seat at the counter. "You ready for tomorrow?" Val asked her nervously. Harlow shrugged not really sure how to feel. "I don't even know what I'm going to say to him. I guess I just want to know why. Why he cloaked my powers and why he left us."

Wes rubbed her arms before kissing her temple. "We'll deal with that tomorrow, but in the meantime let's talk wedding." Val said cheerfully causing Harlow to clap her hands. "I want to get married in Italy and I want to honeymoon in Greece. Make it happen white boys." They chuckled at her. "When were you thinking?" In that moment, her vision came back to her.

"Soon." She said with a look in her eye that had them questioning the meaning behind it. "Is everything alright, Princess?" Wes asked pulling her to him. She nodded her head before pecking his lips. 'Tell them.' Ayla said to her and she knew she was right. "Actually, no. Everything isn't alright."

She took a seat on the stool so she could look at both of them. "The past few days a lot of people have been staring and whispering about me and I know that is to be expected because of our relationship, but one person in particular has been watching me closely and it makes me very uncomfortable."

Val already knew who she was going to say and was ready to rip his head off with his bare hands. "James?" Wes asked pointedly causing Harlow to nod.

"The other day he walked up to me and gave these half ass compliments about how happy he was that I was Queen. When I ignored him and tried to leave, he grabbed me." Val didn't realize he was squeezing the marble so tight until it snapped in his hand. Harlow's eyes widened at the broken piece that Val simply threw on the counter.

"Continue, querida." Val said through gritted teeth and she knew immediately he was pissed. "When he touched me, I had a vision." The men sat up straighter. "What happened in this vision?" Harlow told them in detail what she saw and watched as a range of emotions filtered through their faces.

"I'm going to kill him." Val said definitively before standing up. "No!" Harlow moved to stop him. "We don't even know if what I saw was real or would come true." Val placed his large hands on her shoulders and crouched down a little. "I trust your instinct, gut and powers, querida. We have to do something about James."

Harlow pulled him back before he could walk out. "I'm not saying that we won't. I just think that we should be smart about it. He's obviously jealous of you...of all three of you. He wants to get to you through me and now that we know what he could be planning we ought to use it."

"We don't know when this is supposed to happen." Harlow thought on her vision before she remembered seeing a flyer for the Thanksgiving potluck on the floor. She told them and they nodded. "Three weeks. We'll formulate a plan to catch him and the four vampires he was with and go from there."

Wes nodded, while Val stewed. "He's going to die a painful death for having the gull to touch what is ours." Harlow wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. "I know, babe, but right now I want to talk wedding." It brought a smile to his face, which she knew it would and pecked his lips.

"It's about you, Princess. You can have whatever you want. Money is no object." Alistair jumped on a stool. "Don't tell me that. I'm gone have y'all sweating like those fools on 90 Day Fiancé." Alistair purred. "Mama, I want a diamond encrusted grill this time."

Harlow laughed at her silly familiar before kissing both her men. She didn't know where Damien was, but she was sure the men would fill him in on what happened and what they were planning. Harlow spent the remainder of the afternoon talking to Calypso who she made her maid of honor.

She decided that though she wanted to invite Declan it would just be easier for it to be a supernatural affair, especially if she and her father were to get on good terms. Or even more so if Damien's Dad decided to show. By 6 pm that night, Calypso and Harlow had a shared Pinterest page with everything mapped and planned out. She would begin looking at venues and ordering décor items after their trip to Hell. She made an appointment to go dress shopping Monday after work with Calypso.

When she joined the guys in the living room they all rocked matching facial expressions. "What's wrong?" Damien looked at her and she realized it was Bael's eyes staring back at her. "There's been a change in tomorrow's plans." He spoke a bit angrily.

"What happened? Does my father not what to meet with me?" They all heard the hurt in her voice and sighed. "It seems my father has heard good things about you from some demons and wants to see for himself with your father in attendance." Harlow was confused. "What does he want me to do?"

Bael sighed loudly. "He wants to test you. In my father's mind you're not worthy of being Princess of the Underworld, but that's a load of shit and he knows it." Harlow took deep breathes to keep her anxiety at bay. "What all will I need to do?"

Damien scoffed angrily. "That's just it, dove. We don't know. These tests are picked at random by the Devil himself. It can be something as simple as changing to your demonic form or something as crazy as reap 100 souls in one day. It varies widely." Harlow let out a breath as she took a seat on his lap. "What happens if I don't pass?"

Val looked at Damien who had taken over. "He won't give his blessing, which means if I go forward with acknowledging you as my mate then I can lose my title, status and possibly powers." Harlow gasped loudly. "He can't do that!"

Damien kissed her temple before sighing. "He can do it all, dove. He's Satan himself." Wes could see Harlow's wheels turning and sighed. "It's going to be okay, Princess." Wes started but she was already up and walking out. "Don't bother me. I'll be busy." Harlow called out before heading to her room.

"We're putting her through too much. If the stares and whispers at the office and pretty much anywhere with supernatural people don't get to her then your father's fucking vendetta will. We can't lose her, Damien and thanks to the Fates we're tied together. If one of us loses her, then we all lose her and I won't let that happen." Val said with a finality they all felt. "I will give up everything I have and am to be with her. That will never change and my father doubts that, but he'll be the one looking dumb when he loses his one legitimate heir."

Harlow sat in front of her mirror and took deep breaths. "Kali," Harlow spoke lowly. "Now's your time bitch." Harlow could hear the laughter in her head before she was pushed back into the passenger seat. Kali looked over her bright red skin and black markings and smiled. Her hair was slicked back and rested on the top of her ass. "Oh, you a bad bitch for sure." She purred to her reflection before kissing it.

"We may be new to this, sweet pea, but we'll still be the baddest." Kali said to Harlow before stretching and stepping back. For hours, Alistair trained Kali on some of the things that could be brought up. He was so proud of his demon Mama and she could tell.

"You're a good kid, Abaddon." Alistair's eyes widened. "How did you know my real name?" Kali winked at him before smiling. "It's a mother's job to know her kid in and out. You ought to let him out, you know." Alistair meowed loudly. "He'll scare Mama." Kali shook her head. "He loves her just as much as you do. Let him out."

Just like that Harlow was thrown back in the driver's seat. She felt worn out and beyond tired. She didn't even have the energy to change into her nightgown and fell asleep on top of the bed in her yoga gear as Alistair curled up beside her deep in thought.

The next morning Harlow couldn't shake her fears. She knew the guys were all downstairs waiting for her because she was a frantic mess. "What do you where as the hopeful Princess of Hell? What do you wear to see the father who you just found out is a high-ranking demon and abandoned you and your sick mother? What do you wear to meet the Devil himself? Alistair, I don't know what to do!"

The cat looked at his frazzled master and sighed loudly. Alistair stood at her feet before rubbing his body against her legs. "Don't hate me, okay." Harlow was so confused until she watched her fairly large Maine coon demon cat transform into a demon all together.

Harlow watched as he just kept growing and growing. In that moment she was thankful for the expansive room with high ceilings. Harlow couldn't quite grasp what she was looking at. She knew his name as Abaddon, but he was a mix of so many creatures.

He had the torso, arms and face of a well chiseled man with large horns that curled. He had a horse's frame and legs, but instead of a normal horse tail he had a scorpion's tail. If that wasn't enough, he had giant wings that reminded her of the dragons from Game of Thrones making her large room extremely small. He looked down at her intently and Harlow soon realized that he was scared.

"Hey there little bean." Harlow cooed before walking up to him slowly. She rubbed his muscled leg as it was the only thing she could reach. He had to have been at least 8 feet tall. Abaddon moved backwards and laid down so that he could better see her. His eyes were actual fire and she could tell by the glowing streak down his chest that he could breathe it too. "I'm really glad I got to meet you today. You're giving your Mama some courage."

His face was as blank as a stone, but she knew he was smiling internally. "Do you think you could come with me to Hell? You know for moral support and all that." Abaddon nodded his head and Harlow soon realized he couldn't talk. She patted his chest before returning to the heap of clothes on her bed. "What do I wear, Abbie?" The demon cocked his head to the side before letting out a huff.

He waved one of his large arms and a cloud of smoke engulfed her. When it cleared Harlow found herself in a sexy black gown that made her look beautiful. She looked at her reflection and was speechless. The gown hugged all over her curves and showcased her ample chest. There was a high split on both sides that accentuated her thick thighs.

The heels she wore were high and had a gold snake wrapped around the heel with an apple in its mouth. Her makeup was flawlessly natural with a bright red lip. Her natural hair was done up in the most intricate updo while a gold tiara rested on her head. She was stunning and for the first time since the beginning of this adventure she felt like royalty.

"Thank you, Abbie." She turned to him, but he was bowing to her. "Boy stop! You don't have to bow to your Mama. This makes you royalty too as my son." She smiled at him before tracing his wings. The large demon moved his wing to push her towards him and rested his giant head against hers. Harlow felt a warmth rush over her like never before. It was almost overwhelming as a light engulfed them.

She looked into his fiery eyes and smiled. She didn't know what he did, but the nerves and fears she felt seemed to have vanished. "Come on," Harlow finally waved on as they made their way through the door. She gave thanks once more that everything in the mansion was stupidly oversized. She realized now that Bael could probably get as big if not bigger.

They heard heels clicking and watched as their queen made her way down. She was a vision and as they saw Abaddon flying down behind her they couldn't help but be proud. "You were meant to be ours." Damien said taking her hand and kissing it. "I know." She smiled giving them all a deep kiss. "Let's get this shit over with." Wes grumbled wanting nothing more than to be buried in his mate and then curled up watching Squid Game.

Damien chuckled at his best friend before taking his mate's hand in his. He waved his hand and opened a portal big enough to fit them all. Brutus, Saber and Gunner followed behind Abaddon into the portal before it closed. Harlow took everything in. She had traveled by portal before, but she was so focused on getting dick she didn't pay attention. It seemed as though they were traveling through glass and space. It was all so quick but she saw nothing but reflections and constellations.
