《Freaks & Geek》Chapter 8: Everything Has Grown

Harlow spent the next hour studying every inch of the room. Her first thing to unpack and take in was the gamer setup. She didn't know anyone who had this kind of layout, but she was thankful that she could use it while she resided there. Then there was the little lounge area that Alistair had quickly made his own. She set up his litter box in her en suite bathroom that was made for a Queen.

The marble everything and large shower along with massive tub just seemed like too much. The closet was a top favorite and was filled with clothes that were not only her size, but mostly designer and name brand. That wasn't really her style, but she'd pretend to be one of the elites as long as Val's sister was fine sharing clothes, shoes and purses.

Her favorite thing though by far was the king size bed. She made sure to shower and change into one of the many nightwear options folded in one of the various drawers before laying down. She figured she'd have to buy underwear at some point, but the draw that was filled with them and bras all had the tags on them. She would just give Val's sister money to replace them.

The whole thing was so strange, but seemed set for her. Everything fit too perfectly and the fact that the room was quite literally plucked from her mind was ridiculous. The bed was a siren song to her body and she didn't know when or how it happened but she quickly gave into a deep and dark slumber. Alistair jumped on the expansive bed to make sure Harlow was sleeping deeply before making his way out of the room. The door was closed, but he used his demonic powers to open it slightly. He walked down the stairs to find the guys all sitting in the kitchen talking.

He jumped on the seat next to Wes scaring him. Alistair couldn't help but snicker. He knew the wolf would be his favorite. "How is she?" Val asked the demon cat. "She's knocked the fuck out. Today was too much for her." They nodded in agreement. "I guess I'll leave her food in the fridge." Damien said as he began wrapping the lasagna.

"Why did her mother cloak her?" Wes asked after a while. Alistair seem to give a small shrug. "Her father was around until she was five years old. She started showing her powers at that age and I guess he couldn't handle it. He was obviously faced with the reality that as a demon he had a part angel for a daughter and tried everything to suppress that side of her before ultimately leaving."

"He tried to bind her powers, but Mama is too powerful for all that shit. It didn't work, so then her mother tried to assist in an attempt to appease her father and it still didn't work. They were about to give up on their dream of raising her as a mortal until they remembered cloaking. Her mother cloaked her witch DNA, while her father cloaked her demonic DNA. They both cloaked her angel DNA as technically they are both angels. They not only cloaked her from other supernatural beings, but they cloaked her from herself."

The guys listened intently. "Her mother is dead though, so how is she still cloaked?" Damien asked confusedly. "Her father is still alive and is quite powerful. Her witchy powers are poking out and quickly. She conjured up the opening at your job. She has had so many things fall in her lap simply from the power of her words and now that she's met you three it's only going to get stronger. Her angelic and demonic powers won't show much since her father is still present, but I'm sure Damien can speak to him about reversing the cloaking if that's what you all truly want."

They looked from Alistair to Damien. Damien hated that he was the oldest. Things often fell in his lap when it came to decision making. "Who is her father?" Damien asked Alistair aware of every demon that resided in Hell and on Earth. Alistair licked his paw before answering. "Beelzebub." Damien visibly faltered at the news. He wasn't even aware Beelzebub had ever left hell let alone long enough to mate and start a family.

He was one of the toughest and roughest demons. He was almost as feared by others as Damien was. Beelzebub was likened to a decorated military official in the United States. He had started so many wars and reaped so many souls for Damien's father that his merits were talked about for centuries. This demon superstar that was known in Heaven and Hell as being his father's right-hand man and his somewhat uncle was his mate's father.

"He'll never lift the cloaking," Damien said finally. "You need to talk to him then. Ask why he won't and tell him it's actually harming her then helping her." Wes pleaded. "Is it really harming her? I mean, no offense to Bael, but there's a she demon that is currently under wraps and not wreaking havoc within our mate. Isn't that a good thing?" Val interjected causing Alistair to laugh. "Oh honey, Kali is very much so present she's just subdued I guess you can say."

They stared at the feline. "Explain yourself."Damien ordered causing Alistair to roll his eyes. "Kali and Ayla are her demon and angel. They are very much alive and aware they're just partially sedated.Mama will have moments, usually when she has to make a decision, that will wake them up. She quite literally has an angel and demon on her shoulder." They sat with the newfound information. "Has she ever seen her demonic form in a dream maybe?" Damien asked both worried and hopeful.

Alistair stretched against the chair before sighing. "Mama has moments when Kali isn't as sedated as she should be. It's usually when she's really upset or mad. Mama calls these moments emotional blackouts, but it's usually when Kali takes over for a few seconds. Her form doesn't change, but her eyes do. Thankfully these moments have only come out when I'm around, so I'm able to change into a miniature version of my true form and wipe the memory of the assaulted." They all nodded.

"Show us your true form, demon." Alistair huffed before turning his back to Damien. "I don't know why this wigga continues to call me out my name, but I'm not having it." Wes couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him. "Can we please see your true form, Alistair?" Wes said with a smile. "You three show me yours and I'll show you mine." He snickered causing Damien to huff, but he knew Bael needed some time out.

Damien cranked his neck from side to side before he closed his eyes. Immediately white skin was changed to onyx with crocodile scarring all over his body. His red horns stood out from the tops of his forehead while red marks circled his eyes and trailed under his bottom lip. "Hey, Bael, long time no see," Val said with a smile causing the demon to grunt a response.

Wes stood up and made his way behind Bael. He took deep breaths before he handed the reigns over to Aries. In seconds a giant white wolf stood in their expansive kitchen making the space quite smaller. Alistair was giddy with the transformations.

"Your turn," Alistair said to Val who simply rolled his eyes before letting his fangs descend and his eyes turn from their hazel green shade to a bright blood red as the veins around his eyes protruded. They were all so focused on being free and open that they didn't hear the small footsteps come down the stairs. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't see Harlow watch everything that transpired.

It wasn't until Alistair meowed loudly that they saw her. Harlow didn't know what was wrong with her. She was Black. She knew she was Black and as a Black woman she knew she should be running for her life, but as she stepped closer to the three creatures in front of her everything within her said to stay.

Harlow was scared, but more so curious. It took her awhile, but she finally made her way in front of Val or who she presumed to be Val. She used the tips of her fingers to trace the veins that moved and protruded around his eyes. She immediately noticed his fangs and took a small step back. Harlow immediately regretted it because she saw the look of rejection on Val's face. She mustered up some courage and stepped closer to him before she touched one fang and then the other. He watched her so intently that it was unnerving, but again something in her told her to stay. She gave him a small smile before turning away.

She turned to the white wolf that eyed her cautiously. He was huge and it was a bit overwhelming but she stepped forward slowly. She held out her hand and tried to tell herself that he was just a big puppy. When he had finished sniffing her hand, he made a move to get closer and it frightened her. She was stone stiff with her eyes closed tightly ready to be devoured when she felt a large tongue against her face. Harlow couldn't help but laugh loudly as she opened her eyes. "Hey there boy, Black people do not let their pets lick them in the face!"

She heard small whimpers from the wolf and sighed. "Come here," she beckoned with a chuckle as he dipped his head and let her try to wrap her small arms around his neck. His fur was ridiculously soft and Harlow had the distinct urge to cuddle up with him and fall asleep. "You're a good boy," she said stroking his fur. She turned to look at the man standing beside him. Harlow wasn't big on supernatural things, but she knew it existed. She also knew without a shadow of a doubt that the man now standing in front of her was a demon.

She was raised with various religions as the backdrop thanks to her mother. Of what she remembered of her father she knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was not Christian. Harlow stared at the demon intently before reaching out to touch him. He stepped back abruptly and Harlow found herself pouting. She placed her hand back down before looking them over. "Well,I think you're Val so that covers the vampire in the room. But I'm trying to figure out which of you is Wes and which is Damien." Harlow said thinking onit.

They didn't understand why she wasn't freaking out. 'Is this part of the mate's pull?' Val asked over their mind link. 'How is she not scared of us? How is she not running from us?' Bael spoke through. 'Wes told you two everything would work out.' Aries said happily. It was in that moment they were all grateful for their bond. The Fates had linked them in the 1200s allowing them to speak through telepathy during one of the many supernatural wars. It helped them then to be great warriors and they knew it would help them now to be the best mates.

"Wes is a little shaggy and scruffy, so if I had to put money on it, I'd bet you're Wes." She said with a smile pointing at the white wolf. He trotted up to her before rubbing his large head against her. She couldn't help but laugh before looking back at the demon. "That means you're Damien." She gave him a small smile and he couldn't understand why. "Can I touch you?"

"Why would you want to?" Bael asked causing Harlow to step back. He visibly cursed himself and his demonic voice. "I'll get Damien." Harlow shook her head and grabbed his arm. "Please don't. I want to talk to you." He stared at her hand on his arm before looking back at her. "What's your name?" He looked at her eyes and saw genuine curiosity and smirked. "Bael." He said before pointing at the wolf. "That's Aries not Wes. And you know Val." Harlow looked at all of them and soaked it all in.

"Aren't you scared?" Bael asked her finally. She looked back at him into his black eyes and shook her head no. In that moment, Bael watched as her eyes also turned all black. "Hi love," she purred before her eyes turned back to normal. "I'm sorry, did you say something? I feel like I blacked out for a second there." Bael now knew why people smiled. He had a quick glimpse of his she demon and he wanted more. Val went to say something, but they all immediately heard her stomach grumbling. "Oh, this is so embarrassing."

Val chuckled before moving to get her food from the fridge and warm it up. "Can we talk some more over dinner?" She asked Bael who simply nodded. "I'm going to change back into Damien though." Harlow pouted causing him to smirk. "It's not safe for you if I'm in this form too long." Harlow looked at him nervously. "I won't hurt you, little thing. I just am struggling with the fact that I want to fuck the shit out of you and to avoid that from happening right here on the kitchen counter I'm going to have Damien tap in."

Harlow's eyes widened, while Aries shook his head. "Well, shit." Harlow finally breathed out as onyx skin was replaced with white. Damien stood before her with a nervous look on his face. "Dinner is ready," Val called out before leading Harlow to a stool. Harlow heard crunching behind her and turned to see the large wolf disappear and be replaced with a very naked Wes. "Sweet Mother of God!" Harlow exclaimed as she looked over his muscular form. Her eyes stopped at a certain section and she visibly shook. She had never seen a dick so beautiful before and was ready and willing in that moment to be impaled by it.

"I'm all yours, Princess. Just say the word." Harlow moved her eyes from his dick to his very amber eyes and smirked. "Go put some clothes on, Aries." He chuckled at her before leaving them in the kitchen.
