~Previously On Cupid's mission~
"Y/n, did you finally do it! Did you kiss Saiki even if you really didn't like him? If you did I'm proud of you now the-" I take out the ear piece angrily.
"Hey Saiki have you seen-" she starts off anxiously but I knew what she was going to ask.
I unravel the hand that was holding the ear piece and her face immediately drops. Her face looks guilty and nervous.
"What's the meaning of this."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I tried to speak I urge my body to do something, anything, but I couldn't.
My body was stuck, I was too shocked.
This wasn't suppose to happen, not now at least!
Saiki started to approach me slowly. I didn't know what he was planning. He then places his hand on my shoulder.
Next thing you know we weren't at the carnival anymore. We were now under a cherry blossom tree in what looked like a secluded park.
My thoughts were going all over the place but were soon stopped by Saiki's not so happy tone.
"So is there something you want to tell me?" Saiki looks at me with a look that wasn't his usual stoic expression.
"W-Wait Saiki let me just explain—" I start off but I couldn't find the words to make this situation better
"Ah I get it. You used me. Well there's nothing you need to explain now." He says now taking a few steps back making the distance between us grow.
I stay quiet knowing that he isn't wrong. I was only using him at first to get rid of my persistent father. Though along the way I've come to love everything about Saiki, but it's too late now. He knows and it's all my fault.
I feel him look at me with a disappointing expression.
"So I was right wasn't I. This was all done on purpose after all? And here I thought I could trust you, I guess I was wrong." He places his arms in his jean pockets.
"Hold up, blindly trusted me when I taught you how to control your powers. Why can't you trust me again?" I cross my arms sassily.
"I helped you out, and you gave me your trust. Just like how I gave you mine. Be grateful I even helped control your dumb powers. And I get why you're mad, I broke your trust, but I also have helped you out in more ways than one. Why can't we work this out, together?" I question him, my voice decreasing in volume from the small lump forming in my throat.
"Yes I did trust you, but you broke it. Plus you don't even know what it's like to have half of my powers." He clenches his hand into a fist and grits his teeth.
"Sure you're a psychic and bend elements like a freak but you haven't been through what I have." I could hear the pain in his voice
"You don't even know half of the miseries I've experienced with this power." I could see the tears well-up in his eyes.
"You know, I thought you would understand. I thought you would get how I feel since we're both psychics, but I guess I was wrong." He finishes his outburst looking pissed.
"I do understand how you feel I've experience some of that pain as well. I know what it's like to have all these peoples thoughts crowd your head. I know what it's like to be scared of my own self. Trust me I know that feeling. But, if that's how you feel then I won't stop you from leaving. Just know that I was trying, I really was trying to help you out." I say now feeling remorse for Saiki's pain.
"You know what Atria was right, you're no different when compared to Teruhashi." He says now more calmly.
I raise my eyebrow at him. Who the fuck does he think he is?
"What do you mean I'm no different from Teruhashi! Also who the heck is Atria?"
"Oh like you don't know?" He says now crossing his arms.
"Uh no I don't know." I say flailing my arms in confusion.
"There you go lying again. Anyways I'm leaving and going to someone that isn't a liar like Atria." He places his hands in his pockets.
"Who's Atria?" I repeat.
"The girl who gave me her phone number. Anyways bye at least I know she won't lie to me." And with that he teleports away.
"Shit." I sit down on the bench that was randomly there.
I place my elbows on my knees and I lean my head on my hands for support.
"I fucked up real bad. I'm so stupid, but why was he calling me a liar about not knowing who "Atria" is!" I huff and cross my arms over my stomach in defeat feeling the warm tears trying to emerge from their hiding.
"Hey little one.." I feel the big hand of Frans lay on my shoulder comfortably.
I stayed quiet, I was too pissed at myself to form any words right now.
"What's wrong?" The big French man asked me.
"I messed up Fran, I lost the earphone you gave me to communicate and I guess Saiki heard you expose the plan and then he left." I summarize the issue.
"Look kid it's not your fault." He starts off but my body jerks up in realization.
"You're right this isn't my fault...this is your fault." I say now standing up and vigorously run a hand through my hair.
"If you haven't given me a plan to follow, Saiki would still be here." I stop my frustration and now look at Fran in his eyes that resembles mine.
"If you haven't placed that potion in my drink I wouldn't have to feel like this!" He then raises an eyebrow at me.
"What are you implying, y/n." His voice wasn't that warm welcoming tone. No, now his tone was cold. Though that didn't stop me.
"I'm implying that this, all of this, wouldn't have happened if I've never met you!" Once I finished my outburst I pant like I've ran a marathon from all the frustration I've held in.
"Y/n.....I know you don't mean that.." Frans tone now became quiet like a child who confessed that they broke the cookie jar.
"I meant it, now just leave me alone, Francisco." I use his full name, I saw Fran flinch slightly at my cold bitter tone.
"As you wish, just know that I'm always a call away if you need to talk." And with that he teleports away.
I sigh once realizing what I've done.
"It's not your fault, it's mine and I need to make this right." I say now standing up.
"I can't be a baby and cry about this I need to face reality." I pull out my phone and call Tamaki.
"Y/n, where the heck have you been? We were worried!" I hear the screeching voice of Tamaki through my phone.
"I've been here and there and everywhere." I reply sarcastically.
"Y/n." I hear the menacing tone through the phone which gave me chills up my spine.
"Alright I'm sorry. I really am but can I explain all of this in person?" I question Tamaki with a sad tone in my voice.
"Alright we'll be waiting in my hotel suite. It's number 506 and I'll send you the address." He then hangs up.
"I promise I'll make this right, at least somehow I will." I rub away the tears that started to run down my face. Getting up I teleport to the address Tamaki has sent.
Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
