Hey guys😅....long time no see sorry about the looooooonnnnnnngggg wait. But guess what! This chapter is really long. Oh and by the way...the clock is ticking. (I'm foreshadowing... I think) look at this pic! It's so cute!

"This is Cupid. Cupid to stupid, can you hear me?" I hear Fran through the opposite end of the ear piece. I could feel a tick mark grow on the edge of my forehead once hearing my code name.

"Who you calling stupid?!" I whisper-yell when I replied back through the ear piece.

"Who else would I be calling stupid?"

I hear his sarcasm through the ear piece.

"You really know how to tick someone off don't you?" I raise an eyebrow at his behavior even if he can't see me.

"It's my specialty." I could practically hear his smug smile through the ear piece.

"You're such a butthole. Anyways will you ever tell me the plan or are you going to improvise?" I question him seriously now that this mission is at potential risk.

"Who do you think I am? I always have a plan." Fran says and I just chuckle at his cocky reply.

"Ok love god, it's your time to shine!" I simply say and wait for Saiki to come back from throwing the trash.

"So what do you want to do now?" Saiki ask while kicking a pebble in boredom.

"You." I mumbled under my breath.

"Can you repeat that I didn't hear you." He ask and I gulp nervously.

That shouldn't have come out of me. Damn my inner thirsty self. I can't say things like that. Quick find a decoy.

"I said, what do you want to do?" I say while rubbing my hands a bit from the now chilling air. France may be beautiful but the temperatures do get quite cold.

"How about the Ferris wheel?" Saiki suggests the idea and I agree.

What screams "you're about to have your first kiss" than a Ferris wheel?

We walk slowly to the Ferris wheel not before stopping by a Cotten candy stand that was handing out a huge bag of this colorful-cloud-looking treat for five Euros. (I personally don't know how money works in Europe but I hope I'm not wrong and that I'm using these terms correctly.)

Once paying for the sweet treat we head to the very tall wheel of fortune.

"Y/n you don't have to respond to whatever I'm saying so you don't look suspicious around Saiki, but I need to warn you. Your friends are near by. If you want to get this kiss to happen you need to hurry." I hear Fran through the ear piece.

"Hey Saiki look the line isn't that long and if we rush we can probably get the last ride of the evening!" I pull on Saiki's sleeve excitedly.

"Good grief women, I'm coming." He bluntly replies and follows without complaint.

Once arriving to the front of the line Saiki holds the door. I thank him with a nod and a smile and sit on one of the seats while he sits on the one across from me.

We sit there in awkward silence, well it was awkward for me. I was overthinking the situation.

Do I really want to do this is? I mean Fran never explained why I had to this. I don't even know what he wants me to do. And what if Saiki feels violated after this and never speaks to me again. Dude I like Saiki! Shit! Feelings weren't suppose to happen not today at least.

Before my thoughts could turn any weirder I hear the snap of a finger from across me.

"Hey are you alright? You zoned out for a minute or so." I hear Saiki ask while crossing his arms.

"Yea I'm fine it's just this feels surreal. I'm in Paris, and a few months ago almost a year, I moved in to my house." I smile at the memory of moving in to a separate house from the foster home.

"Now that I've met you I've made new friends, reunited with old ones and made a few enemies, but we aren't going to talk about that right now." I wave off the memory of making enemies with Teruhashi and her club.

"And now I'm here in the city of love on a Ferris wheel with the guy I like and-" I stop myself there.

Welp I didn't expect that coming out of my mouth anytime soon.

"Wait that's not what I meant. Haha you see what I meant was.." I start rambling but I couldn't think of a good excuse.

"Hey look it's Kaidou and the rest of the group." He says pointing to the group below us who are now 30 feet away since the wheel is still going up.

Did he just ignore my confession?

I sigh slightly relieved and slightly angry because this may go nowhere and I'm almost out of time.

Sorry I didn't mean to ignore y/n's confession I'm just surprised she'd ever want to date me.

You know, for a psychic you are very stupid. Give her a chance! She's been trying to get with you, not in a sexual way, but she has, for a long time. In fact since I have control of this book I'll give you guys a push.

Wait! What do you mean by that-?

The Ferris wheel made a creaking sound and the cart swung harshly by the abrupt stop of the machine.

This caused me to stumble off my seat and now my arms are placed by the sides of y/n's arms. I look up to see her face not far from mine.

"Well this is unexpected." I say through my mind and she just blushed.

Suddenly the cart moved again, this time at its normal pace. I pull back my arms and help her get back to her seat that I didn't see her fall out of.

"Are you alright?" I question her and she nods. I could still see she was flustered, but I mean who wouldn't.

So your plan didn't work, what now?

Oh honey, I'm not finished yet

What?

I then felt the cart move again but this time it moved in the opposite direction. This time it made y/n fall on top of me.

You know what I'll just kiss her to get the author off my back. She wants us together this is how it'll be.

No, wait!

Before I could here the protest I pull the back of y/n's head closer to me. I could see the mixed emotions in her eyes. Slowly but surely I leaned in and place my lips on hers.

What is happening right now? He's kissing me but I don't know how to kiss back!

I inwardly groan for the lack of knowledge I have of kissing but I kiss, well tried to kiss back. I could taste the sweetness of the cotton candy we were eating earlier.

The kiss was cut short when we felt the Ferris wheel initiate once again.

I pull away and look into Saiki's eyes, well I tried. His green shades were blocking them.

"Um well that was unexpected." I say with a small smile. Mimicking Saiki's reaction earlier.

He stands up and pulls me up as well.

We just stood their awkwardly. I could tell that both of us needed a moment to process what happened.

"Bonjour les passagers, nous avons des problémes avec les machines, cela prendra donc quelques minuties s'il vous plaît restez calme et attendez d'autres instructions." The small megaphone spoke loudly to the people on this ride. (Again I don't speak French so this could possibly be wrong I used google translate. So sorry if I use anything wrong)

"What did the speaker say?" Saiki questions.

"Oh right, you don't speak this language. They said that the ride is having difficulties and that this will take a while, so we just need to stay calm for the time being." I summarize the information to Saiki to which he nods to.

"I'm sorry." I hear him say through my mind.

"Sorry for what?" I question him knowingly. I just wanted him to say what he did because I'm not even sure it happened.

"That I kissed you without consent. You probably hate me now." He says while rubbing his neck ashamed.

"Oh don't worry about it, I mean I kissed back. Proves that I do like you as well." I smile at him shyly.

Even if I have confessed nothing feels different.

"Ok that's good. Wait, did you just say you like me?" He now points a finger at me with a shocked expression on his face.

"Yea I mean why would I kiss back if I didn't." I say now sitting back in my seat and this time he sits next to me.

"Well I didn't expect a girl like you could possibly ever like me." He says looking at his feet.

I was shocked. I didn't think Saiki would ever be self-conscious about himself.

"Nonsense! Don't think that, you're a great person Saiki. Although you don't admit it you've helped your friends many times. I'm actually quite surprised you'd be the one to kiss me." I say now rubbing the back of my neck.

"I'm not perfect like Teruhashi so your motives to kiss me are unclear." I say now looking at the beautiful view.

"Now look who's talking nonsense. I like you for you. Even if you've annoyed me, tease me, you still make me laugh. You make me feel so carefree, and you've taught me how to use my powers without worrying about the consequences. What makes you think I don't like you? Trust me I really do." He finished his little confession and I could feel my heart beat faster.

I never knew he'd actually fall for me. But what about me? I told myself I wouldn't fall for him and choose my own lover. But here I am all flustered and happy.

I look into Saiki's eyes but this time we leaned in simultaneously. I place my arms around his neck standing a bit on my tip toes to reach him. I could feel his arms naturally wrap around my waist and once again we place our lips against each other.

They moved in harmony like they were meant for each other and they've been waiting so long to reunite.

After a few seconds we both pull apart. Suddenly the cart jerked and I fell against Saiki's chest.

He then wraps his arms around me tighter and sits down. He places my body next to him and I stay there moving my head to his shoulder to be more comfortable.

"Well this turned out better than I expected." I say with some guilt in my voice.

I'm sorry.

We both waited till the ride was over, once we reached the bottom I hop of the cart. Not knowing I dropped the ear piece that Fran gave me for this "mission."

I haven't felt happy in a long time. But I feel wrong as well. I didn't realized that I really liked her that much. But overall I'm just glad I met y/n, she makes me feel accepted and has taught me to be acceptive of myself.

Y/n thanks the conductor in French, but when she hopped off I saw something fall out of her hair. I pick it up without her knowing. I saw that it was an ear piece.

I go to her to give it back not knowing why she would have this, but then I near a loud voice come from it.

I curiously place the ear piece in my own ear.

"Y/n did you finally do it! Did you kiss Saiki even if you really didn't like him? If you did I'm proud of you now the-" I take out the ear piece angrily.

"Hey Saiki have you seen-" she starts off anxiously but I knew what she was going to ask.

I unravel the hand that was holding the ear piece and her face immediately drops. Her face looks guilty and nervous.

"What's the meaning of this."

Hey guys....😂hehe I know you probably hate me for taking so long to publish a chapter.

But like my excuses all the time they're the same and a few new ones.

-I have a lot of homework

-I procrastinate

-I wanted to get this chapter right because I feel like you guys deserve a better chapter and better writing/description

-I've been having mixed feelings about who I am

-I've got writers block

-I've been having some anxiety attacks in my sleep which isn't fun but I'm pulling through

But that's all so just so you know if I don't publish very quickly it's usually because of these
