Hey guys! :) This chapter is long! picture is the roller coaster you guys will ride in the book.

After the short cliche ride we were on we got off and head towards the small roller coaster.

Surprisingly there was one, there's so many stuff here in the carnival it's almost like an amusement park.

We head towards the line and wait there as well.

"Hey Saiki where do you want to sit?" I question him since I prefer to go in the middle or the back I want his opinion so he's comfortable. Though I'm terrified of the front.

"How about the front?" My reaction was unnoticed by Saiki, but all I can tell you, the color drained from my body, making a puddle at the bottom of my feet.

"Oh yea that's a great s-suggestion. Hey look it's our turn, oh wait someone's there, aw too bad, the front seats have been taken." I fake a disappointed sigh and go towards the middle.

"Hey ma'am they front seats are the only available ones. The ones in the middle can't be used right now." The French brunette man in charge of the ride says and points to the front. Where I promised you someone was sitting there but not anymore.

Saiki and I head towards the front and my shaky hand takes the buckle and plugs it into the holder where I have now signed the contract to the reaper.

"Are you alright you look like you're about to throw up." Saiki ask while furrowing his eyebrows in worry or disgust.

"No I'm fine, I'm great haha..ha...ugh." I wince at the feeling of my stomach dropping and the ride hasn't even started.

"Don't tell me you're afraid of roller coasters." He teases just the slightest though he still had his blunt face.

"So what if I am, idiot. I've never been on many roller coaster, and I've never been in the front before either!" I snap angrily at the poor strawberry who just lets out a sigh.

I turn around in embarrassment now that he knows another fear of mine plus the roach one as well.

My pouting stopped once I felt a warm hand interlace with mine.

Surprised at the human contact I look at Saiki who's just looking straightforward.

"Here, you can hold my hand throughout the ride, just don't be a baby and yell the whole time, alright?" He ask which I nod to.

Looking at our hands I felt my heart skip a beat.

Oh no am I having a panic attack?!

Or am I...feeling..?

I think I'm having a panic attack.

I say that in my mind but we all know that I'm catching feelings and there's no turning back from that.

"The ride will start in 3, 2, 1." The conductor says boringly and the roller coaster made a jerk and slowly acclimatized towards the top.

Each few seconds I tighten my hand around Saiki's but it didn't seem to affect him, which was good.

Before I knew it the ride finished in 30 seconds.

That wasn't that bad.

Both Saiki and I get off and Saiki offers a hand to help me get up from my seat.

I gladly took his hand, although mine is still shaking from the adrenaline I still hold his warm hand, again.

We walk towards the exit of the ride where they were also selling pictures of the ride. I saw Saiki and I's photos and decide to buy it.

I look like I'm about to pass out but Saiki looks stoic as always. Though I can see a small smile forming on Saiki's mouth and I smile at the thought of Saiki smiling.

"What took you so long?" Question Saiki once I got out of the photo area.

"Oh nothing I was just asking about where the best food hut is around here!" I tell a white lie hiding the picture in my phone case. Since they were quite small I could get a clear case and place it there.

"Anyways lets go eat, all this adrenaline rush has me hungry!" I eagerly pull on Saiki's sleeve which didn't make much of a difference to his pace, since he is stronger than I.

Though I sense he is following me with the lack of restraint I felt when pulling on his sleeve.

We arrive to a hut selling pastries and pasta. I order pasta of my liking while Saiki orders, well you guess it, pastries like always.

"Do you ever get cavities?" I ask him once receiving our plates and heading towards a picnic table under a trees shade.

"No, why would I? I can take care of myself." He replies monotonously.

"Geez don't have to be rude about it, I was just curious." I huff while placing a spoonful of pasta in my mouth.

"Haven't you heard that saying, curiosity killed the cat." He looks at me with a deadpan look and goes to eat his pastry.

"Yea but satisfaction brought it back." I reply quickly with a smirk.

"I've never heard that phrase before, so it doesn't count." I scowled at his reply.

"What do you mean my phrase doesn't count. Many people have used it!" I say now angrily shoving pasta in my mouth.

"Fine you win. Only because I want to enjoy my strawberry cake." He states with a small smile to his face when going back to savoring the freshly made strawberry dessert.

I huff but didn't argue against his decision since I as well wanted to eat my pasta in peace.

I only agreed with her because seeing her angry isn't my favorite version of her. I rather see her happy, so just this once I'll put my pride aside.

I halt my munching. Did I really think that?

I swallowed the big piece of cake left in my mouth causing me to choke slightly since I didn't finish chewing.

"Are you ok there Saiki?" I felt a slight pat on my back from y/n making me feel quite better.

"Yea I'm fine." I say feeling my heart rate go slightly faster. Although it was a small change, I didn't enjoy it.

Pushing away the thoughts of my heart I go and throw away my paper plate as well as y/n's plate.

I swear I thought I saw a smile or something formed by his lips. Oh well I'll just enjoy my pasta!

I could tell Saiki was in deep thought but I decide to not bother him. Maybe he doesn't want to be bothered right now.

Once I finish Saiki goes to place our trash to the trash bin. Although it's quite far considering we sat at the tree in the outer area of the food hut.

"Bonjour my beautiful daughter! I haven't seen you in so long!" I feel a bone crushing hug from behind me.

"Hey, now can you please let me go before you suffocate me!" I squirm in his grasp and he lets go immediately.

"So, is my little bundle of joy going on her first date? Oh my gosh I need to take a picture of this and frame it!" Fran pulls out a camera in mid air and takes a picture.

"Fran it's not a date! We're just hanging out that's all." I say with a small blush on the top of my cheeks.

"This scenario doesn't seem like it's a friendly hang out. Come on. You guys are in the town of love, why haven't you fallen in love yet?" He questions me curiously.

"How am I suppose to know! Besides we're just friends." I say now looking down at the table in confusion.

We're just friends, right?

"Friends my ass. You guys held hands, went to eat and you made this little stoic boy smile. He never smiles, that must mean something!" Fran states while waving his arms frantically.

"He does smile! He smiles when he eats sweet and....he smiles when...." I didn't continue my sentence. "Now that I think about it he doesn't really ever smile unless he's eating his pastries." I say placing my hand on my chin in thought.

"Look who's brain is finally working." Fran sassily says.

"Hey I'm pretty sure he has smiled plenty of times before I came into his life! But let's face it Fran he wouldn't go for a girl like me. He would be better off with Teruhashi. She's prettier, smarter, and I'm pretty sure she's rich." I say in slight misery.

"Haha you best believe that I'm not letting MY DAUGHTER think so poorly of herself! No way in hell!" He huffs angrily.

"Kid you are one of a kind and I know that he'll be lucky to have you! But I'll give you a boost, here click the blue button on your earpiece. It'll connect mine with yours and I'll tell you what to do during the rest of your date." Before I could neglect his help he poofs away.

Indeed you're right y/n! Haha see what I did😂 I broke the fourth wall again. I don't think it exist in my book no more welp oops.

Anyways this chapter is long but you guys deserve it I'm pretty sure you guys waited around two weeks and that's a long wait haha sorry 😅.
