After a few minutes Mahir was still waiting for Bela to come like Anu said she will, and not finding her he went out to Yuvi's room where all three where sitting.

"Anu, where is Bela?", Mahir asked

"She came to your room only Mahir", Anu said confused

"But I haven't seen her Anu, she din't come", Mahir said

Yuvi quickly went down checking her car and realised she left long ago.

"She went away Bhai, she came to talk to you.. what would have happened?", Yuvi wondered

Mahir rubbed his temples and that's when he realised he was seeing his and Anu's marriage photo and doubted if Bela saw that.

"Shit", Mahir mumbled

"What happened Bhai?", Kuhu asked worried

"I.. I was having mine and Anu's marriage photo with me, may be.. may be Bela saw that and left?", Mahir asked hoping it wasn't true

"You still love me Mahir?", Anu asked feared of the consequences

"I love her Anu.. I love my Bela, I.. I was just..", Mahir said hitting his hand on the wall

"Bhai control please", Yuvi stopped him

"I really love her Yuvi, she will misunderstand me right? I have always hurt her.. she would have been thinking I'm still not over Anu, she must be too hurt Yuvi", Mahir said crying his heart out

It was probably the first time Yuvi or Kuhu where seeing Mahir crying this way, even when Anu left him he never showed his vulnerable side to anyone being very sensitive.. but now seeing Mahir in this condition they knew he loved Bela more than anything, may be even more than Anu.

"Bhai, don't worry.. I'll talk to Bela okay? She will understand Bhai.. she won't misunderstand you", Yuvi said assuring him

"It's not you or someone to talk now Yuvi, you where right.. it's high time we speak to eachother and I shall myself clear everything out.. can you just find out where Bela is right now?", Mahir asked

"Yes Bhai, I'll let you know.. you go and sleep for a while please", Yuvi requested

Mahir nodded as he felt his head breaking into pieces, he lied on his bed and sleep was far away when his thoughts where completely occupied with Bela's thoughts.

"Don't leave me Bela.. I really love you", Mahir mumbled before drifting to sleep

Bela was driving to her home when all she could see was Mahir holding there marrige photo with Anu and the fact that he still isn't over her was stabbing her heart breaking into pieces.

Her newly built hopes yet again got smashed leaving her with nothing. Her heart was not ready to let go of Mahir but knowing that his heart doesn't belong to her it hurt her even more.

"I'll never come into your life again Mahir.. we are better off this way only", Bela mumbled when her vision went blurry with continuous crying

She heart a horn sound and looked up to see a lorry coming it's way when she din't even realise when she came near the flyover and before she could even process what's happening, she got hit by the lorry making her left side of the car completely damaged while Bela lost her conscious hitting her head to the steering.

"Mahir", Bela whispered before closing her eyes

"Hello Bela", Yuvi said answering his call

"Sir, someone got into an accident and your number was last on the logs.. can you come to the hospital?", Asked the other person on the call

"Bela got into an accident?", Yuvi asked frightened

"Um yes sir, please hurry up", said the person and cut the call

"What happened to my Bela?", Mahir asked calmly listening to his words

"Bhai", Yuvi was scared

"What happened to her Yuvi?", Mahir asked when his eyes went moist

"She had an accident Bhai", Yuvi whispered enough for Mahir to stumble on his feet

Yuvi and Mahir reached the hospital and enquired about Bela.

"I'm the one who called you sir, she's just taken into the operation theatre.. I should take a leave", said the person going away

"It's all because of me, isn't it?", Mahir cried looking at Bela from the small glass window

"Bhai please don't blame yourself", Yuvi cried

"I can never life if something happens to Bela", Mahir said seeing so many iv's connected to her

Mahir looked away unable to see her in such condition and Yuvi informed Raghav who also rushed to the hospital.

He felt vulnerable seeing his only daughter on the hospital bed today, all he had was Bela all his life and he couldn't afford to loose her as well.

He looked at Mahir who was sitting infront of the god's idol silently praying for her well being.

Knowing about it, Sumi Andy Kuhu and Anu had also come and Sumi felt surprised seeing Mahir in such a devasted state.

Yuvi realised what his mother was thinking, and told them everything and Sumi cupped her mouth thinking how much her son had suffered so far.

"Mahir", Sumi whispered going to him

"Maa Bela.. I can't live without her mom", Mahir cried holding Sumi

"Shh Mahir, nothing will happen to Bela.. you see she'll be all fine in sometime", Sumi assured although she herself was worried about her wellbeing

They could see the nurse coming and going multiple times and couldn't understand what's going on with Bela but only hoped her to be all fine.

Hours passed and Vish, who was in the operation theatre with Bela came out and looked at everyone waiting for Bela.

"Vish.. how's Bela", Mahir asked noticing her

"Mahir first calm down.. sit here", Vish said making him sit on the bench

"She is fine right? She will come back to me right?", Mahir asked hopefully

"Bela is out of danger", Vish said much to everyone's relief

"But her right leg is fractured and her right hand is little injured, also she's hurt on her forehead.. nothing to worry, but she needs extreme care and preferred a bed rest also", Vish informed

"She will be fine right? I mean, they will not be any complications later?", Raghav asked

"No uncle she'll be fine if she take proper care now.. you don't worry, I'll personally take care of her", Vish said

"No, I'll take care of her.. I'll not leave her side until I'm sure she's fine", Mahir said determined

Everyone looked at him at the love he have for Bela but Raghav looked scared at what would happen now. He can assume Bela must have been lost in his thoughts only getting herself into this accident whereas he knew she always was so careful while driving.

Although he wanted to deny Mahir, he chose to not speak a word now coz how much ever he's angry on Mahir for making his daughter suffer so much.. he could clearly see the love for her in his eyes and actions.

"Can I meet her?", Mahir asked

"She is shifted to the ICU just now.. you will have to wait until she's shifted to the room Mahir, please wait for some time.. I'll inform you", Vish said

Mahir although was feeling desperate to meet Bela, still nodded waiting for her.

A while later Vish informed everyone that they can meet Bela but one at a time. Mahir immediately stood up to see her but stopped looking at Raghav, Raghav could see what Mahir was going through.

As much as Raghav was worried as a father, he saw Mahir was equally worried for Bela's wellbeing and knowing what situation both are in he din't wanted to restrict Mahir now.

He simply nodded at Mahir.. and giving a thanking smile to Raghav, Mahir went inside the room to meet Bela.

His heart ached seeing her sleeping silently and he was missing her continuously silly talks which always used to fill his ears.

"Wakeup soon Bela.. you don't look good like this", Mahir whispered softly caressing her cheek

"I'm sorry Bela, trust me baby I'll make everything right.. just don't leave me", Mahir mumbled taking her hand in his

He kept sobbing softly looking at her, he wanted to say so much to her.. tell her how much he loves her, let her know he can't wait to start a new life with her.

So far he pushed her away for his own fears, and now when he realised he was just hurting Bela by doing so and when he finally deciding to confess it to her.. this felt more shattering for him.

The mere though of something happening to Bela only killed him from within and he knew if not for Bela, he would be broken beyond repair this time.

He realised he was sitting with her for so long and even Raghav would want to see his daughter, so wiping his tears he softly placed a kiss of her forehead which is now covered with the plasters.

"I love you my love", Mahir whispered looking at her and slowly left the room

Seeing him come out Raghav rushed inside to see his princess while Mahir sat there waiting for Bela to gain her conscious.

Few hours later, Vish came to Mahir and the rest of them.

"She will gain her conscious by tomorrow morning, you all can leave for this night and come back tomorrow.. I can stay with Bela for the night", Vish said

"I'll stay with her Vish, please?", Mahir asked

"But Mahir it's really not needed, I'll anyhow be here and if there's anything I can take care of.. you don't have to worry about her", Vish said assuring

"I know she'll be fine, she have to.. but I just wanna be close to her, please Vish", Mahir requested

Vish looked at Yuvi who nodded his head knowing that his brother needs Bela and the assurance that she's fine infront his eyes.

Vish sighed nodding and Mahir gave a thanking smile to her.

"Uncle you also leave, you can come back tomorrow.. I'll inform you", Vish said to Raghav

"She's fine na Vish?", Raghav asked again

"She is all good Uncle, you don't worry.. I assure you", Vish said to which Raghav nodded

"Mahir, will you change your clothes and come back?", Sumi asked

"Um.. Yuvi, can you bring me a pair of clothes here?", Mahir asked not wanting to leave Bela even for a second

Yuvi nodded going while the rest left the place for the night, soon Yuvi came back with his clothes who quickly changed back.

"Don't worry Bhai.. Bela bhabhi will be fine", Yuvi said

"What did you say?", Mahir asked listening to him

"Bela bhabhi, isn't she?", Yuvi smiled

"She is", Mahir smiled thinking of there marrige

"She had become your bhabhi way long Yuvi, I hopefully can tell you all about it soon", Mahir thought

"You sure you will be okay right? Do you want me to stay back?", Yuvi asked

"We both will be fine.. you go and get me another pair of clothes tomorrow morning while coming", Mahir said

Yuvi nodded and left the place not before meeting Vish for once.

Vish came to check on Bela for once and assuring Mahir that she's doing good so far, she too left while Mahir was sitting with Bela alone.

He sat on his small bed given to him, and kept looking at her until sleep engulfed him.

Next morning, Mahir wokeup quite early unable to sleep with the constant thoughts of Bela's wellbeing.

He looked at Bela who's still not awake and looked around scared thinking of Vish's words when she clearly said Bela will be up this morning.

He went out searching for someone but since he couldn't find many people except for a few nurses, he quickly picked his phone calling Vish who answered in the second ring.

"What happened Mahir, is everything alright?", Vish asked worried

"Vish, you said Bela will be up by this morning.. she's still not waking up, will you please come soon?", Mahir asked worried

Vish blinked her eyes feeling how much Mahir is in love with Bela and smiled feeling happy for her best friend.

"Mahir don't worry, morning means I haven't meant early morning or any specific timing.. she can gain conscious any time in a few hours", Vish said

"Oh okay, I'm sorry if I disturbed you", Mahir apologized

"That's okay, I'm already up and will be there soon.. you eat something meanwhile", Vish said to which Mahir hummed

He looked at Bela, he couldn't see her in this hospital gown.. that was making him still feel weak and wished for Bela to be fine super soon.

Soon everyone came to the hospital to see Bela, and that's when Bela was slowly blinking her eyes which was noticed by Mahir.

"Vish, she's.. she's trying to open her eyes?", Mahir said more like a question

Vish went towards Bela and Bela slowly opened her eyes adjusting to the lighting and Vish checked on her with another doctor accompanying her.

"She's perfectly alright, like I said it's preferred to have a complete bedrest for two to three weeks depending on how fast she's healing.. rest is all good, nothing to worry", Vish informed everyone

Mahir sighed in relief, and Bela's eyes slowly went towards Mahir when she remembered everything she saw the previous day.

She blinked her eyes rapidly not wanting to cry infront of everything which was noticed by Mahir but choose to talk about it once Bela gets completely fine.

"Can we take her home beta?", Raghav asked

"Not now uncle.. she should actually stay for another day, but I can allow you to take her today evening provided a nurse will accompany to take care of her for a few days atleast", Vish said and Raghav nodded

Everyone slowly went towards Bela one by one making sure she isn't feeling uncomfortable but Bela's eyes constantly moved towards Mahir who stood at the corner of the room staring at her as if trying to peep into her soul.

"Won't you talk to her?", Vish asked seeing him stand to aside

"She might not like it now.. may be I can talk once she's completely alright?", Mahir almost whispered

"She'll be all fine when she hears those three words from you Mahir", Vish smiled leaving the room

Mahir looked back at Bela who was already looking at him but averted her gaze the moment she met his eyes. He let out a small laugh seeing her cute expressions after so long making his heart go in a little peace.

"Damn, I see you smile after so many days", Yuvi said smiling at him

"And I'll always be smiling if I have her by my side", Mahir said smiling

"You will Bhai", Yuvi smiled back

Soon it was evening when Raghav completed the formalities for the discharge.

"I'll call the wheelchair, wait", Vish said

When they din't find any wheelchair even after a couple of minutes, Mahir stepped forward circling his arm very securely around Bela's waist and before Bela could know what was happening she was lifted in his arms while her arms reached his shoulder.

"Mahir", Bela whispered at his act

She closed her eyes feeling his touch on her waist while Mahir kept looking at her feeling complete having her in his arms.
