Next day, Bela came back home early to have her space still trying to grasp the new information which was enough to break her heart.

She din't know if Mahir was cheating her when he's already married to Anu, or was cheating Anu being a married man. And for the fact that she knows Mahir isn't such type of guy, she just couldn't understand what's happening in her life.

But, whatever she decided to stay away from Mahir for her own good.. atleast after she got to know that he's married, already married and there marriage wouldn't even be considered.

"Bela", she heard Raghav call her

"Coming dad", Bela shouted from her room going downstairs

"Bela get a little ready, Andy and Sumitra are coming home along with the kids", Raghav informed

"What?", Bela yelled

"I know Bela, you just stay for a while and leave if you ar'nt comfortable", Raghav suggested

Bela just nodded thinking something while Raghav approached her knowing what's going in her mind.

"Bela, your problem is with Mahir alone and I know you love the rest of the family and wouldn't want to avoid them.. don't let your love for Mahir ruin your relationship with the rest of them", Raghav said

"Yes dad I know, you don't worry", Bela assured him with a smile

Raghav gave a small smile going to the kitchen while Bela reached her room sitting on her bed.

She picked her phone seeing his pictures and suddenly remembered everything specially knowing about Anu, she deleted all his pictures in her phone in a go.

"This is so wrong that I'm in love with a married man", Bela couldn't help but cry

She wiped her tears determined to get over him and move on in her life without Mahir.

She's knows it's difficult, but may be not impossible!

She wiped her tears and got ready quickly looking presentable and came downstairs when just then the Sehgal's have reached there place.

"Hi Aunty", Bela said hugging Sumi

"I missed you already Bela", Sumi smiled

Bela laughed and greeted the others except Mahir which was although expected.

Unlike the other days, neither Yuvi nor Kuhu could speak to Bela knowing that she now knows about Anu and assumes them to be still in a relation.

"Bela..", Yuvi tried to speak when Raghav spoke

"Come Andy, let's first eat.. I don't know about others, by my daughter atleast can't stay with hunger for long", Raghav laughed along with the others

All of them settled down for dinner while Mahir's eyes where stuck on Bela all the while, he wanted to clear out the misunderstandings and apologize for his behaviour the other day when he hurt her so badly.

The elders where engrossed in there talks while the rest stayed quite the whole time for the situation they are stuck in.

Yuvi just then received a call and sighed when it's from Anu.

"Yeah Bhabhi", Yuvi said slowly

"Did you clear it to Bela?", Anu asked

"Not yet, we didn't get a chance.. I'll try to tell her after the dinner", Yuvi said

"You ar'nt coming home unless you tell her that I and Mahir are divorced and are no longer in a relationship.. she has to know that Mahir's feelings and actions so far are genuine for her", Anu said

"Yeah I know, you don't worry Bhabhi.. I'll let her know about it", Yuvi assured

He cut the call and looked at Bela who's not even looking up her plate while Mahir was continuously looking at her not even averting his gaze.

Once they are done with eating, everyone settled in the living room, Bela sat in between Yuvi and Kuhu.

Yuvi thought it's the right moment to clear it with Bela but before he could speak a word she received a call.

"Yeah I'm coming right now", Bela said in the call

"What is it Bela?", Raghav asked

"There's some emergency Dad, I have to go now", Bela said getting up from his place

Raghav nodded knowing about her profession, and Bela quickly went to her room and let her tears out which she was holding for so long.

She couldn't hold back seeing Mahir again, she cupped her mouth suppressing her sobs.

She heard a knock at the door and wiped her tears turning around and found Mahir. She pressed her lips looking at him and her body went stiff when Mahir took steps towards her.

"Bela", Mahir whispered

"I have an emergency, I gotta go", Bela said not meeting his eyes

"Just a minute Bela.. please, I'm sorry", Mahir said softly taking her hand in his

Bela immediately took her hands back getting affected by that mere touch of his.. she decided to stay away from him, and she has to do it!

It would be a lie if Mahir din't feel hurt by her actions.. the moment she took her hands back it felt as if he lost her forever.

He remembered the day when Anu asked him for divorce and his eyes welled up even thinking of what to do if he looses Bela also in his life.

"I have something to tell you Mahir", Anu spoke after a while when Mahir was back home from his office

"What is it Anu?", Mahir asked keeping his laptop aside

"You have some work now?", Anu asked

"Nope, just sending some mails.. nothing else, you tell what is it?", Mahir asked softly

"Mahir.. I.. I don't feel the same", Anu said

"In the sence?", Mahir asked confused

"I don't feel the same with you anymore Mahir", Anu said not looking at him

"Means?", Mahir asked frowning at her words

"I don't know Mahir, what I felt with you initially.. I'm not able to feel that now", Anu said

"You mean, I'm not taking care of you well?", Mahir asked slowly

"No, I din't mean that.. it's just that, may be I lost the feel between us?", Anu said more like a question

"You mean to say you don't love me anymore?", Mahir asked furiously getting up from his place

"I din't say I don't love you anymore Mahir, I do love you.. but maybe not like before", Anu said not meeting his eyes

"Is it my fault Anu?", Mahir asked when tears formed his eyes

"No Mahir, it's not your fault.. but I don't know why I'm feeling this way, I feel some void Mahir.. it's not that I'm unhappy or something, I'm happy with you.. with this family. But there's something I feel is missing between us.. it's been two years we got married and I don't know what changed with time", Anu confessed

"Anu, I really love you baby.. we can work it out together okay?", Mahir asked

"Can we Mahir? We do spend time with eachother, but doesn't feel like I'm speaking to my patner.. we do have moments now and then, but still I don't know why I'm feeling this way", Anu said

"What else do you want Anu? I give you everything even before you ask for it.. I make sure to give you enough time even when I'm busy with my work.. I take you out every two weeks making sure you are happy.. what more you want me to do Any?", Mahir yelled

"Mahir please, I know you are best husband one can get.. I'm never pointing out on that, it's just that I don't feel the same now.. I love you, but may be not the same as before", Anu said

"So what do you wanna do about it Anu? Leave me? Just coz your love for me reduced you are planning to divorce me or what?", Mahir roared in pain

"I din't say that Mahir", Anu whispered slowly hurt by his words

"Then what is it you wanna tell me Anu?", Mahir asked

"Stop shouting Mahir, can we just talk softly?", Anu asked

"What do you want me to do then.. huh? You say you don't love me the same anymore and expect me to stay all calm?", Mahir asked

"Stop it Mahir, your yells doesn't make anything right.. get that first?", Anu shouted back

"Oh so what makes things right huh?", Mahir asked

"Mahir please, listen to me", Anu requested

"I have all my ears Anu, tell", Mahir said looking into her eyes

Anu tried to speak but couldn't form any words and sat on the bed defeated.

"What happened Anu? Not getting words to speak?", Mahir asked more like a taunt

"You are gonna leave me right?", Mahir asked after a pause fearing of her decision

The mere though of Anu leaving him only was choking him to death already, he din't know where this discussion is going to lead to.

"I din't say that Mahir", Anu snapped

"Then what is it now?", Mahir asked

Anu stayed quite thinking of all this again, she din't know if she was wrong thinking this way but honestly she wasn't feeling the same love from Mahir or isn't feeling the same emotion in there relationship.

She isn't someone who would adjust on anything, be it materialistic things or any relationships so decided to voice it out to Mahir but feared where this is leading to.

She is happy being his wife, but couldn't understand what's bothering her.. and being someone born and raised with a lot of pampering couldn't withstand this unknown discomfort within her.

"Let's get divorced Mahir", Anu spoke leaving Mahir shocked

Anu din't know why she din't wanted to stay in this marriage anymore, while her mind says she still loves Mahir.. her heart isn't letting her stay peacefully.. may be in a hurry or without proper thinking, she decided to part ways with Mahir.

Mahir couldn't speak a word the moment Anu left those words.. he couldn't believe she actually wants to leave him which he couldn't let it happen.

"Anu.. you really want to leave me?", Mahir whispered

"Yes Mahir, it's better for both of us", Anu said

"It's not.. it's not Anu! I love you and it's anything but better for me to leave you", Mahir shouted

"Don't shout Mahir, I have decided I wanna divorce you.. this.. this isn't working somehow", Anu said

"Anu, baby.. we are happy ar'nt we? We where all good till yesterday, what just changed overnight?", Mahir asked kneeling infront of her on his knees

"It's not overnight Mahir, I have been feeling this way from quite a while now", Anu said

"We can work it out Anu, I'm ready to do anything for you to feel the same again.. but please don't leave me Anu", Mahir begged

"I don't know Mahir, I don't think this would work out.. let's just part ways on a good note", Anu said looking aside

"Divorce my foot, I'm not giving you any divorce get that Anu.. you are mine, my wife and I'm not letting you go", Mahir declared

"I want a divorce Mahir, you think whatever you want.. I'll make sure to get a divorce from you", Anu said determined not knowing how much her words are affecting him

"Anu", Mahir whispered

"We are getting divorced Mahir, that's it", Anu said rushing to the washroom

Mahir fell back on the bed fisting his hair thinking how everything changed in just a few minutes!

"Where did I go wrong Anu?", Mahir mumbled to himself when hot tears left eyes

Mahir and Anu haven't spoke to the other for a couple of days and Mahir thought may be Anu is all good now and thought to give her space for a while and could clear out all the misunderstanding but all his hopes went in air when Anu placed the divorce papers on the table.

She had already decided to do this and even informed his and her family who ofcourse tried to convince her to rethink about her decision but she was hell bent about not compromising with her feelings.

"You really want this Anu?", Mahir asked seeing the divorce papers

Anu nodded her head and feeling defeated, Mahir took the pen and signed it only for her happiness.

"Happy?", Mahir smiled sadly

Anu stayed silent and although left him that day, she couldn't leave his heart and mind.

Sumi and the rest of them respected there privacy not interfering although everyone where against her decision. They where worried seeing Mahir's condition ever since Anu left.. he completely isolated him drowning in the name of work and would hardly come home.

Even after years he still din't know why Anu left him, but only blamed him for not being able to be a good husband to Anu.

He hated the concept of marriage, he never wanted to marry again when Sumi tried to ask him because he believed he is not fit to be husband and chose to be this way only.

Sumi missed her son who was no where to be seen now, the Mahir she sees now is not how he used to be before..

Whereas Anu always regretted leaving Mahir, but din't know how to face him again after all she did out of foolishness according to her.

"Mahir", Bela called seeing him zoned out

"Um.. I'm sorry Bela, please don't be mad at me for that day", Mahir requested

"I'm not", Bela said picking her bag

"Bela, I'm really sorry.. I.. I honestly din't mean anything I said that day, I swear Bela", Mahir begged her

"I'm not angry on you Mahir.. so please move, I have to leave", Bela said moving ahead of him

Mahir stayed quite when she walked quickly to the living room, Bela bid bye to everyone and left the place while Mahir sighed in defeat.

He din't want to accept his relationship with Bela coz he believed he can never make Bela happy and he never want to hurt Bela.. but in this process he din't realise how many times he's hurting her.

Yuvi and Kuhu rushed outside before Bela leaves to clear out about Mahir's divorce.

"Bela wait", Yuvi shouted going to her

"I have to tell you something", Yuvi said

"I have to leave Yuvi, it's an emergency", Bela said opening her car door

"Bela I have to tell you about Mahir Bhai.. just a minute Bela please", Yuvi requested

"Why should I listen something about him Yuvi? What would I do knowing anything about him?", Bela snapped to Yuvi's surprise

"Bela I meant..", Yuvi was saying when Bela interrupted

"I don't think I have to know anything about your brother Yuvi, and I'm running late so please", Bela said sitting inside her car

Without even looking at any of them, Bela left to her hospital while Yuvi and Kuhu where surprised seeing her speak this way.

They knew she was hurt beyond what they expected and decided to deal with it later.

Bela reached her hospital and went inside, the nurse who saw came near her suprised to see her at this time.

"Bela mam, you here at this time?", Nurse asked

"Um yeah, I had to take some file.. you go", Bela said going to her cabin

She sighed as there was no emergency at the hospital but it was Vish who called her as Bela asked her to, only because she couldn't stay calm when her only love is around her knowing the fact she can never get him, Mahir!
