"Mahir Bhai", Yuvi shouted on the call

"Why are you shouting Yuvi? Seems like you learnt it from someone", Mahir asked thinking of Bela

"Yes, and that person is not unable to talk also", Yuvi said

"Huh, what?", Mahir asked confused

"Bela is down with fever Bhai, where do you keep the medicines?", Yuvi asked

"What? Bela is having fever?", Mahir yelled from the other side

"Bhai now you stop shouting and tell me where are the medicines in your room", Yuvi asked

"Umm yeah, my cubord right drawer", Mahir said

"Umm yap got it, bye Bhai", Yuvi said

"Yuvi wait.. how's she?", Mahir asked

"Wait, I'll show you", Yuvi said

Yuvi called Kuhu and handing the phone to her and switched the call to a video call and went to Bela's room and Mahir saw her lying on the bed completely covered with the sheets till her neck.

"Bela", Mahir whispered looking at her

"Bela get up, have this", Yuvi tapped Bela

"Let me sleep Yuvi", Bela tossed around

"Bela just take this table and sleep, please sweetheart", Yuvi said

Bela slowly got up and took the tablet and started coughing.

"Bela carefull", Mahir yelled

Bela looked up and coughed more looking at Mahir.

"You okay now?", Yuvi asked sitting next to her

"Mahir?", Bela whisper looking at the phone screen

"What happened to you? Yuvi take her to the hospital", Mahir said

"I'm fine Mahir, a day rest and I'll be fine", Bela smiled softly

"Yuvi take her to the hospital", Mahir yelled

Bela scrunched her nose at his pitch and lied back on her bed being tired.

"Yuvi what's her temperature?", Mahir asked

"103", Yuvi said checking her temperature

Mahir rubbed his temples and cut the call.

"Bela, we should go to the doctor", Yuvi said

"I'm fine Yuvi, this is just icecream and rain showing affect", Bela sneezed

"You ate icecream last night when it was raining?", Kuhu asked

Bela slowly nodded her head smiling sheepishly.

"Oh god, you are crazy Bela.. I'm calling the doctor", Yuvi said

"No Yuvi, even I'm a doctor.. I'm telling na, I'll be fine by tomorrow okay?", Bela gave a small smile

It was almost evening when Bela was sleeping soundlessly clutching the sheets tightly while her room door opened ajar.

"Bela", came a soft whisper

Bela frowned in sleep slowly opening her eyes and her eyes widen in surprise seeing Mahir infront of her.

"Mahir?", Bela whispered trying to sit

"Sit back Bela, I'm right here", Mahir said bending on his knees.

"You came back?", Bela asked

"How are you now?", Mahir asked

"You where supposed to come tomorrow night, you came for me?", Bela asked with moist eyes

"You are feeling tired?", Mahir asked checking her temperature

"You are ignoring my words", Bela sniffed pouting

"Okay.. I'm back, and yes I was supposed to come tomorrow but I came right away for you", Mahir admitted

"Why?", Bela asked looking at him with her doe eyes

"Coz I couldn't stay back when I knew you ar'nt feeling good", Mahir confessed

"But your work? I'm sorry", Bela looked guilty

"Shh why do you have to always speak so much.. stay quite atleast now", Mahir said caressing her hair

"Wait, I'll come", Mahir said going away

"I love you Mahir, and you are making me fall for you even harder with every passing day and I don't know where our relation will lead to", Bela thought thinking of Mahir

Mahir comes back with a bowl of water and a cloth and sits next to her.

"I remember my mom used to do that", Bela smiled

"Your dad?", Bela asked

"He doesn't know how to do, but I do it for him", Bela laughed

Mahir smiled at her and dipping the cloth in the water, kept it on her forehead softly.

Bela looked at him in awe thinking how this man once she thought was a emotionless and ruthless bussiness man is now taking care of her like his own child.

"Thank Mahir", Bela whispered

Mahir just looked at her continuing his work and Bela slowly drifted to sleep.

Time passed and it was already dinner time when Yuvi came to Bela's room, he looked at Mahir who was sleeping sitting next to Bela.

"Bhai", Yuvi called tapping him

Mahir wokeup looking at Yuvi, he looked at Bela checking her temperature and sighed as it dropped down.

"When did you come Bhai?", Yuvi asked

"A couple of hours back", Mahir said

"For Bela?", Yuvi asked smiling

Mahir din't answer and Yuvi smiled at his silence.

"Come have dinner Bhai, Mom Dad ar'nt home.. it's just we four", Yuvi said

"Where did they go?", Mahir asked

"Some wedding", Yuvi shrugged

"Bela din't eat anything", Mahir said

"Don't worry, me and Kuhu where cooking till now.. it's sorted", Yuvi smiled

"You both?", Mahir asked surprised

"Chill Bhai, Kuhu actually learnt to cook.. don't know when Bela taught her though", Yuvi said

Mahir looked at Bela, he knows she's the best cook so unlike everytime when he used to be scared of Kuhu's cooking.. today he had the confidence that it would be best.

"You come and eat Bhai, meanwhile when Bela wakeup we can feed her", Yuvi said

Mahir nodded going down while Kuhu just served for the three.

"Come Bhai, I'm sure it will be tasty today", Kuhu grinned wide

Mahir smiled back settling next to Yuvi and Kuhu excitedly sat opposite to them.

"You made kichidi?", Mahir asked

"Yuvi Bhai asked to make it for Bela Di.. and I was lazy to make something else for us, so this is it", Kuhu shrugged

Mahir tasted and true to his expectations it tasted much better than his previous experiences with Kuhu.

"That's a lot better than before Kuhu, that's great", Mahir smiled at her

"Thanks Bhai, all thanks to Bela Di only.. she used to teach me on Sunday's", Kuhu smiled

"You guys are eating without me?", Bela asked standing near the stairs

Mahir looked at her in disbelief thinking why she can't stay at a single place atleast when she's sick.

"Who asked you to come down Bela, can't you take proper rest?", Mahir asked annoyed moving towards her

"Don't be silly Mahir, I was sleeping the whole day and I feel much better now.. lemmi join you guys", Bela said coming down

"Slow", Mahir held her hand

"I just have little fever Mahir, or may be little cold to it.. you are behaving like I'm bed ridden", Bela frowned

Mahir rolled his eyes helping her sit next to Kuhu.

"Di come, I only prepared dinner today.. lemmi serve you", Kuhu said serving her excited

"You? Where is Sumi Aunty?", Bela asked

"Mom Dad went to some Wedding Bela.. so Kuhu cooked", Yuvi said

"I'm sorry Kuhu baby, you guys would have ordered if i wasn't sick right?", Bela asked

"Arre no Di, I was indeed excited to cook for you.. come taste and tell me how's it", Kuhu asked

Bela smiled seeing her excitement and tasted giving a bright smile back.

"That's awesome, you did a great job", Bela said side hugging Kuhu

Kuhu smiled and and everyone continued eating.

"Come I'll take you to your room", Mahir said to Bela post there dinner

"Bela, you din't eat much only", Yuvi complained

"That's okay Yuvi, don't force her.. if she's hungry I'll give her something later", Mahir said

Yuvi nodded and Bela went to her room along with Mahir.

"By the way, why did you get fever? You ate something?", Mahir asked

"Um no, absolutely not", Bela looked aside

Mahir caught her biting her lips and turned her face facing him.

"Truth Bela, tell the truth", Mahir demanded

"One icecream", Bela said

"You got fever just for one icecream? It's not like you never ate an icecream right?", Mahir asked

"It was raining last night", Bela said looking down

"And you still wanted to eat?", Mahir asked in disbelief

"Mahir, eating an icecream in rain is just awesome.. you should try once", Bela smiled

"You know you are weird? People tend to eat something hot and spicy when it's raining", Mahir said

"I love that also, this also.. basically having some tasty food in rain is what I want", Bela said

"And then get fever and stay in bed like this", Mahir snapped

"Don't sound like my neighbour Aunty Mahir, she's annoying", Bela rolled her eyes

"When is Raghav Uncle coming back?", Mahir asked

Bela gulped thinking what to answer, she had asked Raghav to stay there for a month more just coz she wanted to be close to Mahir for a few more days and now she was blank to his question.

What if Mahir is thinking that how long she's gonna stay at there house? Or may be thinking that she's being a burden in there life's intruding there personal space.

"What are you thinking? I asked a simple question", Mahir asked

"You want to me go?", Bela asked

"I din't say that", Mahir scrunched his nose

"Then?", Bela pouted

"I just asked casually Bela, why would I want you to go? I would rather choose to keep you with me always", Mahir blurted out checking some medicines

Bela blushed at his words while Mahir din't know why he's making himself getting embarrassed again and again.

"I.. I mean..", Mahir was trying to say but Bela interrupted

"I like when you speak your heart with me Mahir", Bela said softly

Mahir just looked at her finding a kind of satisfaction in her eyes, he just let it be giving her the tablet.

"You have this and sleep, you will mostly be alright by tomorrow", Mahir said

"You also sleep, you have been here with me since long.. take rest Mahir", Bela said taking her tablet

"I'm fine, you don't think of anything and sleep", Mahir said

"Stay with me Mahir", Bela whispered

"I mean.. untill I fall asleep?", Bela asked

"I'm right here okay? Sleep", Mahir said making her lie down

Bela smiled lying down and soon drifted of sleep due to the medicines affect.

Hours later Bela tossed around opening her eyes and found Mahir sleeping sitting next to her, she felt guilty for asking him to stay as now she din't let him have a peaceful sleep as well.

"Mahir", Bela called him

"Hm", Mahir mumbled in sleep

"Mahir, wakeup", Bela said

Mahir opened his eyes and sat straight seeing Bela awake.

"What happened Bela? Are you alright, you need something?", Mahir asked

"I'm fine Mahir, I'm just hungry", Bela said

"Oh, wait.. I'll get you something", Mahir said going downstairs

He served neatly and came back to her room and found her shivering.

"You are feeling cold?", Mahir asked

"Kind of, can you bring me another quilt?", Bela asked

"Sure, wait", Mahir said keeping the plate aside

He went to his room bring another quilt for Bela to cover and took the plate in his hand sitting next to her.

"I din't find any spoon, come", Mahir said forwarding his hand trying to feed her

Bela looked at him surprised with his act, she din't know how to react the moment Mahir was trying to feed her himself.

"You will feed me?", Bela asked

"You don't want me to?", Mahir asked

"I would love to", Bela smiled eating from his hand

Mahir smiled back and continued feeding her, the small contact of his fingers with her lips also made him feel solace within.

"You need more?", Mahir asked wiping her lips

"No, thank you Mahir", Bela smiled

Mahir nodded going and came back keeping the plate back in the kitchen.

"Now sleep, come", Mahir said patting the bed

Bela smiled and slowly lied down.

"Mahir, you go to your room or sleep properly here.. you will have a neck pain otherwise", Bela said

"I'm fine Bela, you sleep", Mahir said

"No Mahir, you also lie down and sleep.. this bed is big enough for two", Bela said

"You sure?", Mahir asked

"Ofcourse, more than sure.. come sleep", Bela said tapping on his side

Mahir reluctantly lied next to her.. not that he doesn't to sleep in her room, but he couldn't trust himself around her when his harmones seems to go ola-la when she's with him.

"Good Night Mahir", Bela said closing her eyes

Mahir smiled seeing Bela's peaceful cute face while asleep and looking at her even Mahir fell asleep next to her.

Sunrays slowly made its way through the window disturbing Bela's sleep. She tried to turn but couldn't feeling a weight on her waist, she slowly opened her eyes only to make her morning the best.

She saw Mahir sleeping next to her clutching her waist in his arm while the both are quite close to eachother where there's only a little gap between them.

Bela breathed heavy finding Mahir so close to her almost making her breath hitch at this little proximity.

She looked at him observing his cute pout.. she couldn't help but slowly move her hand and softly caressed his lips supressing her laughter.

"He has such cute pink lips.. just like a baby", Bela thought observing them closely

"And these lips are all mine", Bela smirked at herself

Mahir slowly moved in sleep and Bela quickly closed her eyes acting asleep while Mahir opened his eyes looking at Bela.

Unlike Bela, he wasn't surprised seeing Bela this close to him as he was the one who wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her towards him in the middle of the night.

He was so sure she wouldn't wake-up before him, he always finds her waist the most sexiest part and he couldn't hold himself from claiming it.

"Why are you so cute Bela.. that you always make me do things I have never imagined to do", Mahir mumbled looking at her face

Bela smiled internally as Mahir thought she was asleep while Bela is wide awake listening to his confessions.

Mahir checked her temperature and relaxed finding it normal, he smiled before getting up from the bed.

Bela opened her eyes but quickly closed back seeing Mahir stop his way.

Mahir turned around coming towards Bela, and bending to her height placed a lingering kiss on her forehead caressing her messy hair.

He smiled looking at her for one last time and left to his room while Bela felt her heart dancing feeling his lips on her skin.

She softly touched her forehead smiling thinking of him, she din't know what to do to save her marriage which is anything but a mistake for her and day by day she was more sure that Mahir do feel for her like the way Bela feels for him.

Thinking to come up with something soon, she got up doing her daily chores. She looked at Mahir's photos in her phone and kissed the screen with a wide smile which she always carries if it's about Mahir.

"I love you Mahir, way too much that you wouldn't be able to handle", Bela laughed thinking of him
