Mahir felt more embarrassed the moment he saw Yuvi at the door, Yuvi looked at him scared of how Mahir would react now but the moment he looked at Bela he felt more scared seeing her glare at him with a frown.

He din't know what happened but looking at Mahir's flushed face and Bela's angry glares at him he knew something had happened and he now spoiled it.

Bela moved out pushing Yuvi and looked at Mahir.

"You change back and come", Bela said closing the door

Once Mahir locked the door without uttering a word, Bela turned towards Yuvi who seem to escape.

"Yuvi", Bela called

"Haan, hi Bela", Yuvi smiled awkwardly

"What did I tell you, and what did you do?", Bela frowned

"What.. what happened?", Yuvi asked slowly

Kuhu and Vish were controlling there best not to laugh looking at Yuvi.

"I asked you not to open for atleast ten minutes Yuvi, it's just eight minutes.. you don't know how those two minutes are valuable for me", Bela fummed sitting aside

"What happened Bela, where you guys like.. you know", Yuvi smirked

"Don't even ask when you ruined it", Bela glared

"Ok ok my bad, don't worry.. I'll lock you both again", Yuvi said in a flow

"Really?", Bela grinned wide while the three laughed hard

"What happened?", Bela pouted

"Just felt it funny how you wanted to get locked", Vish laughed

"It isn't funny, I wanna get locked with Mahir.. it has to romantic, isn't it?", Bela asked

"Bela, ar'nt you being a little too open nowadays?", Vish asked to which Bela rolled her eyes

"Let's go, what's the use of coming out", Bela said

"Wait, what do you mean what's the use? It's like you came for him", Yuvi asked

"Ofcourse, why do you think I'll ask you all to come out leaving all my patients there which I never did", Bela asked

"For Bhai?", Yuvi asked to which Bela nodded looking aside

"But how do you know Mahir Bhai also would come along?", Kuhu asked

"I just felt and he did", Bela blushed

"Bela, you love him.. don't you?", Vish asked

"Don't ask Vish, I don't wanna answer that", Bela shrugged

"It's okay, I got my answer", Vish smirked

Although Bela knew they got to know her feelings for him, she wants to confess it first to Mahir only so din't want to tell it herself to anyone prior to it.

Yuvi smiled wide and hugged Bela thinking of Mahir, he always saw some unsaid chemistry between the two and always wished for Bela to come into Mahir's life replacing a few incidents into beautiful ones.

"I love you Bela, thank you", Yuvi said while Vish and Kuhu smiled

"Yuvi", Mahir yelled

"Ah sorry Bhai", Yuvi backed off seeing Mahir glare at him

Mahir looked at Bela and found her smirking at him, and a sudden wave of all that happened a few minutes ago travelled in front there eyes.

Mahir's eyes fell on Bela's lips, and noticing his gaze Bela bit her lips thinking of all that yet again.

A couple of days passed in a blink and one such night everyone came down for dinner while Mahir noticed Bela wasn't there.

"Where is she?", Mahir asked

"Who Bhai?", Yuvi smirked

Mahir glared at Yuvi and Yuvi gulped deciding not to mess up now.

"Bela, Bela right?", Yuvi asked to which Mahir gave a tid nod

"Bela Di is caught up with an emergency, so she said she will be late", Kuhu said

Mahir just nodded settling down. A couple of hours passed by and Mahir went out realising Bela is still not home.

He picked his car keys going to her hospital. He went directly to the reception asking about her.

"She's in the operation theatre sir", The receptionist informed

Mahir nodded sitting there waiting for Bela. He saw the time and it was already 10:30 and a few minutes later he saw Bela coming out taking her gloves from her hands.

She looked up at Mahir and was shocked to see him there.

"Hey, what are you doing here?", Bela asked

"What are you doing this late?", Mahir asked

"Wait, I'll just come", Bela said going away

"What a royal ignorance", Mahir rolled his eyes

Bela came back in a few minutes and Mahir moved towards her.

"What made you wait so long Bela?", Mahir asked

"You better lower your voice Mahir, this is a hospital not your office", Bela rolled her eyes

"My office is always silent", Mahir answered

"Yeah, it's only noisy when you keep shouting like this", Bela said

"And din't anyone inform you that I had an emergency?", Bela asked after a pause

"Kuhu did, but this long?", Mahir asked

"Okay, so next time when a baby is ready to come out I'll tell them to knock an hour before so that everyone will be ready.. okay?", Bela asked

"Wh.. what do you mean?", Mahir asked confused

"I'm a gynecologist Mahir, any other cases can be postponed but not a delivery.. and that is called an emergency", Bela said

"Fine, but you should have informed me at what time you will be home", Mahir said

"It's not a Maggie that I know it takes five to ten minutes to be done.. how do you think I'll know prior that how much time it takes?", Bela glared at him

"Fine", Mahir shrugged

"Now come", Mahir said

"Yeah wait, I'll take a few minutes more.. you go home", Bela said

"Oh wait wait, why did you come in the first place?", Bela asked curiously

Mahir gulped not knowing what to answer, he just couldn't stay back when Bela is still not home at that hour of time and without a second thought he just drove here.

"It's okay, I know why", Bela said going away

"What does she know?", Mahir wondered

Bela came after a few and Mahir followed her to the parking.

"Let's go together", Mahir said

"But I have my car", Bela replied

"It's okay, you can take it tomorrow", Mahir said

"Okay, in that case you are gonna drop me tomorrow", Bela said

"Why should I?", Mahir asked

"Coz I won't have my car tomorrow morning, and you gotta drop me here", Bela said

"Okay fine, I'll drop.. now will you come?", Mahir asked

"Sure", Bela grinned wide

They say in the car and Mahir started driving to Sehgal Mansion.

"Mahir", Bela called softly

"Yeah", Mahir said

"What do you think about me?", Bela asked looking at him

Mahir almost freezed the moment she asked that, he thinks and feels a lot about her but he can no way tell it to her.

"Why Bela?", Mahir asked

"I wanna know Mahir, just like that.. tell na", Bela asked again

"Nothing", Mahir said

"As in, you feel nothing?", Bela asked

"Yes", Mahir said

"Then why do you care so much Mahir? This much care doesn't come when there's nothing", Bela said softly

Mahir stayed quite not knowing what to answer, he could understand why Bela is asking all this but he din't want any of it.

"What do you think of me Bela?", Mahir asked

"And why do you wanna know?", Bela asked

"Same reason may be", Mahir said

"I like you Mahir, I really love spending time with you.. although you have a good amount of anger issues, I like that as well", Bela said looking down

Mahir looked at her and found her lost in her thoughts, he felt sad for putting Bela in such a situation.. only if he was careful, he thought she wouldn't have been going through all this as his wife.

"Bela", Mahir called softly

"Hmm", Bela looked at him

"You will just get hurt in the end", Mahir whispered

"But I really wanna give us a chance Mahir, I don't wanna just forget what happened and act like nothing happened at all", Bela said

Mahir stayed silent unable to answer her back, despite her words and his feelings he's stuck on the same thing and don't want to have any such relation with Bela nor anyone for that matter.

Bela's face fell seeing him go silent, but she din't wanna fall weak.. if Mahir is stubborn to say the same again and again then even Bela was hell bent to atleast know the reason behind his words.

She just saw how he came for her just coz it's late and she was pretty sure that Mahir does care for her which she have seen multiple times so far and yet she doesn't know why he keeps denying it even when Bela speaks up openly about there marrige.

They soon reached home and both went inside only to find Yuvi and Kuhu sitting in the living room as if waiting for them.

"You are still awake Yuvi? You usually sleep early right?", Bela asked

"Yeah, but you see not just my big brother.. this younger brother is also concerned for you, right Kuhu?", Yuvi smirked

Mahir glared at Yuvi understanding what he's trying to say and without a word went to his room while Bela just smiled looking at his regarding figure.

"Enjoyed?", Yuvi winked

"I wish I did", Bela yawned going to her room

"It doesn't seem a good conversation Bhai", Kuhu said

"Doesn't seem a bad conversation either Kuhu", Yuvi answered looking at Bela

"Good Morning Baby", Raghav spoke on the call

"Good Morning Papa", Bela smiled through the video call

"I'm coming this weekend", Raghav said exited

"What?", Bela shouted

"What happened Bela? I thought you will be happy", Raghav said

"Dad you stay there for a few more days", Bela said straight

"Wow, and here I thought you are missing me", Raghav pouted

"I'm missing you dad, everytime.. but..", Bela stopped not knowing what to say

"But what Bela", Raghav asked

"There's something I gotta finish Dad, you stay there for a month more.. I'll tell you everything once you are back, okay?", Bela asked

"A month more? It's already 1 month 20 days I left you there Bela", Raghav said

"You are counting Papa?", Bela asked wondering

"Yeah, I have never stayed away from you na", Raghav smiled

"I love you dad, and I'm missing you as well.. but I can't really tell you now, just stay there for a month more na.. I promise it will sorted", Bela tried to convince

"Are you okay there Bela?", Raghav asked worried

"I'm perfectly fine Dad, you don't have to worry.. if there's anything I'll let you know", Bela assured

"Okay, I'm gonna stay here only for you.. I'll talk to Andy", Raghav said

"Thanks dad, I'm sure you will be happy after knowing.. okay, now I gotta rush bye bye", Bela said cutting the call

She smiled thinking of Mahir, now she have a month time to change Mahir's thoughts.. if there's some valid reason behind his denial then she would never bother him again about this.. but otherwise she's never gonna leave him, never ever!

"Bela", she heard Sumi's voice

"Coming Aunty", Bela shouted going down

"Come have breakfast", Sumi smiled

"Where is Mahir, Aunty?", Bela asked

"He's still getting ready I suppose, he still haven't come down", Sumi informed

"Good, I feared if he left to office", Bela said

"Why is that so?", Andy asked

"He said he'll drop me today, I don't have my car na", Bela said

"What happened to your car Bela?", Sumi asked

"Yesterday Mahir had come to pick me Aunty, so it's at the hospital only", Bela said while Sumi and Andy looked surprised

"Mahir came to pick you?", Andy asked again

"Yes Uncle", Bela said serving herself

Andy smiled looking at Sumi who is also feeling happy noticing the change in Mahir so far.

Mahir, who was standing near the stairs looked at Bela annoyed.

"Why does she have to say everything to everyone? Can't she keep anything to herself?", Mahir thought annoyed

"Mahir, come", Sumi said noticing him

Mahir nodded coming down and settled beside Bela being it the only seat vacant.

The breakfast went in almost silence and now Bela was waiting for Mahir to call her. She knew Mahir wouldn't have forgotten to drop her today, but all she wanted was Mahir to call her.

While on the other side Mahir was waiting for Bela to come, he kept looking at his watch as he was also getting late and he got more annoyed when Bela was just standing there not moving an inch.

They kept looking at eachother expecting the other to take a move while none did.

"Mahir, you need something?", Sumi asked seeing him stand near the door

"Nothing Maa", Mahir said quickly

Sumi shook her head seeing the two stubborn kids when both of them knew they are getting late. Yuvi slowly moved towards Mahir bending to his ears.

"Bhai, Bela is way more stubborn than you.. take a move, c'mon ask her out", Yuvi whispered

Mahir snapped his head listening to him and Yuvi bit his tongue.

"I mean, ask her to come Bhai.. she isn't gonna come if you don't ask", Yuvi said

Mahir rolled his eyes looking at Bela who's already looking at him frowning.

"Come", Mahir said

"Who?", Kuhu asked

"She's my sister or her's?", Mahir thought glaring at Kuhu quiet enough for her to shut her mouth now

"Bela, shall we leave?", Mahir asked annoyed

Bela grinned wide and ran behind him to the car while the rest ended up laughing seeing them.

She sat in the car and Mahir started driving towards Bela's hospital.

"Drive fast Mahir, I don't have time", Bela said seeing her watch

"What happened when you where simply standing there without moving?", Mahir taunted

"Haww! You think I'm shameless to just come and sit in your car unless you ask me to", Bela asked

"I told you yesterday only that I'll drop you, din't I?", Mahir asked

"That's yesterday Mahir, this is a new day.. new words.. new resolutions..", Bela was saying while Mahir interrupted

"Enough", Mahir snapped

"It's a blessing to hear me speak", Bela rolled her eyes

"Yes yes, a true blessing to my ears", Mahir said teasing her

"Idiot", Bela mumbled

"I heard", Mahir said

"Good for you, atleast you know what you are", Bela said

"You mean I'm an idiot.. and who's saying that, an idiot herself?", Mahir smirked

"Why not? Same breed people tend to find the other", Bela shrugged

"Does that mean you are accepting you are an idiot?", Mahir asked

"As far as it makes you an idiot, i accept anything", Bela said smirking

"You are a total nut case", Mahir said

"And you still like this crazy me", Bela said

"Yeah", Mahir said absent minded

Bela looked at Mahir and a wide smile formed her lips, she knew he said that absent minded and she always knew he meant what he said. She doesn't know how strong it is, but she was more than sure Mahir does feel something for her and now she confirmed it too.

Whereas Mahir closed his eyes for a moment realising what he just said, he couldn't help but curse himself of being this absent minded with his words but sighed in relief when Bela din't utter a word after that.
