Mahir stopped the car reaching Sehgal Mansion, Bela looked aside and a sudden fear engulfed her not knowing how to face everyone now.
She got down the car going inside ignoring Mahir and he followed her inside.
"Hey Bela, you are back", Sumi hugged her warmly
Bela smiled hugging her tight feeling heavy inside that now she's not Sumi Aunty but her mother-in-law now.
"What happened Bela?", Sumi asked looking at her
"Nothing Aunty, just a little tired", Bela smiled softly
Sumi smiled in response caressing her cheek and that's when she looked at Mahir behind.
"Mahir? Yuvi told you went to some work in the morning, how was it?", Sumi asked
Mahir looked at Bela not knowing what to answer, he just nodded at Sumi going upstairs rushing to his room.
"You also go Bela, freshenup and come.. meanwhile even Yuvi will be back from office", Sumi said
Bela nodded going to her room. She took a hot shower relaxing her nerves trying to calm her mind from the recent shocks.
She came out and looked at herself in the mirror looking at her nuptial chain, she slowly raised her hand caressing it on her neck and remembering it all over again.
She picked a high neck top to cover it from everyone, and a tear left her eye that now she has to cover her being married also.
Bela came downstairs followed by Mahir and even Yuvi came back engulfing Bela into a tight hug.
"You don't know how much I missed you Bela", Yuvi squeezed her
"Enough Yuvi Bhai, let her breath", Kuhu glared
The moment Yuvi backed off, Kuhu jumped on Bela hugging her while the rest ended up laughing seeing them.
Mahir kept looking at everyone and was surprised seeing the love they have for Bela, in these four days he had witnessed each of them missing Bela like she was a part of there family since long.. but the fact that it's only about a month.
"Come lets have dinner", Andy spoke settling on the dining
Although Yuvi and Kuhu made the dinner engaging with their constant talks, Bela and Mahir stayed silent throughout lost in there thoughts.
Mahir observed her wearing a high neck top and realised she haven't took the mangalsutra off.
"Bela", Yuvi called
"Yeah", Bela looked up at him
"Where are you lost? This is probably the first time I'm seeing you silent", Yuvi pointed out
Bela gulped not understanding what to answer while Mahir looked aside in guilt.
"Nothing Yuvi, just tired.. will be fine by tomorrow", Bela smiled
"If it's so, then okay", Yuvi smiled
Bela looked at everyone gratefully, she couldn't thank more for giving such wonderful people in her life.

Bela was walking to and fro in her room unable to sleep after what happened, it's not even a day they got married and she was feeling all chills in her body.
"Calm down Bela, you can't change what happened.. think what to do now", she said to herself looking at the mirror
"I'm married to Mahir now, but do I willingly accept this? I know I like him, but will this even work? I should probably discuss with him before jumping into conclusions all alone", Bela thought
She went out towards Mahir's room and stood infront in his room not knowing how to start the conversation. She felt awkward all of a sudden which she hated.
She slowly knocked the door and when she din't get any response even after a minute, she pushed the door peeping inside and found Mahir standing in his balcony staring at the clouds.

Bela sighed going inside and stood behind Mahir thinking how to start the conversation.
"Mahir", Bela whispered
Mahir got alert the moment her voice hit his ears and a sudden wave of fear engulfed him yet again.
He slowly turned back looking into her deep lush orbs which are staring deep into his soul.
They kept looking at eachother for a very long time trying to find there unsaid answers in eachother's eyes, until Bela remember why she was here..
"Umm.. I came to talk to you", Bela said looking aside
"Ahh yeah", Mahir said softly
"I.. I mean, our.. our marriage..", Bela shuttered thinking about it
"It's meaningless", Mahir said coldy breaking all the hopes Bela had
She looked at Mahir who held no emotion on his face saying their marriage is meaningless to him.
"Meaningless? Wh.. what do you mean?", Bela whispered
"Simple Bela, it was a mistake.. I accept, it was my mistake that I did it absent minded.. you don't have to worry about it, no one knows about it and no one will know also.. it's good even if we forget it", Mahir said not looking at her
"Forget it?", Bela looked at him in disbelief
"Yeah, we both din't wanted this so why should we bind to this mistake?", Mahir pointed
Bela looked at him for a brief second and gave a tight slap on his cheek.
Mahir looked at her shocked not expecting her to react this way, he din't know if he has to be angry as Bela was the first person to ever slap Mahir or be sad that Bela was so hurt that she took this step.
"You are sick Mahir.. you tie the mangalsutra around me, and you only say it's meaningless we should forget it.. I mean, it's always you.. don't I or my feelings matter to you Mahir?", Bela shouted
"Bela..", Mahir tied to speak but Bela showed her hand stopping him
"Not a word more Mahir.. I was a fool to think may be we could give this chance, may be we could correct this in a right way", Bela sobbed
Mahir looked at her shocked, he couldn't believe Bela actually wanted this.. but be it anything, he knew he can't take up this even when it's Bela.. the one who had successfully managed to take his heart.
"I hate you Mahir", Bela shouted throwing the flower vase aside
Mahir looked at her in horror being it the first time he's seeing this side of Bela.
The family members hearing the notice startled at once in there place and rushed to Mahir's room sensing something is wrong and was surprised to see Bela there.
Although they couldn't see Bela's tear stricken face as they where facing her back, but it was clear there's something wrong looking at Mahir's expression.
"What's wrong Mahir?", Sumi asked softly
Bela got alert listening to Sumi's voice and pressed her lips hard controlling her sobs, she din't dare to turn around and show her vulnerability side to everyone.
She herself haven't realised that she was a crying mess already after what Mahir said.
"Nothing Mom, we are good", Mahir said slowly
"Don't hurt her Mahir", Sumi said looking at Bela
Although none of them knew what happened, they atleast know something isn't right between the two. And knowing Mahir's anger issue Sumi din't want anyone to get hurt.
Mahir looked at his mother with a soft smile.. "I know I have anger issues maa for which you are scared, but I don't even know the last time I yelled at someone.. it's all just because of this women standing infront of me and yet I only end up hurting her", Mahir thought looking at Bela who's hung her head low

Sumi looked at them for once and pulled everyone outside knowing it's not good to interfere in whatever is going on between them. She trusted her kids to be mature enough to handle things in the right way but little did she know her own son is ruining his own emotions and feelings.
"I'm sorry", Bela whispered slowly
"Why are you sorry Bela?", Mahir asked
"I din't wanna make such a big scene that everyone gets to know it.. I was just..", Bela couldn't complete
"Angry on me.. right?", Mahir asked
Bela looked up facing him and nodded her head in yes.
"Mahir, can I ask you something only if you promise to give a honest answer", Bela asked to which Mahir nodded
"Why don't you want this?", Bela asked
"I'm not the one for you Bela", Mahir said
"Isn't it me who has to decide that Mahir?", Bela frowned
"Bela, trust me you and me isn't gonna work out.. we can never be we get it?", Mahir asked holding her shoulders
"I want a proper answer Mahir, you are just trying to talk some bullshit", Bela said removing his hands from her shoulder
"There should be some reason Mahir.. you don't like me, or you like someone else, or anything else.. I have to know", Bela said determined
"Before that you answer me Bela, why are you so concerned about it? Why do you want this marriage so badly? I mean, there should be some reason for this as well right?", Mahir asked confusing Bela
He was right, Bela herself don't know why she wanted this marriage when even she knew this was a mistake.. if it was someone else would she do the same?
Ofcourse not, then why Mahir? She doesn't know and neither want to answer him.
"I respect our culture Mahir, may be it's all crap for you but not for me. I consider you my husband the moment you tied the Mangalsutra around my neck in the temple infront of the god not considering the fact if I like you or no", Bela said
"Then what about your feelings Bela? Only our culture and tradition matter to you? Not your emotions or feelings?", Mahir asked
"Enough Mahir, you are just making this more complicated", Bela yelled
"It's you who's making it complicated Bela, It's just simple.. we got married mistakenly, I repeat it was a mistake.. my mistake.. and you either correct your mistakes or you forget it.. and I choose to correct it by forgetting it", Mahir said leaving Bela speechless
She kept looking at him trying to find answers in her favour but when she realised Mahir was much clear that he doesn't want her as his wife, she felt humiliated and left his room in long strides.
Mahir fell back on his bed holding his head while all the tears he held back so far poured down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry Bela.. so sorry, please don't hate me", Mahir whispered
***
Next morning Mahir wokeup coming downstairs but found no one in the living room, he looked around and was confused if none haven't come yet.
He was going towards Sumi's room while he saw Kuhu coming down.
"Kuhu, where are others?", Mahir asked
"Bela Di got fever na, so everyone are in her room", Kuhu said rushing into the kitchen
Mahir without a second thought, ran towards Bela's room and found everyone surrounding her while Bela sat in the middle of her bed.
"Bela, have this quick", Sumi said
"Aunty no way, I'm all fine.. it's a very mild fever which I'm sure will go in few hours only", Bela said
"It won't go in few hours Bela, it will increase in few hours.. drink this first", Sumi said
"But Aunty..", Bela was saying when Yuvi interrupted
"Trust me Bela this works wonders, maa gives the same when any of us are down with fever and you too just close your eyes and have it quick", Yuvi said giving her the glass
Bela took the glass and smelled it making a weird expression only to earn a glare from Sumi.
"Arre Mahir Bhai, you atleast say her to drink na.. see she's buring", Yuvi said seeing Mahir standing at the doorstep
Bela lifted her head looking at Mahir and immediately looked aside remembering their previous night conversations.
Whereas Mahir was feeling guilty thinking if he's the reason for Bela's fever also and he felt his heart pricking seeing her like this.
Bela slowly drank the drink which Sumi bought not wanting to speak anything infront of Mahir.
"Good, now sleep for a while Bela.. you will be fine by evening", Sumi said
"No Aunty, I should go to the hospital in a couple of hours", Bela said
"I'm not sending you Bela, you are sick and how do you think you will treat your patients?", Sumi asked
"Aunty it's just a normal fever which isn't of any harm, it will go eventually.. I have an important surgery so can't postpone", Bela said
"Fine, what would I say when you are a doctor", Sumi spoke sadly
"But di you gotta come home early okay? Once you are done with that surgery come home", Kuhu spoke
"Yeah, I'll come soon", Bela smiled gratefully seeing the love and affection she's receiving from this family
"But Bela, I don't want you to drive.. Yuvi or Mahir will drop you", Andy said
"That's not needed uncle, I'm fine and I can drive also.. you don't worry", Bela smiled
"No Bela, Andy is right.. take one of them with you", Sumi said
"Yes mom, Mahir Bhai will drop her na.. right Bhai?", Yuvi asked eyeing Mahir
"No", Bela spoke quick
Everyone looked at Bela at her instant reply, now that they knew there's something wrong between them Sumi din't feel it right to send Bela with Mahir atleast when she isn't that well.
"No Yuvi, let Mahir be.. you drop her", Sumi said
Yuvi tried to convince Sumi through his eyes but she shut him with one glare and Yuvi rolled his eyes at how his mom is damn sweet yet demanding.
"Fine, I'll get ready", Yuvi shrugged looking at Mahir
Bela din't dare to even look at Mahir, she still don't understand how and what to react about everything happened and is happening.. she din't know if she was right or Mahir was and couldn't even discuss it with anyone.
As much as she wants to share with someone letting out her doubts and pain, she knew how much it is related to Bela.. it's related to Mahir as well, and when he clearly didn't want anyone to know about it, she din't feel it right to discuss with anyone.
Everyone left the room one by one letting Bela get ready to go to hospital while Mahir still stood there looking at her with his peircing eyes.
"I.. I need to get.. ready", Bela spoke looking down
Mahir realised everyone left except him and looked around embarrassed.
"Umm.. yeah, sorry", Mahir said leaving the room
Bela looked at him going and a lone tear fell down her cheek which she wiped off quickly.
"Get over it Bela, if he doesn't want it then even you should bother about it okay?", She said to herself before going to the washroom
Mahir went back to his room looking at Bela's photo in his phone.. he kept looking at it caressing the phone screen, "Sorry Bela.. it's all because of me", Mahir whispered
"What's because of you Bhai?", Came a voice
Mahir looked up only to find Yuvi gawing at him with his predator eyes.
