Mahir kept shifting his eyes from Bela's lips to her eyes while Bela was tightly holding her towel which was the only piece of cloth on her.

She did notice Mahir's shifting gaze on her and felt all butterflies in her stomach seeing him stare at her lips with an all new emotion dropping from his eyes.

"Ma.. Mahir", Bela tried to speak which almost came like a whisper

"Hmm", Mahir hummed still looking at her face being lost

"I.. need to dress up", Bela said looking down at her towel worried if it will fall down

"Hmm", Mahir hummed again making Bela look up to meet his eyes

"You need to leave me for that", Bela said sounding annoyed not getting any response from him

"Hmm", Mahir said and a frown formed in between her eyebrows

And in one go, she pushed him hard into the bed getting up on her feet.

"Get out", Bela shouted clutching her towel close to her chest

"What the", Mahir muttered and then realised what he was just doing

"Umm.. ahh sorry.. I.. actually.. I don't know..", Mahir tired to frame words

"I need to change Mahir, first of all you came into my room.. sorry barged into my room without my permission while I was bathing although I remember locking it..", Bela stopped speaking when she realised she had locked the door

"Wait.. how did you get in when I locked the door?", Bela asked

Mahir gulped not knowing what to answer, he ofcourse can't tell her that he was feeling impatient without seeing her and literally barked inside with a spare key which is so inappropriate in every means.

"Umm.. don't you want to dress up?", Mahir asked trying to divert her attention

"Huh, yeah.. go", Bela said looking down

Mahir smiled at her cute expression and went away closing the room door.

"May be I forgot to lock", Bela thought before getting ready for her work

It was lunch time when Mahir came out from his cabin and dashed with someone.

"Can't you..", Mahir was gonna lash out at his so called irresponsible employee but his eyes went wide open seeing the person infront of him

"Me only, your all time dashing patner", said Bela rubbing her forehead

"Wh.. what are you doing here?", Mahir asked surprised seeing her in his office

"Oh I'm here for an interview, you know.. I'm looking for a job", Bela said sarcastically

"But I suppose they ar'nt any job openings right now and as far as I know you are working already right?", Mahir asked truly believing her words

Bela frowned listening to his reply.. she din't know if he was also being sarcastic or he actually was saying. She wondered if she even knew she's a doctor..

"Right.. my bad", Bela almost whispered rolling her eyes

"Okay I'll leave then", Bela said gritting her teeth

"So fast?", Mahir shouted before she takes a move

"Want me to stay?", Bela smirked

"Ah.. no, ofcourse not.. go", Mahir said realising what he spoke

"Okay, by the way.. where's Yuvi's cabin? I couldn't find", Bela said

"Yuvi? Why do you wanna go to Yuvi now?", Mahir asked

"Coz I came for him only Mr. Sehgal", Bela rolled her eyes at his continues questions

"Why for him?", Mahir asked

"Yaar stop asking so many questions, can't you just tell the cabin?", Bela groaned

"But..", Bela interrupted Mahir

"No buts Mahir, I'm going and asking in the reception", Bela said moving ahead of him

Since Bela's was having a break before her next shift starts, she causally called Yuvi and when Yuvi insisted her to join them for lunch she couldn't help but agree instantly.

"Hey Bela", they hear a voice and Bela smiled wide seeing Yuvi standing there

"She started rolling her eyes speaking to me, and just by looking at Yuvi she's giving that ever gorgeous smile", Mahir thought feeling annoyed

"Hey, I was looking for your cabin only", Bela smiled

"Sorry, I made you wait then.. come lets get in", Yuvi said taking Bela and that's when he saw Mahir there

"Hey Bhai, wanna join us for lunch?", Yuvi asked

"No thanks", Mahir glared at Yuvi and Yuvi shrugged

Bela looked at Mahir for once before leaving with Yuvi and Mahir was still standing there trying to process what just happened.

He wondered if these two were that close that Bela had come for him and something is making him feel disturbed about it.

While Bela and Yuvi were indeed enjoying there lunch together with there non-stop jokes and fun, on the other side Mahir was feeling restless of what's happening between those two.

He called his PA, Nisha and asked to call Yuvi to his cabin.

"Sir, Yuvi sir had asked not to disturb for anything until his friends goes back", Nisha informed much to Mahir's irritation

"Bela?", Mahir almost whispered

"I guess sir, I'm not sure of mam's name", Nisha replied

"You can leave", Mahir said rubbing his temples

As much as he knew Bela and Yuvi were just good friends, but still he couldn't help but feel jealous as if even he wanted to spend such time with Bela.

"Ugh.. why am I even acting this weird?", Mahir muttered to himself fisting his arms

He got up from his place walking towards Yuvi's cabin and stood right infront thinking if he really have to do this or no.. but something in him was making him impatient and opened the door in a go and found Bela laughing hard while yuvi was also laughing along.

"Hey, Bhai", Yuvi called seeing him there

Bela stopped laughing turning back, looking at Mahir she passed a small smile.

"You wanted something Bhai?", Yuvi asked

"No, I just.. ahh.. what are you doing?", Mahir asked

"Nothing much, was just talking to Bela", Yuvi said

"Oh wait, I guess I should leave now Yuvi.. it's gonna be time", Bela spoke seeing her watch

"But you said your friend is coming to pick you so you ar'nt going before introducing her Bela", Yuvi said

"Damn you both, although I find you very very similar to me.. in this girlfriend boyfriend thing you are just like Vish.. when will you guys be serious?", Bela glared

"Oh I'm all serious once I meet your Vishhh", Yuvi said dreamily

"Shutup", Bela slapped his arm playfully

Mahir, who was looking at them so far looked how close and comfortable they both were and wondered why he and Bela ar'nt this way.

"Fuck you Mahir, why am I even comparing this way? Just forget all this and mind your own job", Mahir said to himself

He turned to leave but stopped when Bela called him.

"Mahir wait, Vish is on the way.. let me introduce you to her", Bela asked

Mahir just nodded and came inside and although Bela and Yuvi again got into there conversation, Mahir noticed how Bela din't ignore and constantly looked at him bringing him into there conversation although Mahir answered in monosyllables.

"Heyyy", Came a voice and Bela smiled in happiness

"Vish", Bela smiled getting up

"Come, this is Mahir.. and he's Yuvi", Bela introduced

"Hi Mahir, Hi Yuvi", Vish greeted

"Hey, hottie?", Yuvi smirked

Vish raised her eyebrow at his sudden statment, and smirking shook hands with him.

"Oh so you are Mahir.. I heard a lot about you", Vish smiled

"About me?", Mahir asked confused

"Yeah, Bela would speak so much about you.. Mahir is this, Mahir is that.. honestly, I got bored also now", Vish laughed

Mahir looked at Bela who was already looking at him but the moment his eyes met her she looked down not meeting his eyes.

"What did she say?", Mahir asked

"Oh what do I tell you? Although this is the first time we are meeting, I got to know a lot about your anger issues and mood swings.. all thanks to Bela", Vish said

"Shutup Vish", Bela glared

"I don't have mood swings", Mahir stated

"Sure", Bela smirked

Mahir glared at her while Bela looked elsewhere mentally noting to smash Vish for not controlling her words.

"Someone notice my presence as well", Yuvi said eyeing everyone

"Ofcourse Hottie, you are eye cathy after all", Vish smirked

"My bad I got you here.. before you both 'single, realy to mingle' people get along, we should probably leave Vish", Bela said

"You are a villain in my love life Bela", Vish said

"Thank me later.. now come", Bela said pushing Vish

"I'm taking this", Vish said picking Yuvi's visiting card kept aside

Yuvi smirked seeing how Bela was right about Vish, although this is there first meeting.

"Bye Mahir, bye Yuvi", Vish yelled before going outside

Bela turned around before waving a bye to Yuvi and she looked at Mahir and left the cabin passing a small smile to him which yet again took his breath away.

"Bhai", Yuvi called

"You can chill", Yuvi said

"For?", Mahir asked

"I found my one.. Bela is yours only", Yuvi said

"What?", Mahir quickly snapped his head

"I mean Bhai.. now that I might be spending more time with Vish if things workout, you see.. you get to spend a little time atleast with Bela. She's our guests right?", Yuvi asked

Mahir rolled his eyes sensing his brother teasings, he left his cabin going back and sat back on his chair leaning back thinking about the day's activities.

Mahir came back from his office quite early keeping Bela's words in mind.. he understood he isn't doing any good by keeping his family away just coz of his emotions and pain he faced.

He decided to spent atleast a little time with them daily and hence, came early than usual today but was surprised not finding Bela at home.

"You came early Mahir?", Sumi asked surprised

"Ah.. yes maa", Mahir said not wanting to speak more about why he came early

"Okay, freshenup and come.. we can have dinner together", Sumi asked with hope

"Sure mom", Mahir said moving ahead but shopping listening to Vish's words

Vish had become close to all of them when Yuvi started being close to her.. and even the family liking her, invited her with open arms.

Today, she was just here as Yuvi insisted to come casually.

"I'll go home and eat Aunty, you guys carry on.. anyhow Bela haven't come yet", Vish said

"She still isn't home?", Mahir asked

"No Mahir, she might be late today at the hospital", Vish said knowing Bela is caught up with an emergency surgery

"Hospital?", Mahir asked

"Yeah, she's still at the hospital", Vish said

"Still? You mean she's there since morning?", Mahir asked surprised

"Yeah, but.. what happened Mahir?", Vish asked not understanding what he meant

"If she's in the hospital, then what are you all doing here?", Mahir shouted making everyone flinch in there places

While everyone are confused why he's speaking this way, only Yuvi assumed if Mahir din't know Bela is a doctor and going to hospital daily is her work there.

He let it be, feeling this might be the way Mahir can realise that Bela is just not a guest or a friend.. but something special than that.

After all, we humans value people only when we loose them.. and Yuvi felt the fear of something happening with Bela might give him the closure for his emotions.

"Which hospital?", Mahir shouted

"Life Hospitals", Vish whispered

Mahir gave a disbelief look to everyone who's looking at him surprised and rushed back to his car going to the hospital and without even parking the car he just moved to the reception.

"Bela Sharma", Mahir asked

"She's busy sir, you need to wait for a while", said the receptionist

"I asked which room is Bela Sharma in?", Mahir roared not understanding what she actually meant

"Room 105", the receptionist spoke in fear looking at Mahir's angry red face

Mahir quickly left the place finding for the room and when he did, he pushed the door in a go but was confused seeing some other lady lying on the bed while there was a guy sitting next to her.

"Your baby is absolutely safe sir, there are giving a bath to her", came Bela's voice

Mahir turned around looking at Bela who's still in her surgical gown.

"Mahir? What are you doing here? Get out, this is an operation theatre", Bela whispered yelled pushing him aside

"I'm sorry for that.. we can shift you to the general ward now", Bela smiled awkwardly at the patient and left the room

She came out and glaring at Mahir who was already looking at her, she found him sweating and looked as if he was running till here.

"Ma..", she stopped thinking to first freshenup and come

"I'll just come", Bela said going to her cabin

She came back in ten minutes changing her dress and Mahir looked at her with tears filled eyes.

"Hey, Mahir?", Bela called shocked seeing him this way

"You.. you are a doctor?", Mahir asked

"Ahh.. yeah, gynecologist", Bela said confused

Mahir brushed his hair thinking how did he not know this even after so many days of Bela staying in his house.

"Mahir, what happened?", Bela asked keeping her hand on his shoulder

Mahir looked at her for a brief second and pulled her in his arms almost crushing there bodies together.

Although Bela was astonished by Mahir's sudden reaction, she wrapped her arms slowly around his back rubbing it when she sensed his soft sobs on her shoulder.

She was feeling all tickles feeling his body sticking to her's and that proximity felt something new and foreign to her body that goosebumps erupted on her skin.

"Mahir shh, what happened?", Bela asked softly

"Come with me", Bela said coming out from his arms

That moment although Mahir din't wanted to let go of her warmth, he let it and followed her till her cabin and Bela made him sit on the chair while she sat on the table right infront of him.

"Now tell me, what's the matter?", Bela asked

Mahir looked at her telling everything and Bela looking at him, laughed hard at once.

"Oh my god Mahir, you should have listened to them atleast.. and wait, even after so many days you don't know what my profession is?", Bela asked laughing

"Stop it Bela, this isn't any funny.. I was.. was scared", Mahir confessed honestly

Bela smiled seeing his concern and fear for her.

"Okay sorry, but there's nothing to worry okay? I'm a doctor and since there was an surgery today I couldn't come home at the usual time", Bela clarified

"Now I know", Mahir said looking elsewhere

"Good.. but wait, you even dropped me at the hospital one day.. din't you atleast observe then?", Bela asked

"Yeah, I was angry on you then.. I was least bothered to check my surroundings", Mahir reasoned

"You are cute", Bela smiled

Mahir scrunched his nose to Bela's comment and yet again she ended up laughing looking at him.
