《Hidden》Chapter 69

Emma fell from the blue dragon flying in the sky. She felt the warm wind roughly caress her skin, almost trying to convince her that this was a bad idea, but She didn't care, life was full of mistakes, and she knew this wasn't one of them.
A flash of silver shine in the corner of the brunettes eye, and she smirked as she prepared for impact. The silver dragon put on a burst of speed as it looper under Emma, cathching the girl midair. It let out a grumble of rage as he leveled himself with Aqua, taking a small glance at the injured headmaster and clicking his teeth in rage. Emma patted the dragons scales, but nothing would sooth the rage of a injured bond.
Emma opened her mind once more, but only a tad bit to let Comet in. The silver dragon was thirsty for revenge, and that's what he was going to get.
Unlike Aqua's gentle wing beats, Comet had long and hard wing beats that were powerful enough to knock over trees with a powerful enough flap. The silver dragon let out a roar of rage as he flew down towards the dark creatures, his jaws wide open for a bit of justice. The dark creatures didn't move as they went through a fight or flight process. But they weren't used to thinking, leaving enough time for Comet to sink his jaws into it's neck, severing the head.
Comet proceeded to attack, keeping the closest creature in his sights before he killed them. Emma watched the escaping people as they escaped the building, more people rushing out now that they realized it was safe. Emma recognized one of the people to be Riley, the party organizer and the one who sent the angry chef Marcy away the one night. Her eyes looked at Comet with surprise. The giant dragon was a rare sight in the history books, and Coment tended to laze inside all day, making sightings of himself rare.

She continued to run with the crowd though, the fear that filled her veins overpowering her wonder. Comet took another creature in his jaws and flung it across the large glade, watching as its limbs became a tangled mess on the around. The creatures surrounding the two were increasing, nipping at the giant dragons ankles and legs, throwing Comet's attack off. One of the creatures grew bold, darting past its comrades and under Comet's belly, using it's dark claws to make a shallow cut in between his scales. The creature didn't last long, for Emma had her ice sword at a ready, slicing off its head as it tumbled to get away from the enraged dragon.
The numbers around them were growing fast, getting riled up at the new and difficult fight. Another creature darted towards the grey dragon, jaws wide open as it locked its eyes on Comet's neck. The demon was abruptly stopped when a wall of ice encircled it's way around Comet and Emma, the sounds of the battle getting quiet. With careful eyes; Emma wached as Aqua floated down closer to Emma, her feathers providing a quiet flight. David leveling himself so Emma could hear him. "Emma! We need to find a place to seek shelter for now! The headmaster won't last long in this condition!"
Shouting over the wing beats of a dragon was a challenge. People screaming from outside was another problem that proved hearing a difficult task, not to ,mention the girls Lourdes heartbeat in her ears. A sense of fear washed over the girl, but adrenaline pushed it away and numbed the emotion. But even though the commotion of noise, the loud heartbeat threatening to leap out of her throat, Emma could David's smooth voice was crystal clear. "What about the other people! If we don't stall those creatures then they'll be killed just like the rest."

"They have the elites, just look at them." David gestured to the last fleeing people. The elites were using their magic to stop the creatures pursuit, the earth elite going so far as to erupt a six foot wall around the whole academy. The creatures slipped against the wall a few times, but after a bit of confusion, they managed to get over. One of the elites were carrying the fire elite over their shoulder, the red mage not looking too well after his little fight with Emma. Her grey eyes turned to look at David, then in front of him where the weak headmaster layed. His breathing was shallow, and his wounds looked deep. With a small shake from the headmaster, Emma made her decision.
"Lets go." She said simply. The dragons didn't need to be told twice as they started flying through the air, wings thundering as they flew to the nearest town.
°°°
The whole town was in lockdown. Earth and water mages were using their magic to make a fifteen foot wall. They had all livestock piled inside the area with the people, making their panicking a flurried mess. Dragons were standing tall compared to the humans, but judging from their rapidly turning heads, they didn't know what to do either.
"Comet, you're going to have to sit on the wall that they're building. You're simply to big for the inside of the city right now." Emma said while patting his scales. He whimpered as he flew above Aqua, allowing Emma to drop onto her saddle. The Dragon shifted with the new weight, but quickly steadied herself as she flapped her elegant feathered wings. The Dragon descended from the sky, quickly flying over the wall and into the chaos in the city. People didnt even have time to move out of the way as Aqua landed, knocking some people over with her wings.
David slid off the saddle with Emma hot in his trail. The two immediately started looking for another healing mage, but was disappointed when They saw a building full of injured. Emma proceeded to look around when someone approached David.
"Boy, are you looking to heal that man?"
