It was a simple day of snow. Dragons played with joy on their faces, and every store in the country was closed for the holidays. The white powder still fell endlessly from the sky, snowing people inside sometimes. But water and fire dragons became a necessity during this time of the day.

David was going around with Aqua and helping the small children that wished to play in the snow, using his magic to create snow forts of all kinds to make the children of the nearby town happy.

The town was named after a great ice Dragon. A rare creature that came from water dragons that lived in the tundra. Its skin was a frost blue, and it's eyes were the same colour as it's scales. It was a large Dragon that had been recorded in history, before dying at the age of six hundred with its old rider.

The town was called Shalixa, the name did not represent anything cold in the world, for the ice dragons rider was simple minded, and hated deep lore, so he kept it simple, and that saved David from all the questions from Peter.

"What do you mean you can't make one for me?! You just made like, fifty ice holes for these kids! And yet you say you can't make an igloo for me?" The redhead asked, fake tears rolling down his cheeks. The water on his face immediately froze, causing him to panic and wipe the ice off. David chuckled, continuing to morph the snow into a tightly packed small snow fort. He loved his friend, but he really needed Peter to get a girlfriend soon.

"Peter, for the last time, your old enough to make your own. Go get Amber to help you make a snow pile. Then maybe I'll help you." David said while finishing the snow fort. As soon as the blue aura faded around the snow, he covered the fort in water, freezing it to make the fort sturdy. Kids soon flooded into the fort, laughter exploded from them as they made themselves kings of the hill.

Peter groaned and slumped on the snow, sulking as his face got buried in snow. David chuckled, buring the boy in more snow, leaving only his head visible. David continued to build off Peter, making a slide of some sort that cascaded off his friend. When kids saw this, they immediately ran to it, running to Peter.

The red head dared to look up from his snowy tomb, and saw a herd of kids running to him, kicking up snow like a storm. The male screamed, trying to wriggle his way out, but David was smart, and made it right enough to keep him encased in the snow slide. Peter used his fire magic, breathing fire out of his mouth and directly below him. He had made a tunnel, and the boy gave a smirk to David before crawling into the six feet deep snow.

David panicked, now knowing where Peter was. He could hear the boy melting the snow easily with his fire breath, but that still made him worry about the snow collapsing onto his friend. He saw the snow glow orange right in front of him before Peter burst out, his hair covered in snow.

"You are gonna pay water boy!" Peter laughed, chasing David with his fire. David ran for his life, knowing that of he stopped now, he would be tickled to death by his life long friend. The kids stopped their fun on the snow and now watched as David and Peter chased each other, fire and water dancing all over the place.

"Peter! Be careful of the children! I don't need them hurt!" David said, blocking a fire ball incoming to the kids watching.

"What? You mean like this?" Peter asked, throwing a large wall of fire at the kids. David shot Peter the most disturbed look before he struggled to get water in front of the kids before Peter. But David was too slow, Peter's fire reaching the kids first. Just before the fire toched the now worried kids, it pulled up and flew in the sky, forming a long Chinese Dragon. Peter waved his hands around as he made the fire Dragon dance around with graceful moves. The kids awed with their small life long dragon partners, each pair sharing the same eyes as the other. It was a dance of much practice, and one that would not be complete without a partner.

David got his own collection of water, using frost to lighten he colour and make the Dragon look like the ice Dragon of legends. Aqua and Ember watched in awe as the fire Dragon danced in the sky, the water Dragon soon joining. Kids laughed and smiled as the two long dragons danced together, splashing together and creating an orange and red mist that sprayed along everyone.

"Oh gosh, now we got to get everyone dry." David said, pulling off the extra water front their clothing. Some kids were shivering, and the sun was still high in the air. The two friends worked together to help the cold kids, the two dragons collected some dead dry fire wood and created a huge pile. David had gone to the local markets and searched for smore packages, taking all the gold he earned with him.

It was going to be a difficult trip, finding a vendor that wasmt closed for the holidays was almost impossible, but David knew exactly where to go, but he was weary about leaving Peter with the hoard of children. But with a few words of reassurance, David left the over confident Peter in charge.

Peter was in charge of the kids, and he was not ready for the responsibility.

"Hey! Don't touch him there! He hates that dude!" Peter called out to a kid poking the red Dragon on its left paw. The Dragon was crowded with kids, and was having a hard time controlling itself. Aqua watched as the calmer kids cralwed on her back, cuddling the smooth Dragon with their soft mittens. Ember stared at the blue Dragon with jealousy, and Aqua was enjoying the attention from the red Dragon.

Ember noticed this, and beconed Aqua closer, her snout approaching the red Dragon. The kids watched as a smug grin formed not he dragons face, a devious plan in action. Even Peter was watching in awe, smiling as his Dragon sent a mental image of his plan to Peter.

"You got this boy, do your worst." Peter whispered, laughing to himself. The red Dragon scrunched up his face, the cold from the weather causing him to sneeze all over the blue Dragon. Aqua immediately let out a roar in disgust, running her snout all over the snow in attempt to get it off. Ember just laughed, a long With all the other children around him. Once Aqua got most of the disgusting snot off, she looked at Ember, her eyes now into slits. She prepared a blast of water, shooting it right into the dragons face. As soon as it made contact, it froze, freezing the dragons face in time.

His head dropped into the snow, kids laughing so hard they were threatening to pee. Both Ember and Aqua stopped what they were doing and melted the ice, not wanting human urine in between their scales. It wasn't long before David trailed back with a sack of marshmallows in his hands. The kids were immeiatly up on him, begging for a taste of the treats.

"Calm down you guys, we haven't got to the best part yet!" He laughed, setting the bags down close to the pile of wood. The day was beginning to end, and with everyone successfully dug out of their own homes, they began to huddle around the stack of wood.

"What on earth is this? A party?" David heard a familiar voice call out to him, and he immediately turned around only to be embraced in a hug. Emma smiled as she let go of him, Jasmine smiling as she went to help herself to the marshmallows. Electra wandered over the the red and blue dragon, the dragons smiling as they all thought of a way to make everything better.

With the snacks in place, it wasn't long before nearly the whole town was around the stack of wood. Ember shot a flame at the pile of wood, immediately it burst into a bonfire. The kids were laughing as the warmed their mittens, the cold now only sinking into them. Many people of all ages got sticks and proceeded to make smores, chocolate all over their faces as they ate. David had sadly noticed that Emma had left again, but he didn't linger on it too long as children and parents came to thank him and Peter for their hard work.

The dragons got fish of their own, the delicious treat. Now sitting warmly in their bellies. With a purr, the dragon's watched in delight as children continued to play, using the warmth of the fire as a battery.

But unknown to them, Emma had a plan of her own. Electra and her set up the surprise, smiling as they talked through the link they shared. With the finishing touch, the two flew down from the trees and returned to The fire. The smell of smores made the girl hungry, so she began to roast herself a marshmallow, making sure not to burn the white fluffy treat. With her two smores ready, she wandered around the fire, look I g for the blue haired male.

Of course, it wasn't hard to find the natural blue hair, for it seemed to stick out in one of the most precious ways possible. Emma ruffled up his hair before sitting down next to him, his face lighting up eight he cutest smile possible.

"Jeeze Emma, I thought you left m-" David was caut off with a smore in his mouth. Emma looked at him as she ate her own. Waiting for the perfect time to flaunt off her handy work.

"David, I honestly would never leave you." She said with no shame. David blushed a deep red, not from the cold though. The two sat in a comfortable silence as they ate their smores. It wasn't a proper meal, but it was tasty none the less. With the dragons chattering in their own language, Electra waited for her que, waiting for the perfect moment to light up the sky.

Once Emma was done her smore, She looked back at the yellow dragon, it's body generating electricity in one simple movement. The Dragon held the end of the cord with us paw, letting its magic flow thought the cord and throughout the long length of lights.

Christmas lights flashed all over the trees, lighting up the forest in a splash of greens and reds, along with some other colours. There were so many lights that some thought they were fireflies, but it was winter, and no bugs were alive. Children clapped and screamed in delight as parents took pictures in front of the lit trees. The darkness of the sky bringing out the colours of the lights even more.

This was when the dragons decided to step in with a plan of their own. Aqua had made hollow balls of ice and let Electra store electricity inside, the yellow light bouncing all over inside the ball. Aqua shot The balls of ice into the sky, Ember's eyes watching each of his targets carefully. The red dragon shot out a few lines of fire, colliding into the floating balls of ice and electricity.

The lightning from inside went all over the sky, in busy as many colours as the lights below in the trees did.

"Thank you David." Emma said, taking a seat beside the blue haired male. David have her a questioning glance, not really sure what he did.

"For what?" He asked. Emma smiled, looking away from the light show and into his light blue eyes.

"For being their for me."
