(note: this is not part of the story line)

Emma sat on David's bed patiently waiting for the blue haired male. He had said something about getting a snack before they left to feed Aqua, but that was five minutes ago,and even though it has been a short time, Emma was growing restless.

She scanned through her phone, looking at the dead chat she shared with her three other friends. The last message sent was from her, saying that they were finally at their destination, the northern academy.

But that was two days ago.

Emma groaned, shifting on the bed and staring at the fish inside the walls. Ever since David had warmed up the water, fish of all colours and sizes swam in the bright blue water.

The girl decided to text the group again, saying a 'hello?' to them. The other two mages must have been in class by now, Peter must have been getting lecured by the teacher for leaving his phone on vibrate. The thought made the silver eyed girl laugh, thinking about Peter silently cursing under his breath as he handed his phone to the teacher.

At this time, David walked into the room, his eyes landing on the female laying on the bed, staring helplessly at her phone. David cleared his throat, gaining Emma's attention.

"Oh! Jeeze David you spooked me." Emma said, a smile spreading on her face. Although it was spring, Halloween was right around the corner, and David had a plan.

"Hey, I need you to get some comfortable clothes on, I'm going out somewhere and I need you to come with me. We'll have to ride a dragon to get to where we're going."

Emma nodded with no question; anything to rid of the bordem -_-:-), sliding off the bed like slime. She picked some black jogging pants and an orange sweater to wear. She quicky slid on the sweater and black pants, coming back out of the bathroom with a topless David. Emma blushed, quickly turning away and diverting her eyesight away from the male. Her mind was all over the place, some going into the dirty parts of her mind.

"Haha! Nope!" The girl said, walking over to the bathroom again. She waited until David knocked on the door, a muffled I'm done' coming from him.

The grey-eyed girl stepped out cautiously, her eyes staring at the ground as she walked out. Her face wasn't as red as before, but she could still feel her ears burning. She looked at David with an awkward smile, her grey eyes staring into David's light blue ones with a mischievous glint. David chuckled, although he couldn't deny the heat creeping up his neck.

The two walked out of the delicately decorated room and into the hallway. Tubes of water poured into fountains, but something weird was going on.

The water was turning red.

The fish seemed fine with the change, in fact, the only sign that they noticed the change was when the quickly swam around when they were first touched by the water. Emma stared as she watched the fish and water change, still walking down the hallways. David eyed the water suspiciously, but kept walking along side Emma, only caring for his destination.

The two followed a small map that Bailey had gave them earlier, and although the handwriting was in a neat and fancy cursive that was almost impossible to read, Emma managed to make out some of the writing. Making their way to the giant stables, they saw a very familliar silver giant waiting for them.

Comet has shining scales, and all the possible grime in between was plucked clean. His body was relaxed and his eyes were drifting in and out of sleep.

"Looks like someone's enjoying themselves." Emma chuckled, patting the dragons smooth and polished scales. The two continued walking to the next stall, entering the damp atmosphere of the room.

Aqua stood as soon as David and Emma walked into the room. Her own feathers had been groomed to perfection, and her blue fur was practically glowing against the heat lamp above. David patted his dragon as it came closer to the two students, wrapping its body around the two in an attempt to hug them. Emma chuckled, hugging the big blue dragon back, whereas David was struggling to break free.

"A-Aqua! Let me go! Gah!" David seemed to sink deeper into Squad fur, and the blue dragon let out a low grumble, a common laughing sound among many dragon species.

"Alright Aqua, we've got to go somewhere important right now, but I promise that when we get back that well spend some time for you."

The light blue dragon huffed, but let the two go after giving David a lick on the face, changing his nice hairstyle to a large cow lick. David groaned as he crawled on Aqua first, Emma sitting right behind his and wrapping her arms around tfheblue haired males waist.

The doors to The hallways closed, and on the opposite side of the room and another large pair of doors opened, revealing the outdoors. Aqua wasted no time, leaping out as soon as she could. Letting herself gain some momentum, Aqua opened her feathered wings, the air immediately cathching them and making the dragon slowly rise in the sky.

Aqua knew exactly where she was going after David had shared the whole plan over their mind link. Aqua bounded in the air, flying as fast as she could to their destination.

Nighttime was fast approaching, and pumpkins with unique carvings had been lit up, and left the ground below have random orange tints to the grass. Aqua sensed that she was close, and with David growing restless on the dragons back, the dragon knew it was time to land.

The dragons super sensitive eyes had picked up on a pair of glowing orange eyes, and at first, the dragon was immediately spooked, jerking up in the sky with a violent movement, but when her mind searched her memories, Aqua quickly charged at the sight.

David screamed at the sudden change of movement, and Emma laughed as she wiped the tears out of her eyes. The light blue dragon landed right next to a forest, Jack-o-lanterns lighting up the bases of trees. David and Emma slid off the dragon, and David began to walk into the forest, Emma and Aqua following closely behind.

When the three reached the very center of the forest, lights of orange and green lit up the center of the forest, pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns lighting up the place. Two tables of food and a punch bowl had been layed out and some quiet music was playing.

Emma wandered around, her curious grey eyes looking at the scene. Just as she was about to look at the food, someone screamed right beside Emma, making the brunette let out a scream of her own.

"Jasmine?!?!" Emma yelled. The silver haired girl laughed hysterically, her face a pale white as she wore a halloween costume.

"What? Oh my gosh you're here! Why? I have so much to tell you!" Emma immediately began to talk to Jasmine, but not before Peter walked up the girl and spooked her. Emma stared at the two friends, completely dumbfounded that her two friends we're here, right now!

Emma smiled like there was nothing to worry about. She partied with David and the others as their own dragons joined Aqua, watching the scene and eating the random squirrels that venture to close to the scaly beasts.

Emma had a few more drinks of the pink punch that was on the table. The party was mostly filled with chatter, but the friends all had a good time, a few tears of joy from being reunited with each other was shed.

David called everyone over, and all began playing a game of truth or dare.

"Alright," David started. "Jasmine, truth or dare?" He asked, hoping that his plan would work.

"Dare." Bingo. David's plan was working.

"I dare you to......"

The tension was real, and everyone leaned in to hear the date.

"I want you to kiss Peter," David chuckled, and Peter blushed as Jasmine grinned, accepting the challenge. She quickly wrapped her hand around Peter's collar, leaning in but not kidding him on the lips like David intended, but rather on the forehead. Peter collapsed to the ground, his mind high in the sky as his mind replayed the scene over and over in his head.

"David." Jasmine looked David dead in the eye, then to Emma,and with a grin, she spoke. "Truth or dare?"

David gulped. He knew what would happen if he accepted the dare, and it would have something to do with Emma, but if he said truth, he would have to do whatever Dare came after.

"T-truth." He studdered, blushing as he took a glance at the curious Emma beside him. Jasmine huffed, but managed to ask and even more embarrassing kind of question.

"Have you ever wanted to kiss Emma?" Jasmine asked with a smirk. At this question, Peter shot up from the ground, a small giggle coming from him as he shared an evil glance with Jasmine.

"Umm" David trailed off, and Emma was staring at him with a small blush. The male let out a sigh, sending a small, 'comfort me later' to Aqua. The blue haired male stared at Jasmine, but not before sharing a small look with Emma.

"I won't lie, I've thought of it." David said, internally screaming. Jasmine laughed, Peter clapping as he admitted his own thoughts. Emma blushed like mad, she wasn't going to deny she thought if kissing David either, but at less She didn't have to admit it.

Yet.

Questions of truth or dare was thrown around, and in one of the dares that Peter recived, he had to jump over the fire pit naked. Of course, Peter did wear pants, but only to protect the two other girls innocence.

But when Jasmine got the chance to tell David a Dare, she didn't hesitate to make her own ship sail.

"David, I dare to kiss Emma on the lips, no cheating, skin to skin contact." Peter laughed as Jasmine finished telling David the dare. Emma's eyes widened, and she gave Jasmine a 'why you do this?' look the the other girl. Jasmine just replied with a shrug, and watched the scene unfold.

David locked his lips, if this was going to be his first kiss, then he better make it worth it. He stared at Emma who was leaning against a tree. Pinneing her against it, arm right beside her face, he brought his face closer to Emma's, going through all the internet's help with a kiss running through his mind.

David's mind was mush, so, he did what he thought was natural. Looking at Emma's lips and biting his own; he stared into her grey eyes, the sparkles that sprinkled her irsis making it look like he was staring into a galaxy with millions of stars. Small hints of colour from the flame beside them reflected off the girls eyes, and finally, David leaned in, kissing the grey eyed girl.

It didn't last long, five seconds at the least, but after they broke the kiss, they were both red faced, Jasmine and Peter finally seeing their ship sail.

David retuned to his original spot, a timer going off on his phone as he was about to dare Jasmine to kiss Peter on the lips. But the time was now three in the morning.

"Guess time flies when you're having fun." David said, standing up and brushing the pine needles off his bottom.

"Yeah, I guess will see you in a week then." Jasmine said with a sad tone. The friends were going to miss each other, but soon they would be reunited back at the central academy.

"See you guys soon!" Emma said cheerfully, successfully getting rid of the gloomy mood. Peter and Jasmine got in their own dragons, and Emma crawled on David's, preparing to take off.

"Hey David! You looked like you enjoyed that kiss!" Jasmine yelled before quickly flying off with Peter back to the central academy. David shook his head with a laugh, Emma once again wrapping her arms around him.

"Hey Emma...." David trailed off. The grey eyes girl let out a hum, and David paused.

"Do you want to sit in the front? You can tell Aqua where to go for the next hour of you want." David offered, looking back to the girl.

"Really?!" Emma said, exitment chasing away any hint of sleep from her system.

"Yeah really, take it as an apology for kissing you without asking." David said with a hint of saddness in his voice. Emma and David switched spots, David now the one holding onto Emma's waist so he didn't fall off.

Emma was about to ask Aqua to take off, but told the little dragon to wait until her signal.

"Hey David?" Emma said.

"Yeah?" David replied, patiently waiting for the dragon to take off.

"I liked the kiss." Emma said. But before David could react, Aqua burst into the sky, David clinging to Emma for dear life. Emma laughed, and manuvered her way with Aqua elegantly weaving her way through many obsticals.

Aqua landed back into her room, her wing muscles burning with a good feeling. As she watched the two humans walk out of the room with a pat goodbye, she buried herself inside her giant tank of boiling water, letting her scales absorb the heat. She was smiling inside, happy to see her small one finally have some progress in his love life.

'about time you found someone' Aqua chuckled, listening to David's protests inside the mind link. Aqua simply brushed off the small one's voice, but listened to the more important voice say a small 'thank you' to the dragon. Aqua replied with a 'anytime' and let herself fall into a deep sleep.

David and Emma was playing rock paper scissors to see who got the bed, Emma winning by brushing his sizzir with her rock.

"Ha! You can't escape the rocks wrath!" Emma said, hopping into the soft bed. David sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed as he watched Emma get comfy on one side. The grey eyed girl suddenly had an idea, making a pillow walk on the center of the bed so that the two didn't sleep to close.

"Here!" Emma said, showing off her 'great' creation. David rolled his eyes, but layed in the bed anyways.

"Thanks Emma, and goodnight." He said. Emma let out a soft chuckle.

"Goodnight David, I hope that kiss didn't scar you for life." Emma said, truley hoping that she kissed him right. David grinned, a blush on his face that thankfully Emma couldn't see because of the dark.

"Ha, to be honest that was my first kiss, and hopefully it won't be my last with you." David said, instantly regretting what he said. Emma laughed, turning over to look at the blue haired males blue eyes that reflected the moolight.

"Don't worry, it won't be." And with those reassuring words, the two fell asleep.

"Yeah, it sure won't be." The author said, quietly floating away.
