《Hidden》Chapter 36

Emma woke up at the crack of dawn, the beautiful sun just beginning to light up the world.
She was to only one up, but her head was foggy from the lack of sleep and her back itched from the dry skin from her healing wounds.
They were still gliding in the sky, and the giant silver dragon flew with a steady pace as a small hill bagan to peak over the horizon.
Stetching her arms, Emma sat upright and took off her jacket, the previous warmth leaving her. She stood up, slowly adjusting to the movment created by the dragons wing beats.
Leaning over to the edge of the leather saddle, she looked over the dragons grey scales to look at the ground. All that scattered the earth's surface was vegetation; a few farms with cattle and giant fire lizards littered the few green fields between trees, and even then the colours of the world were growing dark as rain clouds closely followed the small group.
Looking back to her two fly-buddies, she smiled as she saw the headmaster and David unknowingly snuggling each other for warmth.
The childish sight made Emma laugh a bit as she risked a picture with her phone. With a sound of a click, she sent the picture to Peter, who immediately answered.
Emma laughed, causing David to groan as he woke up. His thin grey t-shirt moving wildly in the wind. He looked down to his lap, where the headmaster had used David's leg as a pillow.
Slowly lifting the older man's head up, David moved his leg and placed a small bag under the man's head, not waking him from the comforting sleep.
Successfully making it out from under headmaster's weight, David stretched as he took in the view of the land below.
Emma joined him, but a terrifying reality came into view.
Underneath them, running along the ground at high speeds, were the long black creatures bounding across the grassy feilds and trees. They stayed hidden most of the time, but the peered out of the trees, there demonic, red eyes shining through the trees time to time .

Emma froze, the now thin scratches on her back tingling from the rush of blood pumping through her veins. Flashes of the night before were still fresh in her mind, bringing the fear back with them.
She stumbled backwards, landing on her bottom as she took deep breaths to steady herself. David was also pale in the face as he stated at Emma, trying to collect himself.
"What are those things?" He asked. The sound of the strong wind blocked out most of the sound, but Emma read his lips, the words echoing in her mind loud and clear. She moved a bit closer to him, trying to make her voice loud enough for him to hear.
"I'm not sure," She shook her head. "But I think we should tell the headmaster."
David gave her a dumbfounded look, clearly conflicted about Jamine's decision from earlier, and Emma's suggestion just then.
But the girl wasn't having it, the wounds on her back tingled and pricked her nerves as she though back to the night before, how to creature had the eyes of a child, but inside they were broken and twisted and belonged to a broken mind.
Taking one last glance down to the ground, She saw as some of the creatures stopped there pursuit and began to devour the flesh of animals that would have fed the small towns and large city for the season's to come.
Emma looked back to David for at least a bit of reassurance, but he was also at loss of words, the only think clear was his uncertainty. The brunette let out a sigh and crawled over to the headmaster, body shaking at the thought of being up-close and personal once again with them.
The ghostly pressure of the creatures hand made it's was into Emma's mind as she recalled being squeezed to death, right before David had saved her with his expert water skills. She returned her attention back to the middle-aged man in front of her, his black sweater and pants making sure to keep him warm as he slept.

Emma gently shook him, gaining a deep breath from him and a slight stir. She continued to shake him until his eyes began to open, his black and white eye still drowsy as he sat up, using his arms for support. He rubbed his eyes, letting out a yawn before taking in the sight of the sunrise.
"That's such a beautiful sight to wake up to, riding on your dragons back on a fresh day like this, with the sun greeting us for a new day." He smiled, then turned to look at Emma's pamiked face. The once happy smile turned into a look of confusion as he stared at Emma's grey eyes, panic becoming an increase in evryone.
"What's wrong Emma?" He asked, Emma was at loss for words, what would she say? There are giant satanic beings following them? That they were out having fun last night and they were attacked?
She pushed the questions aside, and listened to her gut feeling.
"Look down." Was all she said. The headmaster Have her a confused look but followed her anyways to the edge of the dragons saddle. Holding onto the edge, the headmasters black hair whipped around in the wind, and he had to grip his hat to keep it from falling away.
"I see a beautiful landscape, look at the hills, they're becoming more ridged because we're close to the mountains." He pointed out, smiling to Emma to give her reassurance. But fear was wrapping around the girls stomach like a snake, and it was only becoming worse.
She shook her head, looking down only to see one of the creatures run out of the edge of the forest to get to the next. Her hand shot towards the creature, pointing violently the the demonic creature moving at unbelievable speeds.
"There!" She shouted. The headmasters head quickly whipped around to look at what she was pointing at, and his eyes widened as he personally cursed.
"What the hell is that?" The headmaster asked. But no one had the answer. He watched as more of the demonic creatures leaped and bounded over obsticals that only dragons and other large creatures could do, but they had some human-like features too, arms, human ears, some had thumbs on there hands, but they were too stubby to do anything a normal human could.
The headmaster stumbled back a bit, pulling Emma away from the edge of the saddle. His breathing was calm but small shakes of his breath made the two students nervous. They were silent for a while, sitting and thinking about the creature sent from hell to destroy the world.
"Were going to have to check them out, we can lose them later by the northern mountians, not even mountain goats can climb them, so I doubt they'll be able too." The headmaster closed his eyes, lining his mind with his dragon. The silver beast slowly decended, the ground slowly approaching and the creatures below scattering to the forests below.
"No don't! They'll kill us! Please, let's just go to the trials and come back later with more reinforcements!" Emma shouted over the wind. The headmasters eyes grew hard, his thought already made up.
"There might not be a next time! We don't know that attacked the academy's exept for a few students words, and these make the description, and I'm not waiting for them to do that same to our home, in not letting them destroy my academy!" With each word the Headmasters voice grew, but once again he wasn't directing his threat to anyone, but rather the goddess of fate.
Emma lowered her head, She knew she wouldn't win, and whatever they were going into, headmaster had already made up his mind. She looked back up with a confident smile.
"Then let's make sure we get out of here in one piece." David smiled at her words, leaving headmaster a little shocked, but he was quick to return the confident smile with one of his own.
"Lets do this."

Pink Mage
There are many types of Mages; The Arcane Mages stuck in their towers studiously dedicated to magic and understanding, The Elemental Mages the most powerful and versatile branch, and finally the color mages who are a potent mix of the two. Of the color Mages, there are the primary Red, Blue, Yellow the rare White, Black, Infrared, and Ultraviolet the legendary Gamma and Beta, and finally there are the secondary colors, also known as the mixs Green, Brown, Orange, Purple, and finally Pink. Updates will be sporadic based on inspiration and motivation. Warning: I am a lazy uninspired individual so ya... So the inspiration for this is how everyone online is always a carry or assassin and nobody plays support classes to help the team. Also, there have been studies that the "support" roles at work in RL never get recognition for keeping the company cogs greased and turning. It's always the "top" [employee title] and the extra stuff people do to keep the business running is never appreciated. So I decided to wright Pink Mage. He is a support, though he has spells so he isn't a [Support] and incapable of defending himself. None of the classes are completely useless in a fight or without proper application. But the [Pink Mage] class is bugged so that there is no way to gimp the system to legendary status. All the other Solo legends can... well... Solo, but a [Legendary Pink Mage] can't solo, period. Sure he could cast a mix of spells so that an army is basically chickens on the chopping block but he would still have to go out there and gut them with a knife one by one. I don't own the title image, It was grabbed from public domain. Warning: the content warnings are real, though the content warned of is sporadic. I don't try to right that content specifically but Micky's life won't shy away from it! So yeah, rating R... Note: This is neither a 'Feel Good' or a 'Tragedy' and doesn't have those tags for a reason. This is the 'Real' biography and adventurers of the MC as I see the fantasy universe. So it is neither going to have extra lucky encounters or terrible ones (Except there will be, because you know, story.)
