The walk through the academy halls was short, and Emma had realized just then how much she was going to miss the place. She let her hand skim the wall and a warm and pleasant buzz filled her as she walked.
Headmaster climbed up a few flights of stairs, Emma and David following close behind as the silently tried to walk up them. They stopped at the top and after a few twists and turns in the hallways, then up one last staircase, they had reached their destination to the stables.
They travelled farther then any student needed in order to reach their dragon, but headmasters Dragon was a large beast, almost unmatched in size, second to only the dragons of legend. Headmaster opened up a large door, quietly going on about how he needed to put oil to stop the ear-piercing screech.
With David's help, they managed to get the heavy oak door open and enter the stable, Emma watching in amusement.
The silver Dragon was alseep, but the headmaster soon woke it up as he smiled and covered his Dragon in affection that seemed to do nothing against the giant beast.
"Who's a good boy? Aren't you the most beautiful Dragon to exist? Yes you are!" The headmaster called cheefully. The dragon smiled with pride and extended it's wing, allowing Emma and David to crawl on. The massive saddle place on the dragons back was large enough to carry there luggage and them, and leave lots of space for at least 4 other people.
Emma sat behind David, the two getting comfy for the 5 hour fly.
Emma's eyes opened and closed, an internal fight happing within her head. Headmaster crawled onto the saddle, his shoes creating a squeaking noise against the leather. He sat at the front, and David awkwardly held on to him, his hands clutching the headmasters jacket.

The older man let out a chuckle as the giant old wooden doors opened, two dragons pulling on ropes to get them open. The silver dragon, then walked out, and stepped off the edge.
David screamed like a girl as they fell, headmaster was laughing like a maniac as Emma snuggled closer to David, his warmth comforting to her as she tried to call asleep.
The smell of fresh air woke the girl up, and she had just realized what was going on. The silver dragon was waiting for a command, but the headmaster was just waiting, and Emma knew his game too well. The girl tapped the saddle three times, and the Dragon peeked its head a bit.
Just at the last moment, the Dragon pulled up, and David was breathing heavily, his arms clutching around the headmaster. Emma let out a loud laugh as they picked up speed, flying across the trees that surrounded the academy.
They were flying at a high speeds, the wind licking their faces as they flew by. Emma turned around to look at the academy. Small lights were growing dim as the giant building shrunk. The stars were bright as they left, and looking down, a few deer were running along with the dragon's shadow.
The silver dragon flapped his wings, gaining altitude and speed, easily bypassing the deer below. Trees became smaller as they flew higher, and the temperature dropped the farther they went up. Emma scooted back, abandoning the warmth of David's back as she looked through her suitcase carefully.
She pulled out a black fur coat and quickly put it on, the cold immediately leaving her body.
She scooted back over to David and leaned against him, welcoming the idea of sleep.
David, was not even close to sleeping yet, his heart was beating rapidly from the fall just a few moment's ago.

"Why'd you do that?" David yelled over the noise of the wind. Headmaster gave him a questioning glance and then laughed.
"Oh, that was just to make sure you were awake for the ride of course, although it looks like it didn't work so well for Emma." Headmaster pouted. David was very aware of the sleeping brunette leaning along his back, and he wondered how she could sleep after that heart racing fall.
"Of course, your all the company I need, I have tons of new jokes for the elites later, along with the Northern and western Headmasters." David groaned at the headmasters words, but he couldn't help but smile himself at the thought of getting the thought of the demons earlier out of his head.
"Headmaster. About My academy, what happened to it after the incident?" David asked. After the whole evacuation of his school, the whole case was out into secret along with Jasmine's incident.
Two academy gone in half a year, wouldn't that have raised some alarm bells yet? The happy aura around the headmaster was now gone, and a saddened vibe replced it.
"And what happened to our headmaster, Mrs.Fera?"
"She's gone." He replied blankly.
"What?"
"I said she's gone, and so is your school, now go to sleep, we have give more hours until we get there." Headmaster turned to look at David with a sad smile.
"Now get some sleep."
David's head became light, and his body felt like it floated into the sky. But his body went limp and he blacked out, leaving the headmaster alone with his thoughts.
His Dragon let out a noise of disappointment, and the headmaster mimicked him, but more childish like.
"What was I supposed to tell him? That the academy's are being targeted? Yeah! Let's send the whole capital into a panic!" Headmaster yelled not directly to his dragon, but rather to the spinner of fates.
Frustration filled him as he tried to think about life. Time was running thin for some and he knew not everyone could be saved. The headmaster layed on his dragon, letting the silver beast have full control over the skys.
He took a deep breath, letting the cool air settle his raging thoughts.
"Take us to the northern academy, Comet, that's where were headed." He yawned. His dragon let out a huff of approval as he flapped his wings, speeding up. It's eyes looked up towards the stars, staring at the northern one to find its way to the destination.
But he never noticed the long leaping shadows following them from the shadows of night.
