Everyone experiences a feeling of being alone. Even if that said person is surrounded with family and friends. They give a feeling of comfort, safety, a feeling of being cared about.

They make you feel loved.

But sometimes, one person, with one simple action, can destroy years of built up love and make it come crashing down. So many feelings can pour down at once and no one can take all of those feeling. For no one can heal scars.

Having a heart broken is scarring, and those scars never fade, and it leaves the poor person to confide themselves so they don't have to experience the same feeling once again.

The brunette woke up just before sunrise, the birds still chirping after a fresh blanket of snow had fallen over night. Emma opened the window and was greeted by the sight of students and dragons alike playing in The new snow. Water dragons were blasting snow into piles for their riders to create igloo out of the snow and ice piles.

Emma smiled and quickly got dressed into here school uniform, and clipped on her necklace along her neck, the cool metal touching her skin and sending shivers down her spine.

Classes wouldn't start till later due to the snow, so Emma took the opportunity to unclip the book bag (or David's man purse) and take out the dark book out of its cover.

Just like the night before, the book held the same appearance of and have Emma the chills whenever she looked at the dragon on the cover.

Letting out a breath she was holding, she tried opening the book, only to let her fingers slip from the cover. Tilting the book the the side, Emma noticed that there was a small dark lock, preventing it from being opened.

Letting out a small curse, Emma set the book back in the bag and slid it under her bed before getting back up. She sprayed a little perfume on her and eyed a still sleeping Ashley.

It would have been nice to see Ashley late to class and see her pissed off, but that would only lead to Emma being beaten up; and with all the bite marks on her back, She wouldn't think of how horrible they would be after a beating from Ashley.

Again.

Giving Ashley a light shake, the pink-haired girl groaned as she rolled out of bed. Emma gave a nod and walked out of the room, only to open the door slightly and grab her black coat. She switched her running shoes for some light boots and yell at Ashley.

"Don't forget to keep the room clean!" Ashley gave a 'yeah yeah' and continued to get ready, putting on a whole can of hair spray and perfume.

Emma walked down the frozen pathways, starting at the frosted grass that covered the earth beneath her. She let out a small breath, leaving a trail of where it had been, and walked closer to the tree in the feild.

A bunch of other students were laying around the tree, and none bothered to look at the silver-eyed girl as she approached.

David and Peter were not to far away from the tree when they were blasted with frozen water.

"Aqua! Why? You traitor, you were supposed to hit Peter not me!" David cried. Peter was laying face first in the snow, making snow angels while how face froze off.

The both froze as they heard laughing coming from the big group of people by the tree. Peters eye brows furrowed as he saw a few people pointing at something obscured from view by them.

David truged through the snow as he joined a few others as they climbed the small hill towards the tree to see the commotion, Peter soon reaching his friends side.

When they reached the top, their faces visibly paled.

Emma, was laying in a pile of snow, snowballs being harshly thrown at her as she tried to protect her head with her frozen hands.

David immediately formed a snow barrier around her and Peter had a blue flame glowing in his palm, ready to throw it at anyone who threw another snowball.

"Who did that?" One kid asked

"Why ruin the fun?" Another kid asked.

"Fun!?" Peter asked. His red eyes scanned the crowd of kids that threw the snowballs and they all shivered under his furious gaze. David quickly made his way inside his snow dome to check on Emma.

Laying in the snow was a bruised girl that was wrapped in a white glow. David's hand shook as he went to check on the girl to she if she was alright. Before his hand could even brush her, her silver eyes shot opened and her hand grabbed Davids with an iron grip.

David yelled but maintained his focus on keeping his now ice barrier up to protect the two. Emma's eyes were streaming with tears as her pupils began to grow black.

David tried to tug his hand away from His friend, but it seemed to only make Emma's grip tighter. David winced as the pressure began to cut off the blood to his hand.

"Emma, please..." Emma gave no sign of moving as she continued to tighten her grip, her knuckles turning white.

"Stop."

Emma's grip loosened a bit, and in the moment David slipped his hand out of her's. Her mouth opened and she mouthed something that David could not under stand.

"سيضطر المرء للتضحية لوقفه"

David's face turned into a concerned one. The immense glowing began to fade and Emma was finally able to say something eligible.

"David, the stone in my pocket...." Emma groaned, her eyes continuing to be consumed by a black substance. "Get it...the fuck out."

David hurried and reached into her coat pocket where she had her hand tucked in. He checked her pockets only to find a few mint wrappers and five gold coins.

"David! You ok in there? The teachers are here to help!" Peter's voice sounded muffled as he spoke from the other side of the ice barrier. Emma began to violently shake as her eyes were fluttering rapidly. David started to panic and look at Emma's closed fist, tightly clenching something for dear life.

"Just give me a second!" David yelled back, just enough for Peter to hear. David began to pry Emma hand open as she huffed, her veins pulsing black.

When David opened up her hand he saw that her hand was all burnt up, and a stone had seemed to try and burrow into her skin.

"Take it out." Emma hissed in pain. David began to pull in the rock, but it only seemed to burrow deeper into the poor girls skin.

David continued to pry it off, and it seemed to be working.

Until Emma pounced on him.

Pinning David on the ice barrier, her left hand was around David's neck as her pitch black eyes stared into David's blue ones. Tear were but a ghost as her right hand was continuing to be consumed by the dark substance.

She raised her fist high up behind her head and was ready to strike.

"Emma!" David choked. "Don't do this,"

"Please."

Emma didn't move once again, her fist stopped as she listened to David's cry.

"For the love of the white dragon stop this nonsense!"
