Duke Xue Cheng rushed in as he saw Consort Ling Fe's palace on fire with the maids, servants and guards rushing to take out the fire as Duke Xue Cheng was filled with worry.

"Where's Madam Ling!?!?" All the maids and guards all were bowing, they couldn't do anything as one guard bowed and decided to talk first." Strange men in black clothes had appeared and they had set the fire to Consort Ling Fe's quarters. The men in black clothes had run away and the fire was too big to go in and Consort Ling Fe and her maid never made it out."

Duke Xue Cheng was about to rush in as he was held back by the servants. "Duke don't go in!!!"

"Fe!!!!" He yelled just when Xue Liang and Liu Gang arrived. The fire had them burnt down the roof of it as it crashed down.

"Mother!!!" Xue Liang yelled as Liu Gang held her back. "Father! What happened!?"

"Someone killed your mother!!!" Her father said angrily as he never felt anger this much in a long time. "Guards set the fire out and find the ones who started this fire! Their punishment is death!" Liu Gang held Xue Liang as morning rose, Consort Ling Fe's quarters were burned down, they found two burnt bodies that had what Consort Ling Fe and Su Lei's clothes wore on their body but their faces were not recognized by all the fire damage.

A funeral was held days later as Duke Zhen Tao came up. Xue Liang was crying as Liu Gang hugged her close. Su Rong was with Peng Lim as the coffins arrived. Two coffins arrived, Duke Zhen Tao looked to see Su Lei's coffin. "Duke Zhen, what brings you here to my wife and her maid's funeral?"

"Duke Xue, I would like to know what happened and I would like to help you find the one who started the fire." Duke Zhen Tao looked at him, setting down a lily flower onto Su Lei's coffin.

"If you really do wish to help me find the killer then we both must swear loyalty." Minister Xue said.

"Very well. I'm only here to find the one who killed them. It is a pleasure to work with you. What is the punishment for the killer once we find them?" Duke Zhen Tao then asked with a murderous look.

"The punishment is death. The killer would be spared no mercy." Xue Ya had a shocked look as she didn't think her father would care for a lowly Consort. Xue Liang and Liu Gang saw her reaction, they just needed to get evidence to lead Xue Ya at fault and that she was the one who started it all.

The bodies were burned fully with the ashes of the body flying away. Su Rong was then walking side by side with Peng Lim as Duke Zhen Tao looked at her as Peng Lim held her around the shoulder close. "Do you need something with my wife?"

Peng Lim then asked with a defensive glare. "No." Duke Zhen Tao then turned to talk with Duke Xue Cheng in his studies. Su Rong was confused as she never knew who he was.

Peng Lim took her by the hand as they went out, going back to Liu Gang's Manor. "Are you okay Liang?" Liu Gang asked while she hugged him.

"I'm okay. Lei is with her so I'm happy. We have to expose Sister Ya somehow. My father is searching and working together with Duke Zhen Tao." Xue Liang then went to the bath as she undressed, going inside she soaked herself.

Her heart felt the need to take revenge but she didn't want to. Knowing that her mother was gone, she couldn't take revenge and do the same to Madam Shen Jun. Madam Shen Jun always treated her like her own child but not as much.

Xue Liang dressed herself as she saw her sword that hasn't been touched in awhile. She grabbed it as she took it out. The night wind was blowing by as Liu Gang heard a sword slashing. He was with Peng Lim and Su Rong as they saw in the yard, Xue Liang was practicing with her sword as Liu Gang dismissed the two.

They left together as he jumped across the pond going to Xue Liang, taking out his sword as they both clashed together. "My wife seems to lack a bit in her sword right now."

She struck him as he dodged it. Both fought as their swords could be heard clashing as they kept fighting. Xue Liang felt her heart lighten up, she struck again but her sword was then forced out of her hand as it flew stabbing the rooftop where a spy from Xue Ya was nearly killed. The sword landed in between his legs as it was close to his manhood. The spies then left as they didn't want to know what would happen if the couple kept fighting.

"Husband!" Xue Liang said as he then ran up to her. Kissing her lips, his tongue went past her lips. The kiss felt like an eternity as he separated looking hungrily at her.

"It was the only way to get them out and running but you seem to have now calmed down after this little fight. Would you like to do more with this husband of yours?" Liu Gang asked, looking at her smirking.

Xue Liang couldn't help but blush at his words and see his mesmerizing eyes. She then kissed him again as he was surprised by her sudden action. "I want..." She turned away blushing as she didn't want to exactly say the words.

"..." Liu Gang was waiting as he didn't know if what he was thinking was what she wanted.

"I'm going to sleep." She was about to run off as he then caught her wrist as he then threw her over his shoulder.

"You're not being honest, I'll have to force it out of you." Liu Gang said as he carried her to their bed chamber as he tossed her onto the bed.
