Weeks passed, Xue Liang was drinking tea outside as they watched the pond full of koi's. Su Rong was sitting down also as Xue Liang saw her limping her whole time. She couldn't help but laugh in her head. "It seems as though you and Lim have been in a good mood." Su Rong only blushed when she knew Xue Liang and Liu Gang knew what they had been doing. "Nevertheless, how is Sister Ya and Prince Ye Ping? Have they been up to something again?"
Su Rong nodded as she needed to inform her. "Sister Ya is planning to kill your mother. What do you wish to do?" Su Rong asked. Xue Liang got up and smiled. "Let's get my father into this."
Getting up, Liu Gang saw Xue Liang, he saw from the looks she was up to something again. "Is my wife planning something again?" He went up to her as she didn't expect him to be there.
"Nothing, husband should've told me when he was back." Xue Liang looked at him as he held her around the waist.
"Wife, don't lie to me. I won't allow you to be off this time. If your doing something then I'm involved." He wouldn't let her go as she sighed looking at him.
"Ya plan to kill my mother, but I thought of a plan that my mother has to be involved in." He released her as he took her by the hand.
"You're not going alone. I'm going with you, but there is something that you must know about your mother."
"What do you mean?" Xue Liang questioned.
"Lim has done some search and your mother is sick due to Ya leaving her poisonous incense." Xue Liang became wide eyed, rushing to the entrance as she was going to visit her mother. Liu Gang followed after her, they went to the Xue Manor.

"Mother!" Consort Ling Fe was resting in her room as her father was sitting beside her. Xue Liang sighed, going to sit beside them. "How is mother? I heard that you've been sick lately mother." Consort Ling Fe nodded as she was more pale than usual. Xue Liang hugged her mother resting her head on her mother's chest. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"A mother can only help her daughter find happiness before she leaves."
"Fe don't say that." Duke Xue Cheng said as he had a serious and sad tone. Ling Fe looked at him as she smiled at him weakly. "Husband being with you has been my happiest moment. Having our children and promises. I'm sorry I won't be able to stay longer with you and our kids." She held his hand as he rubbed her cheek.
Xue Liang went to stand near Liu Gang as her father and mother stayed together holding each other and talking about the past. Xue Li and Xue Yahui we're sniffling as they sat near her.
Xue Liang left the room with Liu Gang walking silently behind her. "Liang?" He called out as she hugged him crying into his chest. Liu Gang hugged her back but she kept crying. He could only comfort her with his hug and words. "It's okay. I'll make sure to help your mother. We'll figure it out together." She nodded in his chest as he held her chin to look at him wiping her tears. "Don't cry like this all the time. I won't be able to withstand it." She nodded as he kissed her.
_____
Xue Ya was there as she clenched her fist. "Liang, your mother won't be alive for much longer." She left as she met up with her men. "Get rid of her mother tonight or else you all won't be heard from again." She rushed off as they got ready.

Peng Lim was there watching them as he reported back to Liu Gang and Xue Liang. "She plans to get rid of your mother tonight. What do you plan to do?"
"We'll have to talk with your mother and ask her for her cooperation." They went off to Consort Ling Fe's room as Duke Xue Cheng had left to the emperor.
Ling Fe was waiting for them as she saw them come in. "What does my daughter and son-in-law want?"
"Mother, can you help us with something?" She looked to them as they all decided to discuss the situation about Xue Ya wanting to kill her.
"Alright I'll help you but my time is running out so I see no need to rescue me." She said.
"Mother! We can help you. You just need to be in a different environment. You've known for years that the air in this place has been filled with poison but you still insisted on staying here. I cannot let you remain here."
"My sweet daughter, I did it because I loved your father. If I don't survive I will forever love him and never forget him. Promise me you will take care of him and your brothers." Xue Liang cried as she nodded. Hugging her mother as they soon left.
"Mother, I won't let you die." She said.
_____
Spies entered the Xue Manor as they went to Consort Ling Fe's quarters as they had set a fire. Everything burned as Ling Fe and Su Lei were in the fire. They ran with the place all burning and crashing down. "Fe! Over here!" They were surrounded by fire as Ling Fe soon fainted as she coughed up blood. "Fe!!!" Su lei held her close as the fire was burning. She cried as figures in black suits then showed up.

Child of Dusk
Life can be cruel, especially to those who don't fit in. But what would you do if you were given a second chance? Tim was a nobody during his time on Earth. As a penniless orphan with no friends to speak of, life was tough for him in his little Arizona town in the '90s. He'd utterly lost hope for the future until one day, he was reincarnated as Alvanue, beloved daughter and heir to the Starlit Throne of Silthonduen. Now, Alvanue has everything a princess could ever want: a loving family, loyal comrades and an entire kingdom at her finger tips. But what good is a kingdom when there's a whole world of magic and mystery out there to explore? *** Ok! Disclaimer time. I do edit my own work and I do not have a beta reader, so please feel free to point out any errors or plot holes (politely, of course). Each chapter will be around 4,000 to 6,000 words long and while I was posting every day at the beginning, I think I'll cut that down to once a week for now, excluding bonus chapters! I really don't want to get burned out. I started writing this because I love world building, so this is gonna be heavy on lore. If you're not into that, there's still a ton of character progression and action to look forward to! It's going to be slow at the beginning, but I promise it will pick up eventually. Thanks for checking my story out, I appreciate it a lot!

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
