Xue Liang was excited for her new sibling, she stayed with her mother almost everyday. Listening to her mother's belly when she loved the baby when it kicked. There were times when she missed seeing Liu Gang but she felt that they would meet again. Her heart was patient.

"Big sister can't wait until you are born. Big sister hopes that you are a boy." The baby kicked again making her giggle with her mother smiling looking down at her happy child. Duke Xue Cheng appeared, he knelt down to listen to Consort Ling Fe's belly. He felt the baby kick which made his expression grow happy.

"Father hopes that you are born into this world with great strength." Soon a physician occurred being sent to check on Consort Wan Bao. Duke Xue Cheng had to leave to see his first consort. She was soon found to be with child also.

Xue Liang was sitting down with her mother. Xue Liang had then seen a bush rustle with men in black suits jumping out. They covered her mother's mouth and nose with a cloth as they held her from moving. Kidnapping Consort Ling Fe and Xue Liang.

Xue Liang was awake, seeing the men were there as her mother was laying down near her. Xue Liang shifted, she was a baby tiger. Biting the rope off her mother as she shifted back. "Mother, wake up. We have to get out of here." Consort Ling Fe woke up seeing her daughter trying to get her up. Looking around, she couldn't shift because it could harm her child.

"Liang follows me. Hold your breath." Ling Fe had to use her secret powder that she kept with her. Making those in the room sleep deeply if used. She threw it to the outside of the cell with powder forming everywhere.

Covering her mouth with her cloth, one man held his sword while Consort Ling Fe could only move slightly as the sword was loosen in the man's hand, cutting her slightly. The man however was soon affected by the sleeping powder.

Breaking the wooden cell, she took her daughter. Getting out of the place, she saw that the powder had a deep effect. Making it out, they traveled far enough but she stopped and felt her water break. "Ah!" Clutching her belly it was aching, making her cry in pain.

"Mother, are you okay!?" Xue Liang looked at her with concern, helping her mother.

"Let's go to this place. We have to get your sibling out now." Consort Ling Fe said. They knocked on a stranger's door. Opening up was a man servant as Xue Liang was desperate for help.

"Please! Let my mother come in. She needs a physician!" Looking at him but he was unsure what to do.

"I can't let my master be upset." The manservant remained fearful of his master.

"Please! My mother is in labor! I want to save both of them!" Her mother fell down after a familiar boy Xue Liang met was now in front of her.

"What's going on!?" Liu Gang had a serious look at him looking at his manservant.

"M-Master Liu! I'm sorry these people were-" Being cut off in mid sentence.

"Please help my mother! Please, I want to save my mother and my sibling!" Yelling to him, she clung to his hand. He was surprised by the sudden hand holding his. Liu Gang looked down to see an amber eye girl making his heart felt the need to help her. He couldn't stop looking at her amber desperate eyes.

"You get a midwife and a physician!" Looking at the man servant as he bowed and ran off to find one. Liu Gang had called upon some maids to help Xue Liang's mother into a room.

"Mother, hold on! If only those men didn't kidnap us then this wouldn't be happening!" Liu Gang held Xue Liang by the shoulder.

They weren't allowed to enter the room with the midwife and physician going in with maids. Xue Liang was crying, Liu Gang felt anger in his heart that men would kidnap this girl and her mother.

"Little girl, did you see what the men looked like?" Xue Liang shook her head looking up to Liu Gang.

"They just took me and my mother. Mother had to do something to escape. The men wearing black suits had a mask on." Xue Liang sobbed. Liu Gang could only look at her amber tear filled eyes then setting her on his lap.

He soon took out a handkerchief wiping her eyes. "Don't cry. Tell me your name. I'll tell you mine."

"My name is Xue Liang." She said sniffling while still wiping her eyes.

"I'm Liu Gang. Little one, I'll send someone to tell your father to come here. Let's pray that your mother will give birth safely." Soon hearing her mother in pain urged Xue Liang to go in but Liu Gang held her back. "Not yet! We have to wait. We can't go in until the baby is born." Liu Gang held her back seeing her sob but hugged him around the neck after.

"I want to find those men. They hurt their mother." Sobbing, Liu Gang hugged her back and patted her back.

"I'll help you. Little one, I'll help you find those men." Xue Liang looked at him and nodded.

"Thank you Gang. Liang will one day repay you. She promises." Xue Liang held out her pinkie which Liu Gang couldn't help but smile and intertwine their pinkies together.

"You better keep your promise then." Liu Gang told her as he smiled.

"Liang always keeps her promise." Xue Liang laid her head on his chest until there was only her breathing left that was heard with time passing. Duke Xue Cheng rushed in to yell at Liu Gang.

"Shh..." Liu Gang said as silently as possible. Duke Xue Cheng saw his sleeping daughter in his arms.

"Where's my wife?" Duke Xue Cheng said. They heard a baby's cry in the room. Rushing in the room, Consort Ling Fe was exhausted but looking at her son. The physician had stitched her cut with her pale complexion.

"Congratulations. She gave birth to a son. Very healthy and active." The midwife said. Duke Xue Cheng went to see his son. His black hair and open amber eyes. Duke Xue Cheng then looked at his consort worriedly.

He looked down to see his son after. "Father is so happy that your safe with your mother. Fe, thank you for giving me a son. You've been through a lot. His name will be Xue Li." He kissed his consort's forehead next, Liu Gang brought their sleeping daughter into the room.

"Liang fell asleep crying her heart out." Liu Gang said to them. Duke Xue Cheng then went to him as he needed to get his daughter back.

"I'm sorry. My daughter must've gone through something traumatic. We must return back soon." He then tried to take Xue Liang from Liu Gang when she was still asleep. She had tightly clung onto Liu Gang's dark blue robe.

"Gang..." Xue Liang mumbled. Liu Gang felt his heart jump a little.

"You can stay here for the night. Your wife may have been through a lot and it's best that she rests here. Those men could come back and harm your wife and children." Duke Xue Cheng then thought about it as he looked to his wife who nodded.

"Thank you General Liu. I will repay you one day." Liu Gang then chuckled a little hearing those words.

"Your daughter said the same thing. She wished for me to find the men who kidnapped them." Liu Gang said, looking at Xue Liang.

"Do you have any idea who those men could've been?" Duke Xue Cheng said, looking at Liu Gang.

"If I had to say then it may probably be someone who you offended or a jealous person. Any sound familiar?" Liu Gang said. Consort Ling Fe was weakly looking at him and knew who would have planned this out. "Do any of you have a clue who could've done this?" Liu Gang looked at them both as they didn't say anything. "We'll talk this all out in the morning. I only wish to fulfill this little girl's promise. I cannot break it." He looked at Xue Liang as he smiled looking at her sleeping.

Consort Ling Fe looked at him and it seemed as though he had a soft spot for her. "General Liu, since you're doing it for my daughter then I will allow you to investigate this matter." The night was quiet as morning came by fast until they needed to discuss more.

Xue Liang woke up, finding herself in a strange room. She then ran out and went to find her mother then saw her mother outside with a little baby.

"Mother!" Xue Liang ran hugging her mother's waist then looking up to meet her face to face.

"Your awake Liang. Meet your baby brother, Xue Li. He has our eyes." Xue Liang was able to see him. His eyes were amber as hers and hair as black. She smiled at him then saw him smile back.

"He's so cute! Mother, thank you for giving me a baby brother!" She yelled happily.

"Don't forget me." Duke Xue Cheng showed up then carried Xue Liang in his arms.

"What did father do?" Xue Liang was confused looking at him.

"Father he-" He was cut off with Consort Ling Fe's hand.

"Husband, don't tell her! She's too young!" Consort Ling Fe covered his mouth but he smiled knowing how to tease also. Removing her hand, he kissed her lips as a quick peck.

"One day, Liang will understand." Her father said. Soon Liu Gang showed up, Xue Liang went down from her father's arms and ran up to him.

"Liang wants to thank you." She went down to her knees and bowed her head but he denied her from getting to her knees.

"No need. Liang is very generous and respectful." She smiled at him while he only smiled back. His purple eyes were very beautiful from her point of view.

"General Liu, we thank you for your hospitality. We must return back now." Duke Xue Cheng said going up to Liu Gang.

"Aww... I wanted to spend more time with Gang." Xue Liang then said sadly.

"It's okay. General Liu can come visit us anytime since he is like our own family. Liu Gang, come visit us anytime you like." Consort Ling Fe said, smiling at him. He nodded as they all left. Liu Gang felt saddened that Xue Liang was leaving but he felt different with her. He always felt cold around others but she was different.

At the Xue Manor, they all saw the family enter. The new bundle of joy was smiling and looking around. Madam Shen Jun was happy for a son of the Xue family to continue its legacy. She didn't mind sharing husbands but they needed an heir.

She was the one who made a deal with Consort Ling Fe to have her become her husband's consort. Consort Wan Bao was angered though. She had the look to kill Consort Ling Fe and her children. Consort Ling Fe knew her well and wanted to protect her children.

"Madam Wan, I hope that your child will be a boy as well." Ling Fe said. Smiling and holding her newborn son. Although Consort Ling Fe knew that Consort Wan Bao's child wasn't Xue Cheng's. She felt pity for the child though. She chose not to expose her since she wanted the child to be born and enjoy its life.
