"He's a fucking bastard! You did a good thing to quit this job."

"Yeah" I took a sip of my kalimotxo drink: "But I'm unemployed now."

"Would you rather continue working for this dude?"

"No, of course not. I'm just saying the job itself was a great job. And maybe I'd still enjoy this job if I, you know, hadn't let the boss fuck me. I'm really fucking stupid."

"Hey, stop it. You did what you did because you enjoyed it at some point. Now you don't, so you cut it off. Of course there are always some consequences and, sadly, one of them is losing your good job. But I'm sure you'll find a new one soon. Just try not to complicate and mix work and private life next time and you'll be fine. " she said and chuckled. Yeah, she was right.

" I know, I know. But my next job can't have a hot boss. One was more than enough. " I made a joke.

"Enough of the work talk, we came here to forget about all of our responsibilities not to talk about them!" she took my hand and walked towards the dancefloor. We started dancing and a wave of nostalgia hit me. I forgot how good it felt to dance off all your worries, leting the music take you. R&B music was my favorite. Sensual music with a good beat.

Slowly, some cute guys came closer and introduced themselves. Nina knew half of them already as they were her ex co-workers. We started dancing together.

" I have to pee!" I annouced.

Nina nodded: "Do you want me to come with you?"

"No, no, I'm good. Stay here."

The way to the restroom was so crowded that it gave me anxiety every now and then and I had to constantly remind myself that I'm okay. I hate crowded places.

Finally, I arrived to the restroom. The mix of cheap perfumes with sweaty girls instantly attacked me.

I did what I had to do and left the restroom as quick as possible. On my way back to the dancefloor, I noticed a couple walking opposite of me.

A long haired blonde woman was hugging him - Eric. And the woman was not his wife.

The last person I wanted to see at that moment.

The second I noticed his face, I looked away and tried to stay as invisible as I could so he wouldn't notice me.

I was walking very fast, looking to the ground and soon they passed me. The feeling of relief calmed my nervous body. As I relaxed, someone grabbed my elbow and harshly turned me around.

"Did you really think I won't notice you?"

Eric's face looked scary to me now. I was once happy to see him but now I was so scared of him being close to me.

"Let me go." I tried to move my arm away but he was holding me very tight.

"Stop that. Stop pushing me away, Em." his tone was low but agressive.

"I'm Emily for you. Now let me go or I'll make a scene. We're done."

He let me go just to grab me by my waist and pull me closer to his body.

We were inches apart and I felt like a toy he enjoyed playing with.

I was STILL turned on by him, I can't lie. But It wasn't the same anymore.

I was awake now.

"I can't let you go dressed like that. You shouldn't wear these clothes in public. You're underdressed for this place but" his other hand moved down to reach the ends of my dress, slowly lifting it up, his thumbs brushing my thigh " you're overdressed being so close to me."
