The next couple of hours went by very fast. I've done some work but mostly, I've fantasized about Eric. Duh.
No one has ever turned me on that much. Not even my ex, James. We've had a solid sex life. But Eric wakes up a wild beast inside of me only with his voice.
It was 4 p.m already and I was already feeling hungry. I decided to get some food and a cup of coffee. A dark one to keep me focused. As if.
I locked my office and as I tried to turn around, I bumped into someone. I put my hands up in defense: "Fuck!" As I opened my eyes, I saw a man with spilled coffee in his hands. "Shit, I'm so sorry!" I screamed in horror, noticing I destroyed his white shirt.
"It's fine, it's fine. Don't worry about it. I was..." he stopped talking when we finally got to see eachother's faces. Oh shit.
"Wait, aren't you the girl from the bar?" he asked, now smiling. Fuck you, Nina.
I felt my cheeks heating up:"Oh god, I'm so sorry. My friend can be a bit.."
"Crazy." he finished my sentence, but was still smiling. I shrugged:" I meant to say childlish but crazy will do."
He chuckled, showing off his dimples:"Well, do you always attack people like that? Do you, like, choose a new victim every day and attack.."
I sighed:" No, I'm really sorry about this. This is really a pure coincidence. I didn't mean to destroy your day." Goddamn. This is so awkward.
He smiled, " Relax, I'm joking. But I don't believe in coincidences. And destroy? No, you made my day so much more interesting. Don't be sorry about that. "

" Yeah, but I am. I mean"- I pointed at his stained shirt-"I just destroyed your shirt."
He shook his head:" It's really not a big deal. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose." I smiled, thinking of how to end this awkward encounter.
"I'm Nick." he jumped and offered me a hand. He was still smiling and I can't deny he has one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen. The dimples making it so much more attractive.
"Emily. Nice to meet you." I shook his hand, noticing how soft his hands are. Eric has a bit rougher skin. Probably because he's at least 20 years older than him.
"So, you work here?"
"Yeah, I'm a secretary. What are you doing here?" I asked him, knowing I have never seen him here before.
"Also working. Kind of." he half smiled and it made me a bit curious. I was about to ask him what does that mean but he overtook me:" I have to run but it was really nice meeting you. Emily." he winked and took off. Oh. Now I understand why Nina couldn't keep her hands to herself.
