I washed my face and tied my hair into a bun and wore a sweatpants with zayden shirt.

I just don't want zayden to burn the kitchen cause he knows nothing about cooking so if I leave him to cook he is gonna make kitchen a mess..

A.Total. Mess..!

When I walked inside the kitchen, I saw zayden washing vegetables and he was speaking with alex.

Alex turned towards me and his mouth opened in shock and I know the reason. What did I even wear zayden shirt..?

I felt like digging a hole and crawling inside it..

"um.. hye " I said waving at him

"oh.. hello cutie " he looked at zayden once and then back at me "you are glowing..did you apply any makeup "

"nah..! " I said looking down

"Then why is your face glowing.. " he was teasing me, I turned towards zayden, he smiled "come here angel " then he turned to alex "and you don't tease her "

He pulled me towards him giving me a bear hug, I inhaled his scent and wrapped my hand around his waist.

"so I guess date went very well " Alex said giving a playful smile "anyways cutie what is zayden doing in kitchen "

"preparing breakfast "

alex started laughing "cutie let me tell you one thing, this dude is very bad in cooking "

"not my problem he was the one who made the promise " I said looking at zayden " I regret writing that " zayden replied

"Don't tell me you wrote that in promise cards " Alex looked at zayden

"I did " zayden replied throwing carrot towards Alex.

"want any help in preparing breakfast " I asked zayden

"I don't know anything, today you teach me next time I will cook for you " he said kissing my cheek.

"dude can you not do that in front of me " alex said sitting on counter

I helped zayden In preparing breakfast.

"why are you wearing his shirt " alex asked

"what question is that " zayden interrupted Alex

"no.I hope you guys didn't do something cause I don't remember you asking me to buy anything other than promise cards " he said

"buy what..?! " I asked Alex

zayden chocked while drinking water.

"will you shut up and have food " zayden gave alex a death glare.

Alex moved his finger in front of his mouth as if he is zipping his mouth virtually.

We continued having breakfast later something hit my mind and I chocked while eating pasta.

"you okay " zayden gave me water.

What the hell..!

I now got to know what alex meant earlier and why chocked while drinking water.

God..! We didn't use any protection.

I lost all appetite.

I didn't speak anything about this topic with zayden nor did he speak anything.

Alex stayed with us all day, they both played basketball for sometimes and then we went out for a walk.

During break time , instead of sitting alone I sat with William, zayden, Alex and jannet along with her cousins.

Jannet didn't make any move against me or tried getting closer to zayden.

William had kept his phone on table, his phone buzzed, without my notice my eyes drifted towards his phone and I saw a message from azra..!

He turned his phone and continued eating.

"William are you texting azra..?! " I asked

"what..?! have lunch Harriet "

"seriously you are hiding this from me " I asked staring at him.

"don't look at me like that, Iam texting her since your marriage, I just wanted to ask her sorry for whatever I did " he said, he was unable to meet my eyes and I could see he is guilty about whatever he did.

"don't tell me you like her "

"I do, I always did..! but you misunderstood me, I know you heard about the bet but that was not the only reason why I wanted to take her out on a date, I really liked her.. "

Shit..! Did I ruin one good relationship.

"iam sorry " I said looking down

"why are you asking sorry, whatever you did was better. At least she is speaking with me now. If she would have got to know about all this after our date she would have hated me.. " he said

"So are you guys dating now " I asked

"I guess she has someone in her life now.. "

I really felt very bad for my brothers. Both of them like azra and now she is with someone else.

I was thinking of ways in which I can help William when zayden held my hand in his and kissed my knuckles.

I turned to face him, he gave me a beautiful smile. This is what I want to see when iam tensed, his one and only million dollar smile.

"what's wrong..?! you seem tensed " he said looking at the road.

"It's complicated.. " I sigh

"I can solve any complications.. "

"William likes azra, azra loved William, Noah likes azra, rose likes Noah.. how to solve this puzzle..! "

"It's way more complicated than I thought, you don't take tension angel, I know somehow this is gonna get sorted, they all need time " he said

"no they need someone to push them in the track just like Alex did to you " I said

"he dated me so that you will get jealous and know your true feelings.. "

He stopped the car and turned towards me "what..?! he said that, like did he tell he is just acting to like you so that I will get jealous..? "

zayden held both my hands in his "angel I want to tell you something.. "

" Alex really likes you a lot, I got to know this long back , I wanted to back off and I swear I tried to but you know I became selfish cause I fell in love with you, I wanted you to be mine... iam so bad angel. he saved my life, he saved your life... I could see how much he likes you but I couldn't give him his happiness. He was always there for me when I needed, I should have backed off and let you guys date. I actually tried my level best not to interrupt you guys but when I saw you with him in kitchen preparing breakfast, I was jealous, I was worried that iam gonna lose you forever " he pulled me towards him wrapping his hands around my shoulder, this is first time iam seeing zayden like this "I will give Alex anything he wants but I can't give you angel, you are my everything, I just couldn't give him his happiness...! iam not worth his friendship..I just cannot share you with anyone " he said kissing me forehead.

What iam I supposed to say, I knew alex liked me but I never knew he liked me in that way..!

God.. another complication.

Alex is one of the sweetest person I have met, iam sure his life partner is the most luckiest girl. He is very good at hiding his feelings. Why does he always think about others..? why can't he be selfish..?

"zayden I want to speak with Alex alone.. " I said.

he just nodded.

"babe please don't leave me " zayden said with low voice

"you are lucky zayden cause I really love you a lot... " I said pecking his cheek.

Alex was helping me in preparing dinner.

"alex I want to ask you something..?! " I said cutting vegetables

"do you like me..?! " he stopped doing work and his eyes were glued to ground after few seconds he turned to look at me and said " yes.. "

Iam feeling so bad right now, I can't explain..

"zayden told you this.. " he asked

"Actually I liked you the day I met you but to be honest I used to see you like my sister-in-law, you being so quite and calm made me like you more but you know what ? from the start I know you loved him and so does he... thank god my feelings towards you didn't increase cause after few days of your marriage I got to know how much zayden loves you. The way he fought with ward of dorm to let you stay in the same room as jannet and when I got to know he was the one behind suspension of the boy who treated you badly most importantly when I saw your pictures in his phone and the way he stares at your pictures , I realised that my bloody cold hearted best friend loves you a lot more than anyone can love you... so no worries , I still like you but as my sister-in-law, I promise no hard feelings..! " he said winking at me.

"zayden told you liked me and he is feeling bad that he didn't give us a chance, he is actually feeling very guilty and I guess both of you need to speak about this matter and clear this out.. " I said taking the dishes outside

"don't worry cutie nothing can effect our friendship.. anyways he once gave me his girlfriend already I don't want to take his wife away from him.. "

"oh you don't know.. ask him.. and yea one thing I love the most is making him jealous " saying this alex kissed my cheek and someone cleared their throat, I turn around to see zayden standing in front of us...
