I changed my dress, took a towel for zayden , when mom suddenly asked "Harriet, where were you.. "

chuck it..! I am telling, I told mom everything, for few seconds I felt she was very serious but then when I tried to understand her expression I got to know that she is controlling her laughter.

"mom " I said almost crying. with that she burst out laughing.

"you know - I can't believe you are telling about my cold son, he did that to you, aww that was cute.. " mom said

"mom he almost killed me, what was cute in that.? " I asked crossing my hands in front of my chest

"oh my girl, he wants to spend time with you and moreover nothing would have happened to you.. "

" cause you were with zayden.. " she said

"mom you are speaking like him, he said the same.. " I regretted as soon as words left my lips cause the way mom was grinning , I was sure mom is gonna take up this topic later.

"You should listen to words he is speaking lately mom, after coming here iam getting heart attacks now and then. " I said rolling my eyes.

My eyes fell on zayden who was now walking in my direction after swimming. He was wearing only his sweatpants, his hair wet , few droplets falling from his hair, his face shinning and he was looking extra fair. water dripping down his body.

His abs are like Oh My God..!!his muscles are so blazing, iam suddenly feeling very thirsty.

The way he is walking is magnificent and water droplets on his body are making him look more hot. I tried not to look at him but my eyes were betraying me, zayden looked at me and smirked running his finger in his hair.

He came and stood in front of me, my eyes scanned his hair then his sexy eyes then his nose and finally his mouth watering jawline but then I stopped realising what the hell I was doing, i was checking him out..!

he leaned closer to me and I leaned away from him which made him smirk more, he pulled me to him, my head collided with his hard bare chest.. God..! he is so fucking hot..!

"so angel.. what's the reason that you couldn't take your eyes off me. My good looks or my good looks.. " he asked raising an eyebrow.

"I -I wasn't looking at you, I was looking at that bird.. " I was shuttering while speaking.

he moved away from me "take this.. " I gave him towel and turned around, now my back was facing him.

"angel , what do you think should I gain some more weight..? " he asked casually.

His hands snaked around my stomach from behind and he pulled me back to him, I could feel his abs pressed to my back, I inhaled deeply, he buried his face in crook of my neck running his nose from my neck till my cheek "angel you said you weren't looking at me.. " his voice was husky. I felt lump formed in my throat. "baby tell something.. " he said placing his lips on my cheek, I know he is joking..! " ser-ious-ly, I think in no time my heart will pop out from my mouth.. " I said, I could feel his lips curling up. "hmmm...!! " he was humming while his lips were below my ear, chill ran down my spine when pressed his lips deeper in my skin.

"Harriet.. " sudden voice made us both move away.

It was Stella.. thank god..!

"uh..you guys come to terrace,we are gonna start game.. " she said and turned to leave, zayden held my hand in his.

"Stella you want any help.. " I asked purposely cause I can't stand with zayden here anymore. This tension is something I cant handle at once.

"Help me in carrying snacks. " she said, I just nodded.

Zayden was still holding my hand "she wants help.. " I said looking at him

"yea that's because you were very desperate to run away from me. " he said

"what..? " I never expected him to know that.

"help me in picking clothes and then you can leave.. " he said

"I have kept your clothes on bed.. " I replied

"Okay..! " he left my hand, I could feel he is disappointed.

Bonfire was set up outside and around that soft four mattresses were laid in four sides. Bowl of chocolates, chips, pancakes, popcorn were placed on each mattresses.

It was very cold outside so stella and I went to get us quilts.

I thought I will sit with mom but the scenary in front of me was different, mom and dad were on one mattress, next to them were Mr and Mrs. Christopher, next to them nathan was sitting using his phone and on the last mattress zayden was sleeping. So now I get why mom asked us to lay four mattress..!

I went and sat on mattress and zayden was sleeping next to me.

"okay okay guys.. how about playing a game.. " stella said

"we are up for any game.. " mom replied

I turn to see zayden sleeping with his arm placed on his eyes.

"zayden.. " I called him

"hmm"

"get up.. they are going to play some game "

"hmm"

something is wrong with him.

"zayden..! " this time my voice was little commanding.

"hmm" swear iam gonna kill this man. He is testing my patience.

"nothing.. " he said and turned around, his backside was facing me.

I was about to question him again but mom spoke before to that "zay you aren't playing.. " she asked

he turned around and placed his hand on his palm with his elbow resting on mattress.

I was just staring at him, like seriously..?

"oh, if you are not ready to take the love and care which iam showing towards you, why should I bother myself,i don't like pestering you..?! " he said in very serious tone.

don't tell me ! he is mad at me cause of today's incident.

"zayden you don't undrestand I didn't mean --" before I could complete he interrupted "it's okay angel.. "

"attention.. we will start with simple game, how about knowing each others likes, fantasy, secrets..! " nathan asked everyone, for which everyone agreed.

"okay, who is the most important person in your life, like the person you love the most.. " Mrs. Christopher asked

"it's obviously you.. " Mr. Christopher replied.

Mom and dad told each other's name.

"well I need to think.. " stella said rubbing her temple

"baby it's obviously me, stop acting" nathan said kissing her in lips.

Okay.. that was actually very cute, they look so good together, I must say nathan loves stella very much.. aww such a cute couple.. I was admiring them when suddenly my eyes darted towards mom, she wasn't looking at stella and nathan but she was looking at me and zayden.

"I love this young couple, this is how newly married couple should be.. " mom said still looking towards us.

I got to know the real motive behind mom bringing them, she wants us to see them..!

Next was our turn, obviously we won't tell each other's name.

"my mom is my world.. " zayden said, I knew that, he is mommy's boy.

"and you Harriet. " mom asked

"Noah.. he is most precious for me " I said and that is true, for me noah is my everything.

"really..? I thought zayden is gonna say harriet's name and Harriet will say zayden but its , I don't know, Harriet are you sad..? " stella asked

"don't worry few more days, you will be his priority" mom said

"uh.. no no mom, you will always remain first no matter what,i don't want to be first Iam happy if he gives me second place in his life. " I said looking at him.

"aww that was touchy.. " stella said making cute face.

"I guess my daughter-in-law always forgets about her dad.. " dad said. oh shit..!

"zay you also want to be in second place " mom asked him

"what..?No..obviously I want to be her first priority. " he said and Iam sure everyone was shocked by his words.

I turn to look at him with confused as well as surprised look on my face.

He smiled and then winked..

God.. what's wrong with him...?

I was feeling cold upon that his words and actions made the cold worse.

I pulled the quilt till my shoulder and the game continued, zayden sat next to me , he wrapped his left hand around my waist and he held my right hand in his interfacing our fingers.

"zayden.." I opened my eyes wide looking at him " everyone is here..? " I said clenching my teeth and with a fake smile on my face.

"don't worry, we are wrapped with quilt, no one can see my hands.. " he said smiling.

"let's go to hospital tomorrow and get your check up done " I said

"what check up..? " he asked with his brows furrowed.

"lately something is wrong with you, you aren't the same zayden who used to answer only with 's' and 'no ' . You speak so much now, no wait, you flirt so much ...! " I said, I mimicked the way he used to tell yes and no before.

"there is nothing wrong with me and it's okay to flirt with your wife.. " he said

" I see.. " I said making faces.

"okay now don't act cute if you don't want me to kiss you in front of everyone.. " he said

My left hand automatically covered my mouth "cant believe you said that.? "

"I can do it in reality to. " he replied.

I don't doubt his words..!

Rest of the game was amazing, we were pulling each other's leg and most importantly I was very comfortable sitting close to zayden, in fact after few minutes I placed my head on his chest snuggling closer to him.

This was one beautiful night..!!
