Zayden is acting like a teenage shy girl.. I wanted to laugh hard but somehow I controlled myself, I don't want to land myself into another trouble..

I quickly ran to my room and got my purse, when I was almost near the door someone held my wrist, I turn around to see it was zayden.

"Don't think you can escape and don't forget you are coming back to me.. " he said leaning against the door with his hands inside his pocket, so handsome..! I just smiled at him.

"Save that smile angel, I will make sure - you will stand in my place one day " he said raising an eyebrow.

Why is he so cute..? I don't know why but lately zayden is looking too cute..!! ♡♡

Concentrate Harriet, he is telling you will stand in his position, I can't handle such an embrassement.

"Let's see husband..! " I tell giving him a cocky smile and leave.

When I walked inside office alongside of dad, every other person in office stood up and bowed at dad and he responded them with a smile. Zayden is different from dad is this matter....

He came to halt in front of conference room. "Dad where does uncle work, I will go meet him.. " I said

" He is inside.. "dad replied

" Sir, meeting will start in 5 min" one lady came along with some files in her hand, I guess she is dad's secretary.

"Dad I will stay here, you finish your meeting.. " I said

"Come inside. " saying this dad entered the conference room and I followed dad.

Everybody stood up when dad entered, atmosphere of the room was filled with tension.

"Goodmorning everyone , this is my daughter-in-law Harriet Harley , she will be attending this meeting along with me.. " dad said

People looked at me with respect, this is the first time when people aren't looking down at me.

I looked at my uncle, he was grinning, i was so happy to see him.

I used to glance at dad, zayden has same aura as dad.

After meeting was done, I went with uncle to his cabin.

"I see my princess is very happy.. " uncle said when we entered.

"Iam happy.. all thanks to you.. " I said

"You deserve happiness ,so how is zayden and how are your in-laws " Uncle enquired.

"My in-laws are awesome, mom is too sweet and zayden is also good, uncle we are going to penthouse tomorrow... like a family trip.. " I said

"You seem very excited.. "

"Iam.. " I spoke to uncle for a long time. Uncle said Noah has gone on a educational trip from his college, so he will be coming back after 5 days...

Mom and I were doing necessary packing for the trip..! Iam feeling so excited.

"You know why I said let's go to penthouse.. " mom asked

"uh.. no.. "

"Cause that's where your dad and my love took a new turn, Ours was arrange marriage, your dad is just like zayden very stubborn but when we went to penthouse things changed, we changed , our relationship changed...! I know yours and zayden marriage was also arranged. I know you guys don't have relationship like husband and wife but believe me you guys want time, once you both start spending more time with each other, you will start liking each other. Both of you are made for each other.You are intelligent, beautiful and good by heart and no doubt my son is handsome and he is also good by heart... Iam sure you both will click.. you guys just want some time alone... and as your mother it's my responsibility to make sure you both get that.. " she said , I didn't knew mom had this plans.

"Is that the reason you wanted to go on a trip mom.. " I asked

"oh yea sweety.. " mom said winking.

Mom gave me a geniune smile.

Dad and zayden came and asked the driver to keep our luggage in the car.

"Attention please, I forgot to tell you all,my best friend and her family will also be accompanying us to penthouse... " mom said

"what..?! " zayden and dad said at the same time.

"yes, Mrs. Christopher and her family is going with us.. "

"Christopher is coming he didn't tell me anything in the meeting about this plan today..? " dad asked mom

"how does dad know mom bestfriend husband.. " I asked zayden in low voice.

"Cause he is dad's best friend.. " Zayden replied.

what..? dad bestfriend wife is mom's bestiee..

"I don't know why ? ask him yourself and yea even Stella and her husband are accompanying them.. " mom said looking at zayden.

Zayden expression changed.

"who is Stella now.. " I felt like fish out of water, I know nothing what they are speaking.

"She is Christopher's only daughter.. " zayden replied.

Daughter..? something is fishy..!

" Let's go I have lot of questions for you.. " I said and turned around to leave.

why do I feel zayden has something to do with Stella..? anyways I will ask him in car..!

Me and zayden were next to each other, mom and dad were sitting opposite to us.

"ahh.. finally we are going..! " mom said

"yea we are.. " I said with same enthusiasm as hers.

Dad and zayden where busy with their phones, I elbowed zayden, he looked at me "hmm.. "

"Who is Stella..?! why did your expressions changed when mom mentioned her name " I asked raising an eyebrow.

"She is just my parents bestfriend's daughter.. nothing else. " he said

"really..?! "

"you don't believe me angel..! "

He turned to mom and said "mom ang.. I mean Harriet wants to ask you something.. " he said.

Mom smiled " yes angel what you want to ask.. "

"Nothing mom.. I don't know what he is speaking about.. " I said

"She is asking about Stella mom. " zayden said.

"Oh Stella, to be honest, I like that girl a lot, I wanted her to be my daughter-in-law , but you know my son is so cold that he never approached her and apparently she started dating another guy and got married two weeks before you guys married. "

Oh mom liked her.. My mood suddenly changed..

"Oh dear, iam happy my son didn't approach her, I like you more, your personality is like mine " mom said winking.

"really..?! " I asked

" yes. "

After some time dad and zayden started speaking about business. I was looking outside the window at the passing trees and city... I was sleepy

I rest my head on window glass and close my eyes, I don't know when I fell asleep.

I don't know if I was dreaming or it was real I felt zayden palm on window , my head rested on his palm instead of window glass, for once the driver applied sudden brake and I hit my head on window glass but I didn't get hurt, I opened my eyes due to sudden jerk and looked towards the window to see zayden had really placed his palm on window to prevent me getting hurt.. aw..! so cute.

I look at him but he was busy speaking with dad, I just watched him speaking, how come God made him so handsome, it's not equilibrium to give one person everything.. I think he felt that I was looking at him cause he turned his gaze towards me " you woke up..? " he asked

"hmm.. "

"why..?! "

"Iam unable to sleep resting my head on window so.. " I said looking at my phone, I opened insta to kill some time till we reach penthouse, it was already dark outside and this place was very cold, even though we were inside the car I was feeling cold.

Someone grabbed phone from my hand, I turn to see it was zayden

"what..?! " I asked

" sleep.. " he replied

"zayden I can't sleep --" I didn't even complete my sentence, he wrapped one his hand around my waist and with his another hand he pulled my head to rest on his chest , what on earth is he doing..?I was blinking my eyes in confusion " sleep now.. " he said and again started speaking with dad.

like seriously..? he did that in front of his parents.

Iam in seventh heaven right now..! Is it real or iam I dreaming.. he was speaking with dad, I was looking at him, the way his Adam apple was moving up and down, shit..! he is so good looking, my nostrils filled with his scent and it was more than comforting...

Mom wrapped blanket around me " sleep comfortably in your husband's arms. " she said giving me genuine smile.

I closed my eyes but couldn't sleep, I could feel zayden was looking at me but still I tried not to react..

"What's wrong, why aren't you sleeping. " he asked

I opened my eyes and titled my head to look at him "iam sleeping.. " I said

"really angel.. "

I look at mom and dad both had their eyes closed, I guess they are sleeping..

"yes.. why.. "

"nothing.. " he replied.

I don't know when I slept, when I opened my eyes I was in room, a very big room with glass walls, I could see hills in front which were partially covered with fog. where iam I..?

I turned around to see zayden sleeping..

So this is penthouse, it's so very beautiful...!
