"Alright guys just like we rehearsed." Alfie said opening the door,
"My captain, my captain." We all chorused standing on desks.
"They do that every time I go to the loo." He left with miss. Gulliver something about a meeting I got help of the table from Mitch and we all left the class halfway down the corridor I remembered,
"Oh shit, Rem Dogg!"
----------
"You heard about this game?" Joe asked me as we were sitting in the hall during free period.
"Tokyo Sin?"
"Yeah." He replied sadly.
"It's not even that good."
"What do you mean it's the best bruv!" Mitchell sat down beside me stealing a chip of my plate.
"Yeah man." Rem pulled up. They started play fighting with each other, I rolled my eyes and pushed Mitchell of the bench and walked away.
In class everyone was half asleep, even Ling! "So who has this game?" The whole class put their hand up except me and Joe.
"It's the best mate, like actual!" Mitch shouted before falling asleep on my shoulder.
"You know I swear I moved you two apart." Alfie murmured, "back in my day we had pogs!" Mitchell suddenly woke up,
"The fucks a pog?" Mitch asked,"sounds well gay."
"What like your sister?" Rem asked, "she's a right lezzer."
"No she's not!"
"Yes she is, she goes to uni thats where all the lezzers go."
"Stop flirting you two." I said.
"I also had a Nintendo 64," Alfie continued,"it had games much better than Tokyo Sin."
"Like what sir?" Mitchell taunted.
"Zelda."
"What did you do run about playing the flute?"
"It was an ocarina."

"Oh wow, an ocarina" Mitchell laughed,"bet it helped you with the ladies."
"Yes Mitchell it did maybe I should lend it to your sister."
"Well I didn't need one to get your sister though did I Wickers?"
"Get out!" Alfie yelled Mitchell laughed and left kissing me on the cheek on his way out. Alfie glared at me, I just shrugged.
"Anyway I need you to find weapons, any you can find and bring them into lunch." Joe started stabbing himself with a pencil,
"Joe don't stab yourself!" I said to him, the bell rang and I went outside to see Mitchell standing there waiting.
He threw an arm around my shoulder and started talking to me about Tokyo Sin,
"Honestly Mitch I couldn't care less about that stupid game."
"What?" Mitchell gasped,"its like the best game ever!" we sat down in the dining hall we sat down and he kept hitting me lightly and making fighting noises.
"Would you stop karate chopping me!" He laughed.
I turned around because Chantelle walked in and was cutting her fingernails into the weapons box and Joe put in milk. I walked over and said hello to Alf.
"Omygod I totally just told that police officer that I have a small dick." He whispered into my ear I laughed until Mitchell came up and put his chemistry homework into the box wearing a teeshirt on his head,
"What the hell Mitch, take it of."
"This is you chemistry homework not a weapon."
"Is this my P.E shirt?" I asked taking a proper look at the top, he nodded before answering Alfie,
"I could become a scientist and explode worlds at the flick of a switch." Alfie handed him back his homework.

"I doubt that Mitchel."
Commotion at the other side of the hall made us all turn around in time to see Stephen kick Grayson in the face,"Go Stephen!" I yelled earning a harsh elbow to the ribs by Alfie.
--------------
We were sitting in class watching a video about some republican girl called Loretta who was fighting black guys,
"Loretta's the babe." I said sarcastically once the video finished, Alfie rolled his eyes.
"Anyway stopping violence," Alfie started,"what Stephen did was not okay."
"Yes it was Grayson's a prick!" Rem yelled from behind me.
"Preach!" I shouted.
"Agreed," Alfie said "but that doesn't make it okay. The most dangerous thing in the world is the human brain."
"So Simon Hawking he's the most brainiest guy ever right," Rem Dogg says,"if you put him in a cage with a tiger, who would win?"
"The tiger." Alfie muttered.
"Anything could kill Stephen Hawking really." I added
"Even a badger?" Joe questioned,
"Probably." I replied.
------------
We were all sitting in the hall waiting for classes to have negative energy or something. I don't really listen when Alfie talks, no one does really, most of what comes out of his mouth is pointless anyway.
"All right you cocksuckers, my name is Preet," a sweaty man walked in and yelled.
"Can you tone down the homophobia around the kids?" Alfie asked.
"What was that butt stuffer?" Preet asked and Alfie shook his head,"I'm here to teach you self defence, we used to have to only have to lookout for the blacks but now the asians are at it too." I rolled my eyes,
"I need a volunteer!" Preet yelled, we immediately put our hands up.
"Let's go lads!" I yelled, Alfie glared at me and I slowly put my hand down.
"I'll do it." Alfie shouted above all of the voices.
"Okay cocksucker go get changed," he threw Alf a gym bag.
"I am not getting changed!" Alfie said,
"Okay then, wheels you're up." Preet shouted at Rem,
"I'm going, I'm going Alfie grabbed the bag and left the room. A minute later he came in wearing a ridiculous outfit and Preet immediately tackled him and started fighting, Alf called on Joe who tackled Preet to the ground. Alfie got up and tasered him.
Mitchell came up to me and rested his head on my shoulder while I spoke to a reporter about the weapons amnesty. "Kim," he murmured into my neck.
"Yes Mitch." I turned to face him.
"You know I really like you." He said quietly looking me in the eyes, before I had a chance to reply his lips were on mine and I kissed back, our foreheads rested together.
I heard Alfie saying something about negative energy to Gulliver and I shouted,
"You fucking tasered him!"

The year is 605, and in your home— the country of Corcaea— the souls of mankind belong to demons. A phenomenon known as the "Catalyst" is what's to blame. This diabolical phenomenon lurks within every man, woman, and child. It can turn any human into a demon, if they fall prey to one, all-consuming element. It can be anything. Fear. Grief. Generosity. Even love. In a land where Gods are real and Corcaea's theocracy is the last hope for mankind, you follow in the footsteps of Father Richard Anscham: a deeply disturbed young priest, the leader of the Church of Mercy, and the foremost researcher of the Catalyst. Despite completing a holy mission from the Goddess of Mercy, obtaining a holy Relic, and escaping from demon-infested ruins, Father Anscham is in greater peril than ever before. Ravaged in mind, body, and soul, the solace he begs to receive from the Church of Flesh is impeded by a cruel lesson: the ramifications of a life spent sacrificing everything one has for others. See through the harrowing eyes of a man at his wit's end; through a dark fantasy tale of horror, hope, and desperation. Search for the cure. Conquer your personal demons. Welcome to Catalyst! As this is an archive of Catalyst Quest (an interactive, collaborative story), the prompts that were included with the original run of Avowed have been stripped, and the story is presented like a traditional novel for your reading convenience. If you would like to read Catalyst in its original format or participate in current events, you can find us here, on Sufficient Velocity. This book is complete! The story will continue with Catalyst: Calunoth, just as soon as I am done revising its content for here on Royal Road.
