《My Alpha's Fairytale》Chapter 35

Eva's POV
I was currently getting ready for the 'surprise' date that Logan was taking me to. I wasn't able to crack him and know exactly where we're going so I decided to just trust his choices and stop bothering him about it.
I made sure I scrubed every inch of my body and wash my hair clean. It took me about thirty minutes in the shower until I wrapped a towel around my body and left.
"Finally." someone groaned when I entered the bedroom making me jump in fright.
"Chloe." In scolded as I placed my hand on my fast beating heart. "What are you doing here? You scared me."
"Oh get over yourself Eva, I'm here to get you ready." She replied with a wave of her hand.
"I can pretty much get ready on my own, thank you very much." I replied with narrowed eyes.
"Sure you can, but I'll be able to perfect your look in a way that no one else would." She said smugly as she stood up from her place on the bed.
"How did you come in anyways?" I asked in confusion. I was sure that I've locked the front door properly when I entered and the only other person with a key to the house is Logan.
"Jumped through the window when you didn't answer the door." She answered with a shrug making me face palm.
"Now, enough with the questions and place that butt of yours on the chair."
I did as I was told and sat on the chair placed in front of my vanity.
Chloe started working on my hair and makeup, not allowing me to look in the mirror.
It took her about one hour before she yelled that she was finished and looking at the time, I saw that I was late.
"Now, put this on." she said, handing me a pink colored fabric.
Using both my hands to fully see the dress, I gasped in awe. It was a one strap dress that reached mid thigh. It's bottom was a bit flowy and had a traingular opening on the side, showing skin.
The dress was very beutiful, to say the least, but I was sure that Logan wasn't going to like me wearing it in public.
Either ways, I pulled the dress over my head. The dress fit me perfectly and thank God the side opening wasn't too big.
Chloe handed me matching pink heels and when she made sure that I was completely ready, she allowed me to look at myself in the mirror.
I gasped at how I looked. My jet black hair was perfectly straightened with slight curves at the end. There was a pink flowery clip attached to one side of my hair. I had light pink eyeshadow above my eye lids and nude lipstick on my lips while my cheeks were tinted in rose.

I grinned widely at myself then turned to look at Chloe.
"I love you!" I squealed as I opened my arms and attacked her with a hug making her chuckle as she hugged me back.
"I'm glad you like it Eva." She said.
"Like it? I love it!" I replied as I pulled back.
"Come on, Logan must be waiting." She said as we started making our way outside.
Once we stepped outside the house's threshold, we saw Logan running towards us in full speed.
"Soneone can't wait." Chloe nudged me and winked, making me blush. However, as Logan came closer, we saw the panicked look on his face which got us confused.
He came towards me and grabbed my hand. "Chloe, run to the pack house and hide with the rest in the underground room. I'll bring Eva." He ordered with ragged breaths.
"T-the underground room? Are we under attack?" Chloe asked as fear and worry started filling her eyes.
"Yes, now go." Logan replied and the next thing I know, Chloe was running towards the pack house.
Logan turned to me and looked me in the eye. "I need you to run baby. Run as fast as you can." He said and I nodded.
In an instant, Logan and I were running through the woods, dodging tress and braches. We reached the pack house in record time.
There was chaos everywhere and everyone was runnning in different directions. Shouting and crying could be heard and I felt lost between it all. I held onto Logan's hand tighter and brought my body closer to his.
He pressed my hand assuringly as he lead me between the crowds.
There, in the middle of the living room, under where the carpet was supposed to be, was an opening in the ground. Stairs started from the very top and lead to an underground room.
"I need you stay down here and not leave until I come get you myself. Don't even leave with my mother if she asked you to. Trust no one Eva, okay?" Logan said, his voice filled with worry.
I nodded my head. His hand left mine as he turned around but I caught it once more making him look at me.
"Will you be alright?" I asked as I looked up at him.
Logan came closer and kissed my forehead gently. "I'll be fine, I promise." He replied but his words still didnt ease my worry.
"By the way baby girl," He whispred in my ear. "you look very beautiful. But we'll see about that dress of yours later."
I blushed furuosly.
Logan made sure that I descended the stairs to the underground room before he left. Women, children and elderly were seated downstairs.

"Eva." I heard someone call my name from the crowd.
Turning around, I saw Claire waving at me to come over. She was sitting with Chloe and Alexis. Alexis had a baby in her arms, rocking it back and forth.
I looked at the baby in confusion.
"Her mother is mixing her formula in a bottle to feed her." Alexis explained and I replied with a small 'o'.
I sat next to Claire as more people filled the room. The door squeaked as it closed, trapping us all in the dark room underground.
"Won't they be able to hear us and know where we are?" I asked Claire.
"No. This room is sound proof." Claire replied.
Minutes passed by as I watched the women around me worry about their loved ones. The thought of losing someone's mate was very hard and I hated sitting there doing nothing. I hated the feeling of being useless.
I watched as mothers worried and prayed for their sons and husbands, girls worrying about their mates and even Claire as she worried about her family.
I felt angry at myself. I was supposed to be this pack's Luna. I'm supposed to help protect them and make sure that no one loses a part of their family. They've started depending on me ever since I officially took over the luna position and I wasn't going to let them down.
"I'm going to go talk to some of the women and girls, cheer them up a bit." I lied to Claire. She was too busy thinking about Sam and Logan so she nodded without a second thought.
I slipped through the masses of people until I reached the stairs. With a deep breath, I climbled it to the door.
I took a deep breath to make sure that there was no one in the living room before opening the door, ignoring my name being called.
I quickly got out and locked the door once more. The carpet was back ontop of the door, hiding it so I had to push it away to be able to get out.
I placed it back on top of the door before anyone could see.
Looking around, I decided to increase security by moving the couch to sit ontop of the carpet and door.
I grabbed one arm of the couch and started pulling it.
My ears and nose picked up someone entering the living room. His smell was unfamiliar and I knew immediatly that he was from the enemy pack.
I decided to ignore it and continue pulling the couch as an idea started forming in my head on how to kill him.
The rogue whistled from behind me, notifying me that he was in his human form.
"Well, well, look who do we have here." He taunted stepping closer. "What is a sexy lady like you doing here all alone?"
I turned around to look at him, giving him an innocent fearless look.
"Oh, finally." I said in an exaggerated tone. The rogue seemed taken aback by what I said but soon composed himself.
"Can you please help me move this couch over here? It's too heavy for me." I asked in a pleading tone.
The rogue raised his eyebrows at me, giving me an amused look.
"Come on. I don't like the arrangments and whenever I ask my husband for help, he'd just brush me off." I complained in a whiny tone.
"Isn't the luna supposed to be the only one to have the authority to change the arrangment as she wishes?" The rogue asked.
"Well you see, I am the luna. Now come on, help me." I replied.
A smirk was instantly plastered on his face at the mention that I was the luna.
"Well luna, how about we forget that husband of yours and get things a little heated up between us?" He asked in a taunting voice as he started making his way towards me.
My eyes lit up at his suggestion and a wide smile spread across my face which made him grin in return as he stepped even closer.
"You want us to heat things up?" I asked suggestively with a sly smirk
The rogue nodded and when he was only a couple of inches away I started the fire in my heart and felt it surge through my whole body.
My lower back tingled as my eight tails protruded, fire framing each one of them, the same way it was framing my body. I felt my eyes change color as I looked down at a horrified looking rogue. He took a step back as he looked wide eyed at my burning form.
"How about this amount of heat? Enough?"
