Alexis's POV

Ever since I had that dream, I've been keeping an eye on everything around us and sticking to Eva like glue in order to be able to protect her on time if needed.

All the while I thought that the chaos was coming from outside and I never expected it to come from right next to me.

When Wendy didn't shut her mouth and started blabbering unnecessary things, I diverted my faze to Eva only to see her clenching and unclenching her fists in anger.

"Did you know that he liked it when I kissed behind his ear?" Wendy's words made Eva snap and lose all control over herself and the beast inside of her.

Gumihos are extremely possessive creatures, they even exceed that of any alpha. So imagine what it would be like for Eva, hearing that her mate slept with someone else.

Eva's chest started glowing blue light and soon the blue flames spread through her whole body. Gasps erupted from everyone who was watching as the flames formed a layer around Eva.

Her tails started protruding and I noticed the eight tail that grew. Her tails were moving widely behind her as angry flames surrounded them too.

"Y-you're a beast!" Wendy all but yelled.

At her words, Eva's head snapped upwards and her eyes opened straight at Wendy. Gasps erupted again at the view of Eva's eyes. They were completely blue. No black, no white, only blue. The same fiery blue surrounding her and her tails. Eva was literally on fire.

Wendy took a few steps back in fear as Eva strode ever so slowly towards her. Wendy couldn't go far though as she stumbled on her own wobbly feet and fell on her bum. Her eyes were wide and fear radiated off her in waves and she looked up at Eva in terror.

"W-what are y-you doing?" Wendy stuttered as she crawled backwards.

Eva didn't answer though and kept walking closer to Wendy's shaking form.

Wendy must've found some of her sense as she quickly turned around and attempted to run away only to be stopped mid way when Eva zapped fire infront of her.

The blue fire formed a semi circle infront of Wendy making her unable to walk through.

Wendy gasped at the surprise attack and turned to look at Eva once again.

"You can never run away from me." Eva's voice was low, rough and dangerous. She didn't sound like our normal Eva. Her voice was more of a demon's.

Wendy attempted to escape from the side but once again Eva swayed her hand, zapping fire infront of Wendy and stopping her mid step. She tried the other side only to be stopped the same way. Wendy, eventually was surrounded with Eva's blue flames.

"Dump bitch. Going after my mate and then trying to escape." Eva's voice made me shudder in place, and I wasn't on the receiving end.

Eva swayed her hand once again, only this time, fire was zapped towards Wendy herself.

Wendy screamed in pain as she clutched onto her right arm that now, had a very bad looking crescent shaped burn mark on it.

"You stay away away from him." Eva growled. "Because he's," She zapped Wendy again but on the other arm this time. "Mine!" Eva zapped Wendy once more but the third time burnt her stomach.

Wendy was now on the ground crying and screaming in pain as she tried holding onto her injured body.

Eva didn't seem to have any intention of stopping as she took another few steps towards Wendy.

"People like you should disappear."

With another zap, Wendy was rolled from her fetus position to lying on her back.

Another zap had her screams intensifying.

If Eva went on, she'll definitely kill her.

I tried to come closer to Eva but the flames around her body grew as she snapped her eyes towards me with one of the most horrifying glares I've ever seen.

I took slow and cautious steps back so as not to trigger anymore anger inside of her.

Where the hell is Logan!

On cue, I heard Logan calling Eva's name as he ran towards us.

"What the hell if going on?" He asked to no one in particular as he stood there looking at Eva.

"I don't know, she...Wendy said somethings and Eva thought that you guys slept together.....Eva is mad and she....she's on fire!" I stuttered as I tried explaining. The glare u received from Eva was enough to make me week in the knees. I had no air in my lungs and I felt like I'm going to faint from the terror cursing through my whole body.

"Eva. Baby please listen to me." Logan said as he tried approaching Eva slowly.

Eva didn't seem to have heard him as her eyes never left Wendy's.

"L-Logan...h-help-p m-me." Wendy pleaded in pain.

Wendy's call to Logan must've made Eva even more angrier. Her flames intensified and grew higher, her tails wagged dangerously fast and angry behind her and her eyes seem to have glow more.

With another wave, more fire was zapped towards Wendy who's dress was now torn to shreds, her hair shortened unevenly as the ends where burnt and her body had angry burn marks all over.

Wendy screamed again as Eva once more, waved with her hand.

"Eva, please stop, you're going to kill her." Logan pleaded but again, Eva didn't listen. "Baby please. You'll regret it at the end just stop."

"Logan she's not going to listen. You have to do something before she completely loses herself to her powers and anger!" I said in a pleading tone myself.

If a gumiho loses itself to it's dark side, it'll eventually lose its soul, meaning that Eva will die and there will be nothing left but her burning body, roaming the world soul-less. Not only that, but for her to survive she must kill for the souls of others.

"Eva!" Logan yelled in hopes for Eva to hear but to no avail.

"We have to do something!" Yelled Claire in panic as she too, watched the scene infront of us.

I was about to yell at Logan again to do something but gasped loudly as I saw him run towards Eva, right into her blazing, angry flames.

Her ran directly towards Eva's body and engulfed it between his arms in a tight hug.

"Logan no!" Claire cried desperately and attempted to follow him but Sam held her back.

I averted my gaze to Logan to find his eyes shut tight and his face scrunched up in pain.

His clothes were burning away from where they were in direct contact with Eva's body. His skin was turning red and the burn marks were soon making their presence on his body, but he never let go.

"Baby girl please. Please come back to me." He pleaded to Eva, his voice cracking probably from the pain. "Eva please." This time he whispered. I noticed the couple of stray tears that left his eyes and as soon as they fell onto Eva's shoulders, her fire calmed down.

"Baby girl, don't do this. I don't want to lose you. Please, just please come back to me." Logan pleaded once again.

His words and his embrace seemed to have started to calm Eva down and bring her soul back. He kept on murmuring things into her ear until Eva's fire was completely put out.

Her tails toned down their movements and layed calm behind Eva on the ground like a vail.

Eva closed her eyes for a couple of seconds before opening them. They were back to normal but looked sad and scared.

"Logan." Her normal soft voice called out in a whisper.

Logan pulled back a bit to look at Eva.

"I'm here baby." He told her in a soft tone with a small smile.

Eva's tails disappeared and she fell unconcious into Logan's arms.
