I do not own the video above. Song belongs to MandoPony and lyrics to Galaxy Star TV. The original didn't work for what ever reason. :P

Aphmau's POV
--------------------------
The lights from neighborhood houses blinked off as night drew in.
Me and Jay burst into the Pizzeria just on time, and locked the doors.
Transforming into my Marionette form, I called out, "Guys, I'm here."
Jay stood next to me, still in human form, nervously watching the darkness ahead.
Looming figures approached, and the four animatronics arrived.
Bonnie dashed up happily, but froze when he saw Jay.
"Who's this Auntie?" He asked.
Ever since I had offered the fix their voice boxes, you could hear the youth and wonder in their voices, expressing the true children inside.
"Guys, meets my best bud Jay." I gestured to him.
He waved his pirate hook awkwardly.
"I must say lass, he has good taste." Foxy grumbled, eyeing the hook with approval.
Jay flinched.
Foxy clearly didn't recognize him.
"So guys!" I interrupted before things got too awkward. "Tonight, me and Jay will be singing a song!"
Jay cleared his throat. "Yep. We call it, 'Just Gold'.
As of on cue, Golden Freddy popped out from behind Chica.
"Just Gold you say?" He asked, smiling.
This would be interesting.
We walked onto the stage, and the animatronics sat around us, their eyes filled with excitement. They only got this chance twice a week.

TIME FOR THE MAIN ATTRACTION
TIME FOR A CHAIN REACTION
SOME BOTS GET SATISFACTION
SOME BOTS ARE JUST DISTRACTIONS
I'm not the bad guy,
I'm just a bit surprising
It's not worth losing sleep
It's not worth analyzing
In the beginning I kept a keen eye
on the state of affairs with the new guy

Now I got a new gig (Let me know if you dig)
Ain't going home so I better go big
Just got to glance at cam 2B
Then you get a little surprise...
IT'S ME
TIME FOR THE MAIN ATTRACTION
TIME FOR A CHAIN REACTION
SOME BOTS GET SATISFACTION
SOME BOTS ARE JUST DISTRACTIONS
You did a good job
Watching those little screens
It warms my servos and circuits
To hear some fresh screams
No more facts are left remaining
Now you know the gist of it
You're a perfect fit
I don't wanna hear no more complaining
I'm passing down this golden opportunity
Take it with pride
You'll forever be part of this community
But in the end I think that you will find
YOU ARE THE MAIN ATTRACTION
YOU ARE A CHAIN REACTION
SOME BOTS GET SATISFACTION
SOME BOTS ARE JUST DISTRACTIONS
YOU ARE THE MAIN ATTRACTION
YOU ARE A CHAIN REACTION
SOME BOTS GET SATISFACTION
SOME BOTS ARE JUST DISTRACTIONS
*Song Ends*
If the animatronics could clap, they would've.
Most were cheerfully buzzing, while others attempted to smack their hands together for an applause.
"Thank you." Golden Freddy said, his eyes full of gratefulness.
"It's not a big deal. We're in this together." I responded, hugging him.
Jay was talking warily with Foxy, but it seemed they were okay.
"Truce?" Jay asked, raising his hook.
"Aye, truce lad." Foxy agreed, clasping both hooks together in a friendly gesture.
Bonnie ran to me. "Hi Auntie Aphmau!"
"Hello Andy." I said, pulling him into a hug.
Looking around, I frowned. "Where's Claire?"
"Mommy!" He asked hopefully.
I had to remember he was just a child.
A misty blob formed in front of us, and the ghost of a young woman appeared.
She smiled at me.

"Claire!" I cried, dashing forward to hug her, but stopping.
"Mommy?" Bonnie's asked desperately.
"Right here sweetheart." Claire's eyes shone with pride and grief.
"And hello Aphmau." She answered.
"It's good to see you."
"As well as you too sister."
Jay strolled over. "Hi, you must be Claire. Aphmau's told me a lot about you."
Claire smiled, and waving a ghostly hand.
"And you are...?"
"Jay."
"Nice to meet you Jay."
"You too Claire."
I grinned. My entire family was here, reunited. This was the best part of the weekends.
"So, Mari...." Jay started.
"Don't you dare." I warned.
"Mari?" Claire asked, before it dawned on her. "Oh! That's a good one!" She snickered.
"Not you too!" I complained, but in truth, I was happy.
We chatted for a while, keeping each other on recent updates.
Golden Freddy had wandered off to talk to his friends while Bonnie remained with us.
I faltered when we got to the part about seeing Purple Guy at the mall.
Claire and Bonnie looked upset.
"You'd better be careful Aphmau. He's an insane psychopath." Claire said, concern lacing her voice.
"I can take care of myself Claire."
"I know, but I'm your sister. It's my job to worry about you. I don't want you getting hurt when you have your whole life ahead of you."
"Thank you, I will." I checked my watch in the silver moonlight.
5:45 AM.
"Gotta go guys!" I called, waving my string-attached arms.
"Goodbye."
"Seeya!"
"Aye!"
After receiving several goodbyes, I exited the pizzeria, and morphed back into my human form.
Jay shivered in the morning cold.
"Guess this is a goodbye." I told Jay.
"Bye bye Aphie, don't forget to practice!" He said, walking off.
"Bye Jay!" I waved after him, and started my way home, thinking about tomorrow.

Also available on Audible! After centuries of endless wars, the three greatest nations of the continent have come together in peace. As a symbol of their cooperation, they have worked together to establish the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial, and Arcane Arts, a place where the best and brightest of each nation can gather on neutral ground and share knowledge, techniques, and cultures. Can the peace truly last, or is the academy just another proxy for the constant conflicts the three nations face? None of that matters to Lee Jia, a homeless young girl who's biggest concern is surviving the winter. But when she accidentally stumbles into the academy in search of a new place to stay, her destiny is changed forever. Determined to carve out a new place for herself and make the most of her good fortune, Lee Jia dives head first into the world of magic and martial arts. Fates Parallel is my first serious attempt at writing a story, and a personal love letter to Eastern fantasy and xianxia stories. It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. I try to write every day, with a goal of about 45,000 words per month (~1500 per day). Chapter lengths are around 3000 words on average, releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Cover art drawn by the incredibly talented Tsuu (TsurotArtistry).
