《My BadBoy》Chapter 44: Decision making

" I don't know where to start..." He sighed running his hand through his hair and I looked away in attempt to stop staring at his perfections.
I cleared my throat. " Why don't you start with the email?"
He chuckled. " Oh, you're still upset about that?"
" Am I...still 'upset' that you have thirty pages of personal information about me?, uh ,yeah" I was a bit baffled by his laughter.
He got up from around his desk and slowly walked over to a cabinet pulling out two clean glasses. " I've been a little too friendly towards you I guess," He sighed as he poured himself some kind of alcoholic beverage and me a glass of water with ice. " First of all, this isn't our dorm room so I expect you to treat me with some form of respect and second, you're still on my list for being disobedient so if I were you I would drop that attitude immediately"
" Excuse me?" I snacthed the water from his hand and stood up.
He put his glass down and drank straight from the bottle. " Sit down"
" No" I stood my ground. For once.
He lowered his voice — as if his office wasn't already soundproof. " I don't know what you think you're doing but this is my workplace, and I may have let you get away with being disrespectful in the past but not here"
" You expect me to put you on some high pedestal just because you're in the mafia?" I rolled my eyes.
He jaw clenched. " The fact that you said 'just because you're in the mafia' obviously means I've been way too easy on you, so from now on, you don't get to see the nice Jackson miller"

I snorted —yes, unlady like I know. " Is that what this was?"
" Don't challenge me miss Sunshine" His eyes changed. Not the dark psycho thing it does when he's fighting but more of a angry upset look.
"Miss? getting professional are we?," I honestly don't know what i'm doing right now, all I know is i'm tired of him trying to control me all the time. This is not what I signed up for. " Well Mr. Miller —by the way that doesn't sound italian to me— last time I checked —" I began to walk around his office, brushing my fingers against things. " You work for my father meaning i'm basically the princess of this establishment, which means you can't do anything to me, which means I don't take orders from you"
He laughed. "Feeling brave are we?" He grabbed my wrist as I walked past him the second time and pulled me to him so he was holding my shoulders with both hands.
" A little" I squeaked, my confidence slowly dieing.
" Oh no, please don't stop," He smirked. " It's kinda hot"
" I'm serious!," I smacked his arm then kept my distance. " I'm done playing games Jackson and I don't have to listen to you"
" And I have to listen to you?" He rose his eyebrows.
I gulped. " Well my dad—"
" He's here?" Jackson looked around amused. " 'Cause I don't see him"
" Stop this" I crossed my arms.
" But baby you know I love role play" He fake pouted and I blushed. " Wait was baby on your 'do not call me that' list too?"
" Jackson i'm mad at you stop messing around," I grabbed a liquor bottle from his hand. " And stop drinking"

" How else am I supposed to prepare for when you give me that 'i hate you' look?," He quickly added before I could respond. " And mean it?"
I placed the bottle on his desk. " If I don't hate you already, what else is there to hate?"
It was quiet for a moment.
" You're dad wants me to tell you everything...but I'm not going to, because it'll all make sense eventually," He grabbed the bottle from his desk, took another swig and stumbled to his chair.
" What I will tell you is only what you need to know, like for example the email is just a precautionary measure, if you come in contact with anyone in the mafia ever they will always do a background check on you because...no matter how much you think you know a person, there's always more"
I felt like there was deeper meaning to his words.
"You've been hurt" I stated, sitting on the corner of his desk facing him.
" In more ways than one" He grabbed a remote from his drawer and opened the blinds behind his desk with one push. They opened up revealing a beautiful sunset behind us.
" Do you want to talk about it" Our voices were both low at this point and tension in the room was so sharp it could cut ice.
" Wouldn't you rather hear answers?" He opened his draw again and grabbed a cigarette. I snatched it from his hand, threw it on the ground and crushed it with my shoes.
" Are you making me choose between you or your job?" I asked, ignoring his startled expression.
" Well," He got up and wrapped his arm around my waist as he stood between my legs. " You've always wanted to know stuff about me and you also want to know stuff about the mafia, but I don't think I can tell both stories in one day and not go insane, so it's up to you to tell me what's more important"
" That's not fair" I breathed, grabbing his biceps with my hands because I have no idea what to do with them. How did we switch from arguing to sexual positions on his office desk?
Okay that might be a bit dramatic.
" Oh that's very fair Ash" He whispered in my ear.
I met his eyes and suddenly we were the only two people in the universe. " Jackson I want to know about you and your past, I really do but I also want to know what everyone has been hiding and if you don't tell me today it might take months before you tell me again"
He lifted my chin and bit his lips. " And?"
" And if you don't tell me about your past now, you might never tell me... I need to know why you are who you are, and how? why?," I frowned. " Please don't make me choose.."
" You look even more hot when you're confused" He nibbled on my earlobe making me arch my body towards him more.
He reached behind me with his long arms and cleared his desk, shoving everything to the floor. " Your choice is...?"
My breathing grew rapidly as I layed down on the cool wooden surface. Jackson hoovered above me. " My choice is..."
