《My BadBoy》Chapter 11: Let's Ride

The rest of class was a drag.
An awkward drag.
Aiden kept shooting weird glances at Sadie and in return Sadie would pretend he doesn't exist. I on the other hand was blushing worse than when Aiden saw me naked, so I kept my eyes locked on the professor and my ears focused on what he was saying which of course I couldn't comprehend because I was thinking about what just happened...and wishing that could be me and Jackson.
Wait, no!
Shaking my head of all these weird thoughts I began jotting down some quick notes. Sadie cleared her throat next to me but didn't say anything. Well it's official, this has been the most awkward thing i've ever experienced. A bell sounded and I screamed out. " Oh thank God!".
Everyone turned to look at me but I didn't care because I was already out the door. Sadie waved goodbye and Aiden met my eyes then put his index finger over his lips. 'Shh' he mouthed. I shrugged it off and practically ran to my next class. It didn't sink in that I was alone until...I was alone. Just like high school.
This class wasn't nearly as packed as the last one so I found myself being the only one in the back row. I watched in envy as everyone mingled and talked to each other. There was a small group of girls in the front gushing over this guy sitting next to them. His hair was a little darker but practically the same color as mine. He was wearing a grey Sleeveless shirt and my eye caught his left arm. A sleeve of tattoos traveled up his arm.
"Ladies, ladies,". He laughed. "Please you're making me blush".
I gasped.
His head snapped back towards me and I ducked underneath the desk. No, i'm not ready to face him yet. Why does he have business lecture anyway? not like this can teach him anything about the mafia. Crossing my arms over my chest I decide to stay hidden for the rest of class.

I'm not kidding.
" Well, well, well,". A familiar voice sounded above me. " I don't remember ordering anything from Starbucks".
" Get away from me". I sighed slowly getting up. I took my seat again just as the bell rang and Jackson sat next to me.
" Look,". He started. " I Kn-".
" I don't care". I interjected.
" C'mon, you can't be that mad". He met my gaze.
"Yeah, I am". I snapped ignoring the professor who was now dragging on about something and the pouting girls who no longer have their dreamy seat buddy.
" Why". He asked still staring at me.
" Because...,". I turned my head. " You're a monster".
He didn't say anything. He just sat there and stared at the board. I know I flipped a switch in him, maybe it was a switch I shouldn't have been messing with in the first place. We stayed like that in silence for a few minutes until I couldn't take it anymore, but right before I got to say anything he flipped the desk over and marched out.
Crap.
I slowly got up and followed him outside. Guess I won't be learning anything today.
" Jackson!,". I struggled to catch up to him. "Jackson wait!".
He ignored me. I noticed his fist were balled up and he was walking like he's just about ready to kill someone, not that he hasn't before. I grabbed his shoulder. " Stop!".
"You think you know me?!,". He yelled. " You know nothing!".
" What?,". I asked, trying to understand this situation. " What don't I know?".
" I know i'm a freak,". He growled. " I know i'm a monster but I didn't choose to be...it wasn't a choice Ashley!".

Students started coming out of their classrooms. " Jackson calm down". I mumbled.
" I am calm!". He punched a wooden bench, breaking it in half.
Aiden jogged over to me. " We have to take him to the dorm, he's drawing too much attention".
" Jackson, please calm down,". I hesitantly approached him. " i'm sorry, you're not a monster".
"But I am vanilla bean...". He placed his hand on my cheek and I leaned into it. He's broken. My perfect Jerk Face boy is broken.
" Hey dude let's just go to your room okay?, and you guys can talk about it". Aiden weighed in.
"Shit,". Jackson came to his senses. " I'm uh... I'm sorry everyone that was just...uh...practice...for theater... you can go back to class now".
I'm pretty sure everyone knew he was lying, but they were all too scared to say anything. Everyone started wandering back to class and I didn't see Sadie anywhere. Maybe she left early? Aiden started heading back to class too.
"Wait,". I called after him. " Don't leave".
"Ashley," He sighed. " Go talk to him".
I turned and ran my hand through my hair. What the heck just happened?
I began walking on the sidewalk towards the parking lot because that's the last place I saw Jackson. Headlights flashed behind me, followed by the roar of a engine. I turned and for the second time today Jackson's made me gasp. Now, I know alot about cars because my dad used to have a warehouse where he would repair and sell cars when I was younger. That being said Jackson was driving a black matte Lamborghini Aventador. One of the fastest cars ever.
"Get in!". He yelled over the beastly roar of the car. I honestly don't know why i'm shocked, It's a sexy guy driving a sexy car.
Pretend I didn't say that.
"You look impressed". He smirked when I got in.
I ran my hand over the leather. " Were you trying to impress me?".
He leaned over and whispered in my ear. "no, but it wouldn't be too hard if I wanted to would it?" He nibbled on my ear and a low moan escaped my lips.
" Stop that!". I squirmed frustrated.
"Okay,". He pulled back. "But only because I don't want you having a orgasm all over my baby".
" Your baby?". I rose an eyebrow.
He planted a swift kiss on the dashboard. " My baby".
I blushed and looked away. "Right".
"Ready to ride?". He smiled.
" Ride?". I jumped up, shocked.
" Yeah,". He chuckled. " As in 'i'm gonna drive now' ".
" Oh". I met his sparkling eyes and couldn't help but smile back at him. This is the happiest i've ever seen him. Is it because of me?
Nah. I shrugged it off.
"Let's ride". I grinned and the car shot out onto the street.
Maybe today won't be so bad afterall.

(Book Two on Amazon here) (Book Three on Amazon Here) Both books should be available through Kindle Unlimited. It is the Future. This is the story of Kaleb, a young gamer, and his adventures in the latest Super-Hero Virtual reality MMO: Modern Age Online. No cheats, no guides, just one newbie Super-Hero against the forces of villainy in his new virtual home. Notes: 1.) While not my first time writing, this is my first time throwing anything I've written at the tender mercies of the internet. All criticisms welcome. 2.) Just to inform people early: There is no evil corporation looking to control the world with VR, there is no Krueger-esque "if you die in the game, you die for real.", and this isn't a story of some OP harem-loving god of the system. Nothing wrong with those stories this just isn't one. This is a simple story about a guy playing a game and finally 3.) This story is extremely rough, i did very little editing, this is just me gauging interest really. oh, and English is my 1st language, if for some reason you find that important. Note 2) from now on Book 1 will exist in its entirety on Royal Road while Books 2 and 3 (and any others) will be released on Amazon. I want to thank everyone who has been reading and has taken this weird journey with me. I will continue to write in my spare time and will always be thankful to Royal Road for giving me a space to be creative. Thank you to everyone.

8 79The Rules of Dungeoneering
The First Rule of Dungeoneering: This will kill you Sylvester Bayes, the 4th son of a small baron, has suddenly had his head filled with the memories and work of someone who had dedicated their life to memorizing every dungeon they could find and designing a new RPG system. Not about to waste these gifts, Sylvester quickly sets out to get rich quick and discover the reasons behind his sudden knowledge. (Please note, this is dressed up actual play from my testing of a tabletop RPG. It is actually how the game has gone and there is a very real chance that anyone, including Sylvester, could die in any encounter. To help make my job easier I am using dungeons written by other people, which is why I have listed this as a fanfiction. I put links to all of them in the chapters where they are relevant.)

8 167Short Stories: Character Ideas
Training writing by randomly creating characters stories without screwing up some full-fledged story that I may or may not write in the future. There is a main story here; however, as I'm still bad at writing, I decided to just put a small part of it here. Leaving the full story for another book. Also, please notice that every single chapter can and will be edited at any time I think I'm ready to enhance this book's quality.
