I was laying down comfortable in my bed , looking over some magazines scanning for cute boys of course , I couldn't help but giggle to myself that's when I snapped out when I heard my phone beep.

- Hey babe , get ready because I'm taking you to the gym .

- okay ,

I went to my closet and got my black gym shorts and got a red crop top and then my gym shoes.

I didn't question Adam to why he's taking me to the gym ? Because I wasn't doing anything anyway so why say no ? , I quickly heard a car stop in my driveway making me grab my phone and a water bottle and dashing to the door.

Opening the front door and closing it my eyes fell on Adam who's leaning on a very looking expensive black Range Rover .

"You got a car?." I said while admiring his car and running my fingers over the hood

"Yep just bought this badboy" he said while patting the front hood and smirking while looking over the car , it's such a great car

"Can I drive?" I ask while peeping up and hopping he would say yes , but I quickly frown when he shakes his head

"No."

"Why?." I whined , crossing my hands over my chest hopping he would change his mind

"Because No , come on let's go." he said while grabbing my hand and pushing me towards the passenger side making me chuckle .

"Fine but one day I will" I said he laughed softly , but he nods his head making me squeal and clap my hands together

Adam parked in front of a huge building; It's beaten up , it almost looked like a place where killers kept their people, making a shiver go down my spine . I heard my door open making me look over and see Adam holding the door open

"Thanks." quickly getting out of the car and pulling down my shirt a bit , he laced our fingers while walking towards the building.

A huge door came to view, he opened the door and there was young boys , and older guys in the building. When they heard the door close all their heads snapped towards us.

We'll basically the young boys kept eyeing me up and down with a smirk and that made Adam pull me into his side, then these twins came up to us ..

"Are you Sanchez" The one with no hair said, a shiver went down my spine while seeing their intimidating expression

"Yeah?." I said while giving him a questing look , and gulping while Adam give me a squeeze .

"Come on Maria." Adam said while pulling me away from the scary looking twins who followed us with their eyes , he took me to the punching bags.

"Adam I thought we were gonna run?." I said while looking around the entire gym , placing my hands on my hips

"No, I'm teaching you how to fight" he said while taking his things out of his bag not looking at me

"You never told me that"

"Didn't I say that on the text?." he said with a smirk not looking at me

"No, you said we were gonna go to the gym." I said while looking at the beaten up gym but from what I can tell this gym helps because all these people are well built

"And I can fight" I said while sitting down on the matts , Adam looks over at me for a quick second and goes back to his bag.

"Sorry to brake it to you, but no you can't." he said while putting white tape around his knuckles and all around his hand.

"Yes; I can we'll mentally" I said while pointing to my brain and smiling

"Babe you need brains to fight , and we'll your brain isn't train" he said shrugging his shoulders softly

"Ugh, fine but why now?." I said

"Umm just to- let's just get started" he said not answering my question

"Up , Up" he said while grabbing my hand and yanking me up with full force making me giggle

"I'm up" I said putting my hands up

"Ok babe put your hands in a punching position?." then I put my hands in the position , he shakes his head .

"No don't put your thumb there and if you do your gonna brake your fingers." he said while taking my thumb out and placing it over my knuckles

"Ok , now what ?." he came behind me and put my legs in position while I looked down at him moving my legs further away from each other.

"Remember that's how you put your legs when you fight ,okay." he said while looking at me , I quickly nodded my head

"Yes sir." i said while I saluted him , he gave me a slanted smile while shaking his head

"Ok we'll this is my secret when you're punching a bag , let all your anger in those punch and just think of the people that you hate.." he said while looking dead in my eyes

"Got it." I brought my hand up how I see people do when they fight but I quickly stop when he shakes his head.

"No." Adam said he grabbed my hand and brought it higher

"And when your about to punch breathe out; for example when your about to fight you have to breathe out because if your opponent punched you in your stomach they blew all your air out." he said, I quickly nod my head

Breathing out and placing my legs where their suppose to be and lifting my hand up high and thinking about the people in my 6 grade class who made fun of me and making my middle school experience a living hell.

Quickly aiming my hand and punching the bag , dropping my hands and looking over to Adam

"How was that?" i questioned

"It was okay , not the best" rolling my eyes at his answer and quickly punching his right shoulder making him laugh.

"Now that was a good punch." He said while grinning making me roll my eyes at him

"Whatever"

"Oh my gosh !, Adam am I done yet?." I said while trying to catch my heavy breath and trying to gain it back to normal

"No babe ; you just got started" he said while drink his bottle water and dropping it to the floor

"Adam.." I whined

"Fine these last punches only" he led out making me smile

"Promise?."

"Promise"

"But put all your anger in that punch., make me feel satisfied." I nodded and looked at the punching bag.

Putting my legs back to where there suppose to be at and looking at the bag tiredly, building all my anger up and throwing my left hand to the bag giving all my energy to this punch, once my hand connects with the bag a loud echo crossed the room.

One of the hooks came off. when I let my hand down I saw everyone in the gym had their mouth open I look to Adam and he had the same expression

"Close your mouth babe.." I said with a smirk he instantly closed his mouth

"That was good babe" he said while getting up and kissing my jaw , pushing him away making him laugh and looking over to the people who's eyes were still wide. I look to the twins and see the one who has brown hair yell.

"Yeah ! She's a Sanchez " He shouted making everyone look back at me with a slide grin, I couldn't help but give them a stifle laugh.

It's been two hours since I've been at the gym ; I was currently talking to the twins who I encountered with while Adam practiced his punches.

I quickly found out the twins names , Bobby and Ben; are 22 years old , single , Ben has a bold head , bobby has brown hair and both have green eyes, and they look like they should be in MMA fighting because of how big they are, and how scary looking they are.

"Maria come here." Adam shouted while he looked over to me and the twins I couldn't help but smile and nod

"Got to go..talk to you later guys, nice meeting you" I said to bobby and Ben giving them a warm smile

"You too and we heard so much about yourself ." ben said with a smirk , I give them a questioning look

"How?."

"Adam can't stop talking about you." bobby said with a slide grin and I couldn't help but blush

"You have to tell me later okay , bye. " I said getting up from the seat they nod their heads

"Bye." I came up to the ring and wrapped my hand around the rope and pulled myself up

"What do you need ?." I said getting in while Adam chest rising up and down from his breathing.

"Come here." Walking slowly to him he quickly lays me down on the floor while I give him a questioning look.

"What are you doing?." I said

"Watch and count." I nodded then he got on top of me and kept doing push ups, our nose would keep touching by the last push up his lips were on mine .

We pulled away by hearing a click , we looked up and saw bobby there with a camera, I hid my face on the crock of Adam's neck blushing mad crazy.

"What the hell bobby" he shouted while his voice had a hint of amusement

"Nothing just taking a picture." he jumped down from the ring and walked over to Ben who's face had a huge grin.

"Come on.." Adam pulled me up back to my feet he grabbed his bag and jumped out of the ring while he grabbed my hips pulling me down, he laced our fingers and we passed by the twins .

"Bye guys" i shouted while waving at them with a huge grin

"Bye Maria."

"Oh and by the way thanks for telling me that Adam doesn't shut up about me." I shouted with a grin , the twins look at each other and smile

"No problem." then I look up to see Adam blushing like crazy. we were heading out the building when I saw the guy from the grave yard standing a couple of feet away from us.

I quickly yank him back making him look at me with a questioning look , "Adam that's him from the grave yard" I whispered to him .

He looked up and saw the guy leaning on his black car , Adam pulled me to his back while we moved a little bit closer .

"What do you want Mario !?." Adam shouted making Mario look over to us , he leaned up a little while crossing his hands over his chest .

"Just wanted to say introduce myself to mark's daughter " he said while shrugging his shoulders, I furrow my brows

? How does he know my dad?

He looked to me and smiled making a my stomach cringe " Hello Maria , I'm Mario and I just wanted to say hello to the popular daughter of the mark, and please dear tell him I said hello .. Also to your mother ."

"How do you know my parents?" I snapped peeking over Adams shoulder, while Adam had a tight hold on me

"Wow your a feisty one just like your mom and you don't know what's really happening, do you? " he said while laughing and shaking his head

"What do you mean?"

"Shut the fuck up Mario ! " Adam shouted in anger then Mario's face hardened , he looked over to me

"You shouldn't of said that" he snapped

"We'll Maria do you know your dad is still alive to this day and your mom knows he's alive and she always visit him and your little boyfriend here is in his gang with his friends" he said pointing towards Adam , my stomach dropped .

Then Adam pulled his hands up and punched Mario right in the face , I didn't move I was still in shock . I was yanked away from the scene and Adam pulled me to his car

Parking in front of my house Adam un buckled his seat belt and looked over to me and I didn't let gaze from my lap , he sighed and got out of the car and walked towards my side opening my door.

I got out while I handed Adam my key he opened the door and I walked towards the living room plopping down on the couch , I was lifted up and was sat on Adams lap.

"Is it true what he said?" I couldn't even talk right because of how much I was crying , he didn't answer. wiping my tears and looking up

"Is it?." I snapped

"yes it's true that he's not dead he's been alive, he faked his death because he had to protect you and your mom he didn't do it because he don't love you , he did it because he loves you " he said while running his hands through my hair

I couldn't believe I was hearing this, my brain couldn't take much of it , we stayed silent until Adam broke it

"Do you hate me?" my head snapped towards his direction

"No" i said while shaking my head

"Why do you say that?."

"because I thought you were gonna be that girlfriend to break up with their boyfriend when she found out her boyfriend is im a gang we'll about to be the boss and her father still being alive an-" I cut him of by placing my lips on his wanting him to shut up , he smiled into the kiss.

He slid his tung over my mouth I did something that shocked us both , i got my shirt and took it off he looked at my know sorta exposed body and smirked and whispered

"beautiful"

Then he kissed my neck I took off his shirt and then he picked me up and toke me to my room he laid me down softly and then hovered over me and kissed me.

and then I turned us around "today is full of surprises baby" I whispered in his ear I then started to kiss his abs and they were hard and then I went up and up and kissed his jaw line.

And next to his mouth I fanned my lips over his , his eyes showed full of lust then that's when someone interrupted us

"Honey ! I'm home ." mom shouted I got off of Adam and pulled my shirt on and threw Adam's shirt to him

"This isn't over" he said while pulling his shirt on

"It is" I said then I told Adam to leave because me and mom were about to talk , serious

I walked over to the kitchen and saw my mom with a big smile

"Hey sweetie how was your day?." she said

"Good a lot of interesting things happen today" i said while sitting on the counter while kicking my legs back and forth

"Like what?." she said

"We'll Adam taught me how to fight, and when we left there was a guy name...um what his name oh his name was Mario?." I said , looking over her smile dropped and she started to cook again

"Who's that?." she said trying to put a smile on her face while not looking at me

"don't act dumb mom !, you know who he is and you know my dad is alive and you see him so don't act fucking dumb. " i shouted and a couple of tears started to fall down my face

"honey I wanted to tell you b-" I cut her off by my hands slamming the counter loud

"you had sixteen fucking years !, but you didn't want to tell me when would you even tell me when I would be 50?. " I shouted

"honey I did it for your safety" then reality hit me she tried to protect me the whole time , I felt a huge slap in the face.

"I'm sorry mom but how did you think I was gonna take the news that my suppose to be dead dad is alive?." I said

"honey he did it for our safety" she said coming up to me and hugging me , I didn't hug her back but I patted her back and pulled her into a real hug

"When can I meet him?." I said while putting my head on her shoulder , she started to sooth me by playing with my hair

"Soon baby soon" she said while soothing my hair
