It was Monday morning and I regret saying those things to Maria I just couldn't control hearing that name 'Paola.'

When I'm angry, everything goes black and once Maria said her name I got mad, I couldn't control what kept escaping my mouth.

I could see Maria in her locker getting her books..she look so beautiful in red. I saw other boys drooling over her and she won't even notice, that's one thing I like about her she isn't over herself.

Then a voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Adam I couldn't find you on Sunday ?, You okay." my best friend Jose said, while leaning on the locker and raising his brow up.

Me and Jose have a long history together., He's the only person that knows me well he can tell when I'm not in the mood but he can tell when I'm down.

Let's start from the beginning shall we?.

We'll back in fourth grade Jose would get picked on constantly and when I mean that I mean it, in the bathroom. I felt bad for the kid.

Even back then people knew not to mess around with me; so I got sick one day from them treating him like that...so I went to the kids who were picking on him and punched them in the face and shouted.

"if I see you pick on him again your gonna regret it got it" I remembered those words so good

They all nodded there heads, knowing not to mess around with me. I looked back to Jose and we'll then we became best friends.

He lost weight got his braces off he cleared his skin, and bam there's the second towns badboy.

"Umm sorry I had a rough Saturday night and a hard Sunday." I said while looking at Maria who's walking away and her brown long curly hair swaying back and forth

Agh why did I have to do that! I said to myself . Jose notice me looking at Maria walking away he looked back at me, and then he sighs.

"Bro, you can tell me anything you know that," he said I nodded my head slowly

"I asked Maria to be my girlfriend on Saturday and i don't know how but she asked about Paola ?, I don't even know and I flipped out on her and we broke up that night" I said while scratching the back of my neck.

Jose left a chuckle "You have to control that anger inside of you," He rubbed his temples gathering all his thoughts

"Dude why would you flip out on her for asking a question about Paola ? and how does she even know about Paola by the way ?" he said I shrugged my shoulders not knowing the answers

"You know every guy would kill to be in your spot but your stupid self had to do that to her and mess it all up." he said while he slapped me across the head making me shake my head

"I know I know."i said and we walked to French class

We were in French class me and Jose were talking when I heard the door open, didn't pay to much attention but Jose's face fell to shock I look at him in a questing look I look to the front of the class and see Paola......

My heart dropped to my stomach, what the actual fuck.

My face was as if I saw a ghost, I was snapped out when the teacher started talking.

"You must be Paola Night?." he said her blond hair was to her hips and her blue crystal eyes burned into my green ones and then my face hardened.

My first love is standing a few feet away from me, then I heard Maria's name I look to see Jose talking to himself.

"Dam red is defiantly Maria's color and how her butt is agh ,like she is so H.O.T !" Jose said while I slapped his head he laughed and shakes his head.

"For a second I thought you were gunna go back to her and to see that you still have an interest on Maria. "he said with a simple shrug, I glance back at Paola and look back at Jose.

"Hell..no" I said

French class ended and I gathered my stuff and rushed out of the class I headed to my locker that's when I felt a tap on my shoulder I look back to Paola.

"What do you want?." I snapped she rolled her eyes

"Wow see that your still not over what happen four years ago ! ,let that go I even heard that you moved on and I wanted to tell you that I miss hanging out with you and Jose please can we be friends?."she said while her eyes started to water.

"Fine but with Jose only don't try any of your stunts" I said while looking at her ocean blue eyes a smiled crept to her face

"I won't did you ever hear that people change?." she said while smiling then out of the blue I felt her lips on mine.

My eyes darted at her with shock but the feeling of her lips reminded me back in the old days,

Why are you kissing her you idiot! my thoughts were going crazy but one thing I notice her lips It didn't feel right on mine only Maria's did..

We heard movement in the background but didn't pay much attention to it, I pulled away and her eyes showed regret

"Sorry wanted to see if I felt anything" she said I nodded

"But I didn't" I said she looked at me and nodded

"I did too." then she left and walked down the hallway

We got told that we had an assembly, so me and Paola and Jose and the twins and the rest of our 'gang' we're all the way in the back.

Then I saw Maria coming in with her friend April I saw her looking our direction but she looked away, she was about to sit alone in an empty spot but Noah shouted her name

"MARIA COME SIT WITH US" he shouted the entire gym turned into silence she blushed and smiled and got April's hand she walked towards the back where we sit at she looked at us for a quick second but quickly sat next to josh.

They kept laughing and she kept blushing then he whispered something to her that made her blush, hard.

I just bit my tung so I wouldn't go all crazy on him; Jose toke a glance at me and then toward Maria and josh he leaned back towards me

"I told you that every boy is trying to take your place." and with that said I got up and yanked her hand she looked shocked, I toke us both to a empty locker room then I looked back at her

"What the hell Maria !? You kept flirting with Josh." I shouted so loud the locker room echoed, she rolled her eyes

"i don't even know why I asked you to be my girlfriend and said I'm to clingy and I can't flirt with him but you can kiss the new girl?." She snapped, I stayed in silence she saw us kissing, she's the one we heard in the background

I stayed quite because she was right

"What I thought" she said with venom she was about to walk away that's when I grabbed her hand pushing her into my chest.

"That was Paola." I said her faced turned into shock but it quickly fell into a glare

"Be with Paola, I don't care." she exclaimed I looked right to her eyes and said

"Don't you get it ? I regret what I had said to you, I didn't mean itIsaid while grabbing her hips and pulling her towards me

"No I don't get it because you let her kiss you and you said those things to me" she snapped,

"I said those things because.., I care and I don't knowwhen I snap I can't control myself. "

She shakes her head and try's to escape but I quickly push her back into my chest cupping her chin and bringing my lips on hers, she was hesitant to kiss me back but she did, pulling away and resting our heads.

Here lips feel so right!

"We have to go." She said while catching her breathe i smirked

"Fine but if I see that boy come around you again it won't be pretty Princessa" I said, she smiled at my response
