It has been two days since Wilhelm paid me a visit and Casper is not over the shock yet. He hasn't talked to me since then.

I walked inside my room. Casper was not there so I threw myself on the bed and ran a hand through my hair, frustrated. I had no clue how to get a hold on the proofs that Alexander had asked for.

I could hear the clock ticking in the silence. Time was running out.

I picked up my phone and dialled Sara's number. I really needed someone to talk to.

"Hi Simon," I heard Sara's voice from the other side.

"Hey," I sighed, "Man, I am so tired."

"What's wrong?"

"There's something I wanted to tell you."

"Okay, spill the beans then."

I took a deep breath, "Remember that day when we were outside the church and I got a call and didn't leave with you guys?"

"Yeah, yeah. I had a feeling something was wrong."

"Well..." I explained everything from how Alexander called me and met me behind the church and how he had asked me to get proofs.

After we had met dad in the church, I had to tell her about the exchange between us and thus the exchange between August and me. So she knew what I was talking about.

"Oh shit," she said, "you are gonna be in a lot of trouble if Alexander spills."

"Exactly. I don't know what to do Sara," I groaned.

"Well, I wish I could help," Sara replied.

I rubbed my temples, "Yeah, no problem. Thanks for listening."

"Sure."

"Catch up with you later."

"Yeah."

I buried my face in the pillow and was about to doze off when I heard the bathroom door open.

I screamed involuntarily, "When did you get in there?"

Casper looked at me with a bored expression on his face, "I was here all the time. You should be more careful while talking about such confidential shit."

"Fuck," I said, burying my face in my hands.

"I could have been anyone. You're lucky I am just a friend," he continued rebuking me.

I raised my brows, "Yeah, and how can I trust you?"

Casper gasped, placing a hand on his chest as if he was deeply offended, "I recall that I also know of your little affair with the prince and I have not talked about it with anyone so far."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"Fine. Want more proof of my loyalty? I can help you with getting the proofs."

I snapped my head up a little too fast, accidentally spraining my neck, "How?"

"Aahm, someone might know a little bit about hacking," he said.

"What? Are you serious?"

"Yes, sugar," Casper said in his breezy way.

"Fuck, why didn't you tell this to me before?" I said, feeling a huge weight lifted off my chest, "but wait, what if someone realizes the accounts have been hacked and what if they delete the records?"

"Well, deleted things can also be retrieved, but it can be a little tricky. However, " he said, raising a finger, "I've got contacts baby boy."

"Don't call me baby boy," I snapped.

"I'm your only way out of this honey. You don't want to upset me," he winked.

"Ugh." Why is he like this?

"Just kidding," then he contemplated his own words, "or maybe not."

"Shut up and tell me how we are going to do this?"

"I can't tell you if I shut up."

I closed my eyes shut, took a deep breath, and pounced on him playfully. "I am so going to kill you," I said through gritted teeth.

"You can't. You need me," he said, barely able to breathe through fits of laughter.

In a few minutes we were lying on my bed, breathing heavily. I looked down at Casper, and he looked up at me. For a moment, I saw something flicker in his eyes but I quickly pulled away the eye contact.

"Simon?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you in love with Wilhelm?"

I gauged Casper's expressions.

"Yes."
