《His Name Was Tate》Tims truth

Our make up was finally finished and I absolutely loved it. I thank god I put an effort in with my hair and out fit today, so it didn't look out of place. I had my natural hair up in an sort of up do Mohawk kind of look. And it looked good with the make up.
The lady gave me a beautiful red eye, with a brown lip with a shiny gloss, with some lovey lashes. I looked like a whole new person.
Tim was already done and he was feeling himself even more now. But he didn't necessarily do make up, he just asked if they can give him so sparkles or something instead of make up, and they did. And it looked great on him.
Becks was almost done. I watched the lady carefully. She gave Becks a more natural look but the only thing that differed was the eyes. Her eyes shadow was gold with an amazing wing and the most lushes lashes. She also put a little blue shadow below her eye and put eyeliner there as well. They made her eyes pop.
When she was done we all stood side by side. "We look hot." Becks said.
"Yes. Yes we do." Tim said in agreement. We admired ourselves in the mirror for awhile before leaving. We were about to leave the mall, but the two of them stopped in there tracks immediately.
"We have an idea." They said in unison.
I looked at them questioningly. They have been acting weird all day and I hadn't really said anything but there has to be something going on here. "What?!" I said worriedly.
"Let's put on our fits, and go to back decked out in our new stuff." Becks said excitedly.
"Yeah it would be so much fun." Tim second. That awkward smile appeared again. What are these two up to?
"Now why in the world would we do that?" I said.
"Why in the world not? You were just saying you wouldn't even know when you would wear it, well here's your opportunity. And besides we already have our make up done, nails done. And we have all the stuff we need. Let's just do it. What's there to loose?" She said.
I squinted my eyes at her and then at Tim. I could ask them all I want, but they won't tell me what's going on. So clearly it's some type of surprise. I rolled my eyes. Fine. I'll play ball. I nodded my head. "Sure let's do it. "

"Yay!" Said Becks.
The three of us made our way to the family bathroom and got changed together. And while we changed, something suddenly crossed my mind. I wanted to ask them about what was going on with Tim and Tyler.
I cleared my throat as I pulled in my dress. Tim was facing the wall. He came in with us just to make sure we didn't need help with the zippers and stuff. And Becks insisted.
"So? Tim? Can I ask you something kind of personal?" I said.
Becks looked at me for a second with questioning eyes. "Yeah anything, Angel." Tim said.
"When did you and Tyler get so close?" I asked. Becks eyes went to the back of his head. He visibly stiffened.
"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable? I was just curious. You don't have to-"
"I like him." He said bluntly. He was still facing the wall but he was rocking backs d forth on his feet.
A wide smile went across me and Becks face. "How long have you liked him?" Becks asked.
"Well....One thing I want to make clear. I always came to the hospital for Angel, T was just a added bonus." He said quickly.
"I know. I love you too. Now spill." I said as I turned my back to Becks so she could zip me up.
"Well, the more we visited, the more we talked. One day when I was waiting in the lobby for Becks to finish using the bathroom, he approached me. We started talking about you, and then school. And then we bonded over the fact that we both played football. And as time went on we just kept talking about other things. And the more we talked, the bigger my feelings grew." He said with pure nervousness coating his voice.
"I kind of figure you like him, but I wanted you to tell me on your own time." Said Becks as she turned her back to me so I could zip her up.
"How long have you know you were-" before I could get the words out he interrupted.
"I knew I was attracted to him the moment I saw him. But I've never felt that way towards anyone. Like I like women, and I....I think I like men. Or maybe it's just him....I don't completely know. I think women are attractive and I think men are attractive, but he's the only one that I ever liked. I never really had feeling for anyone before. This is....new to me. I don't know if there's a label for what I am. I'm still trying to figure it out." He said his nervousness slowly leaving his voice.

"There is no need to rush yourself. These are new feelings. Your not meant to immediately understand them. It takes time and patience. Like getting to know a knew person. You have to get to know that part of yourself." Becks said as she began slipping on her shoes.
The room went silent for a bit. Then Tim cleared his throat. "Hey, Angel? Dot you know if Tyler is...interested in men?"
"I never really asked. But I do remember one time when I was younger I asked him what type of person he would marry. He said nothing else would matter, as long as the person he married was his."
"Ah. Ok. Got it." He said. I could see his shoulder visibly sag and my heart ached. Damn, I should've been more noisy as a kid and asked more questions.
"Stop all that moping. That means you may have a chance. I mean if he's into younger guys." Becks said that last part under her breath so he couldn't hear. "You can turn around now."
He did, and we were met with watery eyes. "Oh Tim." I said. We walked over to him and hugged him tight. The two of them towered and squished me and I loved every second of it.
"Thanks guys. Really." He said in a whisper, kissing both our heads. We pulled away.
"Have you told your brothers yet?" I asked and he shook his head no.
"What are you afraid of?" Becks asked.
"That they won't except me." He said in a small voice.
"They already made that mistake before." I said.
"And they will NEVER make it again. ESPECIALLY, with you. Your brothers adore." She said raising her hand to her cheek.
"They will love every ounce of you and who ever you end up loving." I said holding his hand.
He nodded and we wiped away some fallen tears. "Thank you." He said.
"No problem." Becks said.
"No, seriously. Now that I have a small taste of what you been through, I'm so sorry that we turned our back on you. And I wish I could change that but I have never appreciated someone more." He said looking Becks straight in the eye making sure she understood every word he said, in body and in soul.
Then his gaze moved to me. "And you. You didn't have to except any of us. We are a group of damaged, broken, and extremely stupid people. And you loved all of us, even Mike, with everything you had. And I want you to know that we really do love you. Me. Mike. Rebecca. Tate. You are the breath of fresh air we never knew we needed and we adore you for it." He said.
"He's not wrong you know. I don't know where'd I'd be of I never found you standing in the middle of the hallway." Becks said with a smile. Now we were all teary eyed.
"I love you guys too. Even Mike." I said on a sob.
"No. No. No. We can't cry! Our make up." Becks yelled as she began to fan my face. "Come on, girl we almost done. Then we have to help him in his corset."
I nodded. Me and Becks finished up, and began to help Tim with his corset. He wasn't able to completely tighten it earlier, and for it to fit properly he needs some else.
Once we were finished, we looked at ourselves in the mirror. The full concept was complete. And we looked good. "You guys ready?" Becks asked.
"Hell yeah!" Me and Tim yelled. And we made our way out of the mall feeling like fashionistas.
The next few chapters will be there visuals so you can see what they looked like in full glam.
