I followed in silence. Waiting for anything to break this quiet. "So you going to the Halloween party this weekend?" I asked.

"Yes I am. You shouldn't." He said. I stared at the back of his head in confusion. "And why is that?" I asked.

"You don't seem like the type to enjoy that type of thing? Hell I doubt you ever been to house party." He said with a sarcastic smile.

"You know you shouldn't assume things about people? It's kind of rude." I said bluntly.

"Well am I wrong?" He asked

"No." I said shyly. "But you never know, I could surprise you and-" I suddenly run into something rock hard.

"Ouch." Tate said in front of me.

"Sorry." I said. I ran into him? Why is he so rock solid?

"Get the keys out my pocket and unlock the door." He said. I began searching for his keys accidentally touching everything.

"It feels like your taking advantage of me, rather than looking for the keys." He said with a wild smirk on his face.

I look at him with an annoyed look. "If you would tell me where the were, this would go along a lot faster." I said.

He looked at me with an amused look in his eyes. "You literally groped me all over my lower half, but didn't even bother to check my hoodie pocket first?" He said almost on the verge of laughing.

I'll be honest. This is the third time he has had me speechless today. "I think I prefer the times when you would call me annoying and barely spoke to me." I said as I reached in his pocket.

I turned my back to him and began unlocking the door. I could hear him chuckling behind me. I ignored him and made my way into the room. I stood in awe at the room once more. It was really breathtaking.

"Little owl? You gonna sit there all day and gawk at the glass or are you gonna come here and help me finish this project?" He said with amusement in his voice.

I looked over at him and saw him rummaging through his paint brushes. He walked over to the wall near the door and pulled off an apron that laid on hook next to the it. He quickly put it on and through one my way. "Put it on. So you don't get your clothes dirty." He said in a hushed voice.

He seems a lot more relaxed here. He seemed at peace. His usual cocky yet quiet demeanor seemed peaceful and calm. A small smile slipped on my lips. It was nice to see a different side to him, even if it was temporary. I knew after this project he would probably want nothing to do with me. I bet the only time he would talk to me after this is to talk about Becks.

I pushed the thought out of my jeans and quickly tried to put the apron but I'm very sure I did it incorrectly. He looked up from what he was doing and chuckled. "You don't tie it like a cooking apron. Here." He began walking over to me and stood behind me. As he began to tie the apron, my body became extremely aware of his every movement. When his arms wrapped around me, I thought I would faint.

I felt my heart beating at a rapid pace. I was nervous, and excited. And neither were good for my heart. I tried calming myself down. Taking slow and careful breathes. I guess Tate noticed something was off cause his movements stilled for a moment.

"You good?" He asked from behind me. I nodded.

"Your got asthma or something?" He asked finishing up tying the strings of the aprons.

"Or something. Why? Is it noticeable?" I asked. Of course I knew it was noticeable, but I was curious on what he was gonna say.

"Well the past few weeks that I've known you, I've seen you loose your breathe from just taking a few steps. You get winded when you get too excited or nervous." He moved from behind me and stood in front of me with a knowing look. He began to get closer and closer and my body instinctively began to move back.

"And though I would love to be the cause of your heart beating so fast that it's as if your running a marathon, I doubt that I'm the cause of that. And the fact that you try to hide it means you don't want people to know about it. I just can't figure out why you would hide it?" He said. With every word he got closer and closer til my back was against the wall. I could feel his breath on my forehead as he stared down at me. His eyes bore into me with such intensity. Something in me began to stir and a slight shiver rang through my body.

A slight smirk appeared on his face. "You cold?" He asked. I shook my head no. His gaze began to my lips and it seemed like the work around us melted.

My heart and lungs began to dance vigorously through out my body, I tried my best to cover it, but I think he could notice that my breathing was getting out of control. He backed up to give me space. With the space between us, I was able to regain my composure, but I'm not gonna lie. I missed his closeness.

"Let's get started on the project. You start drawing on one of the black canvases, while I set up the paints and stuff." The satisfied smirk on his face while he spoke made me angry. He knew his affect on me now. And I'm terrified on what that meant for me.
