Sofia looks over and spots you looking at fruits to buy.
She calls out your name, you look up and in the direction of your name and smile upon seeing your best friend. "Sofie." You said, she ran up to hug you, you laughed as she let you go.
"I haven't seen you in a few!" She explained with a bright smile on her face.
"You literally saw me a week ago, Sofia." You laughed. Sofia scoffed, "Okay and? It's still a long time." She looked away jutting out her chin as she looked up in the air.
Miguel walked up to Sofia wrapping his arm around her shoulders. A smile appeared on her face as it softened turning to look at Miguel.
You shook your head letting out a chuckle, "How long have you two been dating?" You asked as Sofia looked at you.
"How long have you been moping about Camilo?"She asked, raising a brow. "Okay." You nodded your head, "No need to be rude about it." You said looking off to the side.
Your eyes grew wide. You blinked making sure that you weren't seeing things. Your lips twitched the two of you holding eye contact.
It was Camilo.
You took a deep breath in, you began to smile but he began to walk away. Your expression faltered.
"Girl you good?" Sofia asked, snapping her fingers in front of your face.
You flinched looking back at your friends. "Sorry what?" You smiled looking at the two.
"You've changed." She said it was close to your face. "All of us have changed." You said nearing closer.
"You're different though."
"Speaking about different, I love your new confidence!" You punched her shoulder, changing the subject.
Although she was in pain, Sofia looked up at you and placed her hand on her hip, "Thanks." She said, looking off to the side tilting her head upwards. "But it's all thanks to this guy here." She said nudging Miguel's side. He softly chuckled, "You've changed too." You said looking at him, "You seem more... calm." You say.

Camilo freaked out, it was the first time he had seen you in a year! How was he supposed to act around you?
He tried to calm down.
Gosh you were still as pretty as he still remembers you.
He threw his head back tapping the wall he leaned on gently.
His eyebrows furrowed, Scratch that, you were way prettier than he remembered you.
He blushed, he needed to set things right between the two of you. But he didn't know how.
"Aw!" You said looking up at Sofia. "Stop it! I love you!" You said taking the gift she gave you and hugged her.
She gave you another book. You were a big fan of romance books, sure they made you feel lonely on the inside leaving you crying late at night about it, but it was still your favorite genre.
"I hope you like the book." Sofia smiled, you nodded your head, "Of course!" You smiled back.
You headed back home eager to start the new book, you read the first page and it looked interesting. You looked down at your book not paying attention to your surroundings bumping into someone.
"Sorry." You chuckled looking up. You were surprised, it was Mateo, you weren't sure if it was Camilo or the real Mateo when the guy smirked looking at you, "what's your name beautiful?" He asked leaning down, he reached to cup your face when you moved out of their way. "No thanks." You quickly said starting to walk (in reality you were booking it) away.
You took a sharp left almost bumping into another person before you quickly swerved out of their way. 'Talk about fast reflects, Y/N.' You thought smiling to yourself.
But as always, something always goes wrong. "Y/N?"
You bumped into the wall, protecting your book, you lifted it up in the air and away from the wall as your head crashed into the wall.
You prayed that said person had already walked away when you touched your nose. It stung.

You looked at your fingertips to see your nose was in fact bleeding. 'Oh... cool.' A smile of fear on your face as someone rushed to you.
"Oh geez, you're bleeding." They panicked running up to you, tilting you forward a bit.
They blindly lead you to their house. "Casita take us to the bathroom please." They said and the floor tiles began to move the two of you. "Wait a sec." You looked up, "Camilo?" In a soft tone you spoke.
Casita had already led you to the bathroom and he led you inside, you simply walked where he pushed you, not asking any questions as you continued to stare at him. He quickly sat you down on the toilet.
He grabbed a cloth and damped it with warm water.
"Gosh you're still as clumsy as I remember you." He said as he gently began to dab your nose wiping away the blood. "Hey." You said, lowering a brow, "At least I kept my book safe."
Camilo stopped what he was doing to look at you pulling a face. He shook his head and blinked a couple of times and returned what he was originally doing.
"You could have broken your nose."
"And your Aunt could've easily healed me." You started back.
He clicked his tongue and applied some pressure on your nose. You yelled in pain, "Hey, watch it." You warmed him.
He stood back up and went to rinse off the cloth, you sniffed, an awkward silence falling between the two of you.
You fiddled with your fingers, "Thanks." You said looking up at him who was looking at the cloth like it was the most interesting thing he had ever seen.
"Yeah." He replied turning off the tap and he ringed the cloth. He dried his hands looking at you before quickly looking at something else.
The two of you said at the same time. Surprised you turned to face each other.
You both let out a chuckle.
You stayed quiet this time around and waited for him to say something. You motion for him to go first. He hesitates before opening his mouth to speak.
"Look, I'm sorry about what I did a year ago. It was fucked up of me to do and it wasn't fair to you, or towards your feelings. I understand you might hate me now, and I totally understand if you do. Y/N." He turned to look at you, "But I'm really, really sorry. I had been regretting lying to such a beautiful person like you and because of my actions I also lost my best friend. I've never forgiven myself for what I did to you. I'll never forgive myself for letting the love of my life slip away from my grasp." He says the last sentence softer than the rest. He slowly looks at you as you stare at him.
You stood up and slowly made your way to you.
Camilo braised himself thinking you got up to slap him, but instead you did the opposite and hugged him.
"I'm sorry too. I left before I had given you the chance to explain yourself. I'm sure you had a good reason why, but..." You pushed him away from you. "It didn't give you the excuse as to why you let me fall in love with some else when in reality it was you all along." You shoved him backwards with each couple of words.
You stared at him with tears in your eyes before you brought him back into a hug. You tightly wrapped your arms around his back, almost crushing Camilo. But he didn't care. He missed you. More than he could've ever remembered.
He hugged you back, burying his head in the crook of your neck. You smiled resting your head on his, breathing in the scent of his shampoo.
