All of the other bridesmaids chime in with their own little comments.
"Guys... Im getting married!!" Jackie screams from excitement as the other girls join in.
"Not without your vail you're not!! Where is that thing?" Her soon to be sister in law asks.
"Oh, I think I left it upstairs" Jackie replies with a pout.
"Don't worry, I'll get it" her soon to be sister in law replies with a sweet smile before she runs off.
"She is SO annoying." One of the bridesmaids state once she has left the room.
"I know! And she's going to be my sister in law in an hour!" She says out of pure disgust.
"Sooo, tell us... what happened with Tom last night?" The other bridesmaid asks with a wiggle of her eyebrows.
"Shhhhhhh!" Jackie says hoping no one heard.
"So I told him, If he wanted to stop the wedding he had to speak up now. But he said he was never going to settle down, and I should just go ahead and marry FP." She explains with an eye roll earning a few from her bridesmaids.
"Ouuu, did he give you a wedding present?" One of them asks while mimicking a sex move.
"I guess you could call it that." She replies with a smirk as the others burst into laughter.
"Shhhh it's the last time I swear!" She states quietly.
"Yeah right!" One of them replies.
"FP is so sweet and considerate and he's gunna be a cardiologist! So I'm marrying him... and the big zucchini in the middle of his face" she says making fun of the size of his nose.

They all start laughing together as they keep adding little comments. But what they didn't know is that FP and his cousin, Ben, had been listening the entire time. A few tears streamed down his face while listening to how awful his soon to be wife was talking about him.
"FP, I'm so sorry." Ben says.
FP just leaves. He wasn't marrying that toxic of a human. Instead he devised to go to a bar, to drink away his sorrows. Halfway done with drinking his last beer, a beautiful, sexy woman comes into the bar trying to get past a bunch of men who keep hitting on her. She eventually gets to the bar and takes a seat beside FP, but drops her purse in the process.
"You dropped your pur-"
"Can I just sit for ten seconds and not get hit on? Thanks." She stages dramatically cutting him off.
He sighs as he reaches down to grab her purse. "I was just letting you know you dropped her purse." He says putting on the bar for her.
She sighs once she sees the wedding ring on his hand. "Oh I'm sorry- I'm sure you didn't meet the lady who gave you that ring in a meet market like this." She says with a smile. "How long have you been married?" She adds.
Wanting to tell her the truth, he opens his mouth to speak but he really didn't want her to know what a loser he was. So he decided to... stretch the truth a little bit. "Six years." He says plainly.
"Where's your wife tonight?" She asks while playing with her hair.
"I stopped asking that question a long time ago" he replies with a shake of his head.
"You poor guy... you wanna get out of here?" She asks with a grin. He replies with a nod.

A Wizard's Soul
There are those who dislike the way things are within their world and work to change it. They are often called the Simpler Souls. Yet there are also those that will do all they can to change the world itself. Most of them are called mad. Some of them have another title though. Wizard. An Epic Level 3.5 Wizard is sent to Remnant. (RWBY/D&D 3.5 Crossover) (Crossposted onto A03, RRL, and Sufficient Velocity.)
8 137The Radiant War
The human world is aflame with war. Nations clash with their neighbours, while the Kelvon Empire, bulwark of the human world, stands on the brink of civil war. The plans of the enemies of mankind to destroy human civilisation, to restore their own mastery of the world, are well on the way to success. The people of Helberion have vowed to defeat those plans, though. Peace must be restored between the various peoples of mankind so that they can combine their efforts against their true enemy. Even while her country strives to avoid conquest and defeat at the hands of their traditional enemies the Carrowmen, therefore, Princess Ardria journeys to Carrow to meet with the enemy King in an almost hopeless attempt to persuade him of the truth. All her hopes rest on the assumption that he in an unwitting dupe of the true enemy, but lurking at the back of her mind is the fear that he may be all too aware of the truth, that he may have sold out humanity for the promise of personal power. If this is true, then all that awaits her at the end of her journey through fear and danger is imprisonment and the life of a hostage to be used against her father, King Leothan. The Brigadier would help her if he could, but he and Malone, his former batman, are far away, each having their own missions to try and ensure the survival of human civilisation. Having completed his latest task, the Brigadier must race to join her, to assist and protect her, but will he reach her before she arrives at the palace of the enemy King? And will the Princess still have a country to be Princess of by the time she arrives there? Because even if Helberion manages to defeat the all conquering armies of Carrow there is another, even deadlier threat waiting in the wings against which there may be no defence... This is volume three of the Ontogeny series. If you haven't read volume one, Ontogeny, and volume Two, The Electric Messiah, you should read them first.
8 136The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
8 282(Discontinued) Aevitas - Not an NPC [unfinished]
A discontinued story. I don't advise people to read this story, but it is the basis for my new one: Aevitas — I am not an NPC [R] New remodelled version may not yet be out, but if it isn't it should be 'soon'.
8 61Goddess' Landing
Once, a goddess descended from a star and gave birth to magic, but it sparked a long-lasting war between two fronts. Only a hundred years had passed since her disappearance, and a young smith holds the key to unlocking its cause.
