《New generation》Accusing the wrong

The next day Eve woke up in River's cabin, her vision blurry but as soon as she blinked it away Jack was above her, waving his hand back and fourth in front of her face.
Eve gave a tried groan as Jack spoke up, "Jennifer's calling an urgent meeting, hurry she sounds serious." With that Eve heard the cabin door shut, Eve barely processed the words said but when she did she was quick to get up from the couch and run out the door.
She was glad she didn't smell of green 'grass' but that didn't stop her from thinking they'd got caught somehow, Damn she should've listened to Marcus. She wasn't worried about Jennifer sounding serious because quite frankly she always sounded serious.
When she entered the big house she was kinda taken aback not seeing anyone else except Jennifer, who was sitting at her desk with her pen in hand. Eve cleared her throat and closed the door behind her, "You called for a meeting?"
Jennifer drop her pen and got up, "Not me but Zeus," Eve's full attention was now on her as Jennifer put on her white scarf, "He's having a meeting with the rest of them now but you should stay here... he wants to talk to you separately." With that Jennifer walked pasted her and out the door, leaving an unsettled Eve behind.
Not long after Zeus came though the door as Eve sat waiting, she straighten up as soon as he came in, "Eve.. it's been some time." Zeus's voice came out like he wanted to be anywhere but there, Eve didn't blame him she herself as usual regretted taking that brownie the night before.
"Yeah it has..." Eve didn't know what else to say, she always tried to pick her words carefully when she was around Zeus or anyone intimidating for that matter. Zeus didn't bother taking a seat nor did it look like he was staying for too long, "Where's my bolt?" He demanded with a tried sigh.

"What?"
Eve wasn't in the mood to guess what he was talking about so she patiently waited for Zeus to explain, "My Lightning bolt, I know you take it, now where is it?" Eve scoffed and shook her head, "I didn't take your stupid Lightning bolt." Her voice came out bitter do to Zeus accusing her of such actions, the sound of Lightning can be heard outside almost like a warning.
Eve wasn't surprised about Zeus accusing her in fact she was quite used to people pointing fingers at her if something went wrong, of course they'd be blaming the satan's child, it's happened before.
"I have my reasons of believe..." Zeus looked her over almost with a sneer and Eve couldn't help but give him the same look, "...if you don't have it then you are to find it." Eve bit her Inter lip from saying anything because if she did protest, well let's just say she didn't want to test her luck.
"I believe it could also be Percy Jackson who has it, he's located in camp half-blood and if you don't return it by summer solstice well let's just say you won't live long enough to see the prophecy happen." Zeus threatened as all Eve could do was stare at the ground and bounce her leg up and down, she could taste blood as she bit her Inter lip to hard but it was healed just as fast as it came.
"Understood?"
Eve's voice came out quiet, "Yeah... understood." With that a loud crack sounded, informing her of Zeus's absences. Eve sighed with distress, "Fuck." She mumbled out as she clenched her fist and kept bouncing her leg up and down, her movements stopped completely when the door opened once more.

Jennifer barely gave her a glance before she went and sat at her desk, "You are to pick 3 others to go with you on your quest." Jennifer wasn't looking at her as she continued going through her drawer but as Eve lingered Jennifer looked up sharply, "You could go now." Eve was quick to leave after that.
She went to where she knew everyone would be at this time, the training field. Once she was there she didn't have to gather everyone do to them already coming towards her, Milo was the first to speak up though, "So, who are you choosing?" Eve immediately figure Jennifer had informed them on what was happening.
Eve sighed and looked between all of them, she already knew who she was picking as she thought of it on her way over, "Well we're gonna be looking for the Lightning bolt so... I was hoping you'd come," she looked at Jack directly, she knew if someone could sense the bolt it'd be Jack, do to him controlling electricity she'd hope he was was the closest shot to finding it.
Jack gave a brief nod as he breathe heavily do to him just running laps, Eve didn't miss the concern look Allison made at jack but she'd figure the two would talk about it after privately. Eve then looked over at Lucas, "I was also thinking you'd come, you know if you get a vision on the way it could help." Sam didn't look worried for Lucas as she nodded along Eve's words and waited for Lucas's response, "Yeah, sure."
Eve gave the couple a tightlipped smile as she looked over at rose, they'd both knew rose was coming from the start, they were half sisters what did you expect?. They both shared a look of understanding, "Rose.."
"Coming, got it." Rose pushed it aside easily, as she put her elbow on top of river's shoulder and nodded at her. Eve nodded back and rubbed her hands together, "Okay, I suggest you guys go freshen up and go pack up, we only till the summer socialist to find this thing so we leave tonight." Everyone listened to the order as they all left and did their thing, as Eve was leaving she didn't need to turn to see who was following her.
"I could be useful you know?" Marcus caught up to her as they both headed to her cabin, "Why didn't you pick me?" Honesty there were a lot of reasons why she didn't pick Marcus but she didn't have the time to list them all.
"I'd be better this way." It wasn't an excuse nor a reason but she'd hope Marcus would leave the subject alone and thankfully the curly headed tan boy did leave it alone but it didn't mean it'd stop him from bragging, "Yeah, no actually your totally right, we wouldn't want anything happening to this beautiful face." He dramatically 'flipped' his hair and sighed dreamily, obviously full of himself.
Eve shook her head and looked up at the sky, she prayed the boy would get over himself. Marcus only bumped his shoulder with her's as he laughed.
That night Eve, Rose, Jack and Lucas were on their way to New York, camp half-blood to be exact to find Zeus's Lightning bolt.

Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

A man commits suicide and is reincarnated, the rest is up to the readers. This is heavily reader interactive. I dont own the picture, I found it on Google.
