seokjin laughed as he saw his niece's face, flour all over her face and the chocolate syrup on the tip of her nose.
"what happened to you?" he asked, still laughing.
miyeon rolled her eyes. she then glared at jungkook who's also laughing with flour all over his upper body.
good thing about miyeon, she likes pretty things. bad thing about her, she likes pretty things.
she hates feeling sticky, she hates the strands of her hair covering her eyesight, she hates the rain as it gets the ground full of mud and it might stick on her feet, she hates soup as it might ruin her dress.
and she probably hates jungkook for doing this especially to her face.
"do i look unpleasant?" miyeon asked, her voice cracking.
"unpleasant?" jungkook raised his eyebrows.
seokjin immediately picked up the wet wipes and starts to gently wipe the flour all over his niece's face.
unpleasant, an adjective that miyeon always used to describe things that doesnt go according to her style as she used to labeled it as ugly before but her parents scolded her for saying such words just because she doesnt like it.
miyeon's obsession with pretty things and only pretty things actually bothered both hoseok and sunmi.
"why? what happened?" sunmi came, yawning.
they had a sleepover but sunmi and hoseok would probably go after lunch since they still have work to do and miyeon would stay in the house.
"mom! uncle kookie made me look like this," miyeon came running towards her mother, "i hate him!" she hissed.
sunmi's eyes widened in surprised. she knelt down to meet her daughter's eyes, she looks apologetic towards jungkook but the boy just shrugged it off.
"what happened?" hoseok popped out, asking his brother.
"we were playing and she got flour all over her face, she saw it and walked away crying." jungkook explained.

hoseok took in a deep breathe, "this is drama." he softly said.
"why are you crying, then? you and uncle kookie were just playing, sweetheart." sunmi explained.
"and see? you are all cleaned up."
miyeon touched her face and looked at her hands after, relieved that the flour and the chocolates wasnt on her face already.
"i looked ugly earlier. i hate it!" she said as if afraid.
"kim miyeon, i told you to stop saying that, okay?" sunmi widened her eyes at her daughter, "what made you think that you deserve nothing but pretty things when you dont even work hard for it, hm?"
"mommy, are you saying that i dont deserve pretty things?" miyeon asked, taken aback.
the adults let out a faint sigh, having such a smart but spoiled child is really a pain in the ass.
"you do, baby," sunmi kissed her forehead, "it's just that you have to work hard for it. also, you dont call things ugly so easily, it might hurt other people." she explained.
"and what does that have to do with me?" she asked crossing her arms.
jungkook bit his lower lips crossing his arms finding the scene so interesting.
miyeon was just standing across her mother, unbothered. she had her arms crossed and her eyebrows raised.
she looked like a very beautiful angel but her mouth says otherwise.
"miyeon, you should consider what other people feels. didnt i tell you that, huh?"
"even to stranger?" miyeon asked.
"yes, sweets. even to strangers."
miyeon gasped rolling her eyes, "they're not even family." she said, "i hate ugly people!" she screamed.
hoseok clenched his jaw, he ran his fingers through his hair.
seokjin bit the insides of his cheeks knowing that his brother is already pissed because of what his daughter keeps on saying.

"miyeon, you go face the wall and raise your hands up," hoseok said in an overly calm voice, "dont move until i told you so." he said pointing at the corner.
"hy.. hyung..."
seokjin was about to reach out for his brother but jungkook immediately pulled him back.
"this is how he discipline," jungkook whispered, "let's not get on the way." he said, slightly shaking his head.
sunmi bit her lower lips shutting her eyes closed as she saw the dissapointment instead of fear in her daughter's eyes.
miyeon growing up has been changing especially when it comes to her attitude.
hoseok and sunmi is very much hands-on even with their demanding jobs, they always make sure that they would still have quality time with their daughter.
miyeon is loved by so many people but will get scolded once she did something wrong, her parents will make sure that she would understand why she's being scolded so that she would learn a lesson too.
just where exactly did both hoseok and sunmi go wrong?
"didnt you hear me, kim miyeon?" hoseok asked, his voice strict.
miyeon looked up at her father, most kids wont do because of fear.
"i did," miyeon said furrowing her brows, "but what did i do wrong?" she asked.
jungkook tilted his head, confused but amused.
the kid sure have a very strong mentality as well as personality, she's unbothered even if there's people trying to reprimand her.
having those qualities is a bonus points in life but it needs to be balanced. in miyeon's case, it is too much.
"i am facing the wall because i called people ugly but that's what i wanted to say! should i fake everything that i am feeling just so people wouldnt get mad?" miyeon asked.
hoseok licked his lower lips clenching his fist and trying so hard to calm himself, his wife backed away already.
hoseok grabbed his daughter's wrist making her face the wall on the corner and raising her hands up himself which miyeon eventually did.
"it's because you doesnt have any basis or any valuable reason to call people like that. what did they do to you, young lady?" hoseok said.
"not because you wanted to say it means you can, that's why you have to think too. consider what other people would feel." he tried to explain.
"did you get it now, miyeon?" hoseok asked, his expression softened.
miyeon straightened her back and raised her hands up higher.
"no!" she said with so much emphasis in her voice.
"then you stay there!" hoseok yelled, massaging his temples.
hoseok wrapped his arms around her wife's waist looking at their daughter with a longing gaze before taking in a deep sigh.
all of them walked inside the kitchen. hoseok was just sitting on the dining with his eyes shut closed while massaging his temples.
"miyeon is such a sweet girl," jungkook protruded his lips, "with a twist." he smirked, shaking his head.
seokjin slapped his boyfriend's arms widening his eyes.
he knows that miyeon did something wrong as he keeps on talking back to her parents but he's an uncle! he couldnt help but to still feel bad for his precious niece.
"miyeon is such a handful." sunmi said.
hoseok then stared at both his brother and jungkook.
"end miyeon's punishment, ten minutes after we leave." hoseok said.
seokjin slowly nods his head knowing very well that, that's what his brother said so therefore it should be done.
"i can stay like this forever!" miyeon screamed.
"kim miyeon!" hoseok yelled, slamming his fist against the table.

A Challenge To An Arranged Marriage
"Ian? Please. Why are you not answering me?" Lisa shouted raising her voice to probably gain his attention."You want to know the truth?" Ian replied shifting his head away from the painting to look directly at her, staring into her eyes. While he started taking small steps in her direction."You really want to know why we are here." He asked again still moving forward. His voice was deep and hoarse and the way he was looking at her, made her take some steps back that was until her back hit the wall. Without saying anything he leaned forward placing both of his arms around her so that she was now trapped between him and the wall. He moved his face forward directly in front of her.Lisa could feel his hot breathe on her neck as he bent forward to place his mouth on her neck, placing a tender kiss there. Lisa took a large gulp of air trying to control the tingles, she was feeling down there."I was jealous, Lisa," He breathed out in her ears placing yet another kiss just below her earlobe. "I was jealous when you took hold of Cole's hand. I was jealous when you let that piece of shit place his hands on you. I was jealous when you danced with him. I was jealous, Lisa, very jealous." He continued as he removed his mouth from her neck, leaning forward to stare directly into her eyes."So let me tell you the truth. I am a very possessive man, Lisa and I don't share what's mine. And when it comes to you I certainly can't control myself." He concluded as he closed the gap and placed his lips on her.
