~SIX YEARS LATER~
"Are you excited?" Tony's mom asked him.
He smiled as he looked at himself in the mirror. "Yeah, I am."
He had on white dress pants and shoes, a white blazer resting over a black button-up shirt, and to top it all off a white bow-tie.
"Ok, well I'm going to go check when we're starting." His mother announced as she left the room.
Tony turned towards me. "I'm scared."
I smiled at him and patted the seat next to me. "Why?" I asked him.
"I don't know, I just am." He paused and looked at me. "Weren't you scared when you and Jacob got married?"
I smiled remembering the day.
He had proposed to me 10 months ago, and then 7 months after we had our wedding. There were some minor bumps in the road but we got through them, together.
I remember it like it was yesterday. My mom walking me down the aisle. I was in my sleek black tuxedo and he was in his. I was scared the whole time the officiant was talking, but when he finished and I turned to look in Jacob's eyes...I knew that everything was going to be alright.
And that's exactly what I told Tony to calm him down.
He smiled at me. "Just look in his eyes and everything will be okay." I said to him.
"Thank you Timothy." He said, hugging me. "For everything."
I smiled back at him.
"Ok boys, it's time to start."
I smiled at him and got up. "You'll be fine." I said before leaving the room. Jacob was right there, waiting for me.
"Hey babe." He said as he wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.
"Hey." He put his arm out in front of me and I hooked mine through his.
Alex chose Jacob to be his best man and Tony chose me to be his, considering we're their closest friends and all.
"Ok guys, the wedding shall be starting in one minute." Said Mrs. Sanchez as she approached us.
"Thank you." I responded with a kind smile.
Mrs. Sanchez was Jacob's and my wedding planner so we told Alex and Tony about her, and they decided to have her do their wedding. She is honestly amazing, and she's so sweet.
I turned around and smiled at Tony and gave him a thumbs up. He nervously smiled back at me.
The 'here comes the bride' song started, which meant the wedding was starting. "They should make a song called 'here comes the groom' for situations like this." I heard Jacob mumble to me.

I chuckled a little. "Or maybe 'here comes the significant other'." He chuckled back at what I said.
Then the doors opened and we started our way down the aisle, arm in arm.
We followed behind Elizabeth, Tony's little sister, as she threw flowers along the aisle.
She reached the alter and walked off to the side. I smiled at Alex as we walked by. I could tell he was nervous about all of this, especially since his parents were here and they don't show up for many events. He wanted everything to perfect, I could tell.
Jacob and I parted ways once we reached the alter and I walked off to the side where Tony will stand as Jacob walked over to stand behind Alex.
I turned around once I got in place. I looked over at Alex to see Jacob pat Alex's shoulder and whisper "it'll all be fine" in his ear. Alex smiled over his shoulder at Jacob.
He was about to say something back to Jacob when he looked down the aisle and stared. I looked down the aisle to see Tony now walking down it. I looked back up to Alex, his mouth was hanging ajar and his eyes were shimmering. You could see the clear admiration and love on his face.
I looked back down the aisle to see Tony blushing like crazy with everyone's eyes on him. I could tell that he wanted to walk a little faster but he stayed at the rate he was told to walk.
He eventually got to the alter and stood in front of me, him and Alex now facing each other. Alex looked Tony up and down and involuntarily whistled causing everyone to erupt into laughter.
I looked out into the audience and saw my mom being the creeper she is and taking pictures. I silently laughed as she snapped more pictures on her phone. I saw Kaitlyn smiling at Alex and Tony, you could tell she was genuinely happy for both of them. My sight then moved over to Chloe and Hunter as they leaned against each other and smiled up at Alex and Tony. I then looked over to where Louie was sitting next to Natasha.
Even though I tried to convince my mom to start dating again, she never did. Instead she got into reading. She's joined a reading club and everything. It mainly consist of older women, and she always tries to convince boyxboy books to them but they always decline... She reads them anyway.
Kaitlyn has been looking for someone to date. She's joined tons of online dating sites. She even started to try going out with women, but she just can't seem to find anyone. But I know she'll find the perfect person for her one day.

Chloe and Hunter haven't gotten married. They actually said that they don't even want to get married. They just want to be known as a couple, without all the boundaries and whatnot. They don't want to be held down but they still want to be with just each other.
And Louie and Natasha started dating in our first year of college. They apparently exchanged numbers at prom and started texting back and forth. They decided to go on their first date during Christmas time when they were both back in town from college. The rest is history.
Now Jesse and Carter...I'm not so sure of. All I know is that they both completely disappeared after graduation. I don't know if they ran off together or not. I honestly don't know what happened. But Jacob always assures me that they're both okay. And I trust him.
I guess I got so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn't even realize they said their vows and were kissing until the sound of everyone clapping reached my ears.
I looked over to see them smiling as they kissed. I started clapping along with everyone else. They broke apart with their smiles still on their faces.
.....
"Congratulations!" Kaitlyn said as she cane up and wrapped her arms around Tony.
He smiled at her. "Thanks Kaitlyn." She smiled back before moving over to hug Alex.
Chloe and Hunter then approached and hugged Alex and Tony both. I was about to go over and hug Kaitlyn when someone tapped my shoulder.
I turned around to see Louie and Natasha smiling at me. "Hey guys." I said as I hugged Natasha and then Louie.
"Hey! How're you?" Natasha asked.
"I'm doing pretty good, how about yourself."
"I'm doing well." She responded with a smile. "So how's Jacob doing?" She asked.
"Good. His new job is going great too!" I said to which her face lighted up.
"That's great! What exactly is it he does again?" She asked, with genuine curiosity.
"He's a high school counselor."
Yeah, it turns out that Jacob decided he wanted to be a counselor so he could help cope students through situations like the ones he went through in high school. He started going to school a year after graduation. It may have costed quite a bit of money, especially considering his grades weren't all that good during high school, but we managed to pull through with the money he gained from selling drugs and help from my mom and I.
"That's cool! It must be a little difficult though. I remember that I was a huge bitch, so I can't even imagine with the kids nowadays must be like." She said while shaking her head. "Well tell him that I said hi and good luck with those high schoolers." We laughed out of irony because it wasn't that long ago that we were in high school ourselves.
I bid her goodbye before turning around and searching for Jacob.
I scanned the room of dancing people in search of the man who I know as my husband.
"You looking for someone?" I heard him whisper in my ear from behind me. I turned around with a smile to see his infamous smirk resting on his face.
"Not anymore." I replied with a light laugh.
His smirk turned into a smile as he out his arms around my waist and I put mine around his neck. He kissed my lips. "I love you." He said as he pulled away.
"I love you too." I replied as I picked him back. "Anyway, I was looking for you because I have to leave soon."
He gave me a confused look. "Why?" He asked.
"Work." I responded with a sigh.
He nodded his head and hummed. "Writing stuff."
I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Well duh, that's sort of what authors do."
He smiled at me. "Are you writing the next book in the 'Cold Blood' series?" He teased.
I rolled my eyes, a smile still on my face. "Yeah, it's the final one though."
"That's what you said about the last one and then it became a New York Times Bestseller or whatever." He said jokingly, even though he was completely correct.
"This is the last one, I swear."
He gave me an unsure look. "You promise? Because with you making these books, we don't have a lot of time to spend together." He said with a frown.
"I promise...
...this is the end."
.....
END!
I tried to make that really cool but it wasn't working how I wanted to I sorta just gave up. Haha.
I hope you all really liked the employee though! And if you noticed, I hinted towards Jesse's & Carter's stuffs a little. ;)
So if you want to read more on them, check out the spin-off book "Possession"!
THANKS!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

War of Seasons
Dorothea Atlin is the young, apathetic leader of the neutral territory of Sirpo, a chilly land hovering above the continuously warring factions of Sacer and Ghuria, whose devastating magics have ravaged their people and lands time and time again. Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Her growing understanding of war and the two factions is guided by Iree Nobelis, the determined and enthralling commander of Sacer’s forces, Ariana Kingfisher, a steely swordswoman of mixed Ghurian and Sacerian descent, and Rhys Tamlin, a kind but haunted soldier who goes to challenge Dorothea’s self-imposed celibacy and join her on a mutual journey of healing from the tragic legacies of the Atlin family and wars between the nations. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost. A slow-burn story that takes time setting up the psychology and motivations of characters for explosive payoff later down the line.
