I opened my locker and started putting books from my backpack into my locker. I closed it when I was done and started down the hallway.

It's been a month since I've come back to school. And things are honestly going great. My head is starting to feel a lot better and my arm has completely healed. Alex and I have become pretty good friends, Tony and Jacob have become really close friends, and Jacob and I have been growing stronger everyday.

Even Tony and Alex have become close friends. It's cute, they're always together. It took a little while for me to convince Tony to talk to Alex but once he finally forgave him for what he did to me, they became best friends instantly.

Jacob hasn't really forgiven Alex yet, but he doesn't say or try anything to harm Alex whenever he's around.

Chloe and Hunter told everyone that they were dating about two weeks ago, well Hunter told us. I'm not really sure what's going on with Jesse and Carter, they haven't really said much about they're relationship but they seem to spend a lot of time together. And Louie is still being friend-zoned by Kaitlyn.

But that might be changing today considering Louie is going to be asking Kaitlyn to prom. He told me about it because he needs my help when he asks her. I'm supposed to be meeting him in room 120.

I walked down the stairs and to the first floor. I walked down the long hallway before finally getting to room 120. I pulled the door open and walked in to be surrounded by darkness. "What the..." I trailed off as I heard the door close behind me.

I heard the click of a button and then all of a sudden a fake candle was lit on the ground in front of me. A note card was lying in front of it. I bent down and picked up the note.

With the very dim light I had I read what the card said.

"Your eyes..." I read aloud.

Click.

Another fake candle came on a little bit ahead of the first one. Another note card was lying in front of it.

I went and picked it up.

"Your nose..."

Click.

Another fake candle with a note card in front, a little bit ahead.

"Your lips..."

Click.

Another one.

"Your hair..."

Click.

Another.

"Your brain..."

Click.

Another fake candle with another card.

"Your heart..."

Click.

"Your everything..."

Click.

I approached the next candle and picked up the card, reading what it had to say.

"That's all the the things I love about you..."

Click.

I looked up to see one last plastic candle, but this one wasn't on the ground. It was resting in the palm of Jacob's hand, a note card lying on his fingers.

He smiled at me as I approached him, me smiling back. I was trying to hold the tears back because of how sweet this was but it was hard when I looked up at his face and could see the love for me in his eyes.

I smiled and picked up the last card, as a single tear fell down my cheek. This one was folded up unlike all the rest. I unfolded it and read what it had to say.

"So would you please make me the happiest person alive..."

I looked at the card confused as to where the rest of the sentence was. I looked up at Jacob and he smiled at me. "And go to prom with me?" He asked.

I smiled at him, feeling saltiness from all the tears that have slipped down to my lips. I nodded my head as I spoke. "Yes, I'll go to prom with you!" I told him.

He smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him and connecting our lips. He licked my bottom lip, to which I granted him access. His tongue met mine and they started to wrestle with each other.

I heard the fake candle fall from his hand as his hands found their way down to my butt. He squeezed my cheeks as he pulled me closer to him.

His lips moved from lips to my jaw. He started to trail his way down to my neck when someone clears their throat, causing me to stiffen and stop my actions completely.

"Umm...this is like sweet and all, and we're trying to be respectful and let you guys have your moment but it just keeps going deeper and deeper and we're starting to feel a little awkward over here..." I heard Louie say right before the lights came on and I looked over to the corner of the room to see all our friends standing there in a little huddle.

I blushed a deep shade of red as I turned back around to Jacob who was trying not to laugh.

"Why didn't you tell me they were in here???" I asked, feeling super embarrassed.

"I forgot...?" He said, more like questioned.

I glared at him before breaking into a gigantic grin as I thought about what had just happened. And no, I'm not talking about my friends witnessing mine and Jacob's majority session, I'm referring to Jacob asking me to prom.

He smiled back as he quickly gave me another peck. I bit down on my lip, trying to stop myself from grinning like a maniac.

He walked over to the others and held his hand out towards Tony, suddenly Tony pulled s bouquet of roses out of nowhere and laid them in Jacob's hand.

My eyes widened as he walked back to me and held the bouquet out to me. I smiled as I took the flowers from him.

He gave me one more kiss before Kaitlyn came over and gave me a giant hug, Chloe hugging me next.

"OMG!!! Congratulations baby!! I'm so happy for you!!!" Kaitlyn practically screamed, Chloe nodding along with her.

I looked over at Jacob to see him high-giving everyone else. I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned around to see Carter. "Congratulations." He said to me with a smile before hugging me.

"Thanks." I said, this was the perfect opportunity to ask him about him and Jesse. "Hey, so what's going on between you and Jesse? Are you guys like...dating?" I asked him.

He blushed as he looked over at Jesse, who was currently patting Jacob on the back. Suddenly Jesse looked over at him and smiled. Carter's eyes widened as he looked back to me. "It's complicated..." He trailed off.

I nodded my head in response.

"So..." I heard Kaitlyn say to me. I turned towards her to see her smiling. "How did Jacob trick you into coming down here without giving away that he was asking you to prom?" She asked.

"Well Louie told me that he needed help asking you to prom, so I came down to help him only to find out that I was the one being asked." I told her, to which she got a confused look on her face.

"Why would Louie be asking me out to prom...?" She asked just as the others came in hearing distance of us.

"Oh shit." I heard Louie say. We all looked over at him, including Kaitlyn. "Okay, so I guess this is happening now..." He said as he stepped forward to Kaitlyn.

He was just about to speak when I interrupted him. "Wait!" I said and pulled one of the roses out kg my bouquet, handing it over to him. I'm the one who accidentally revealed that he's asking her to prom,I should at least help him a little.

He nodded his head at me in thanks. He turned back to Kaitlyn. "Kaitlyn..." He said. "You are the prettiest, kindest, most outgoing person I've ever met. You've been my friend ever since we were five. You've always been there for me, my right-hand man - well woman - and I don't ever want to lose you." She smiled at him as he paused.

"I had a lot more planned when I envisioned this in my head, but I guess this is how it's going to happen." He said as he got down on one knee. "Kaitty-cat, will you please go to prom with me?"

She smiled at him and pulled the rose from his hand. "Is George Washington the old guy on the one dollar bill?" She asked, smiling.

He gave her a confused look. "Um, yeah..." He trailed off before realization flashed across his face. "Oh! Yes!" He stood up and pulled her into a hug.

They both laughed as we started applauding and cheering. They pulled apart. "You're a great friend." She said to him, not even realizing what she had just done.

His face fell but his smile went right back on his face as he responded. "Thanks. You too." She smiled and kissed him on the cheek before turning around and chatting to Chloe and Carter.

"I'm sorry, Louie." I said to him right before Tony laid a hand on his shoulder.

"That's harsh dude, being friend-zoned. I know how that feels, sorry man." He said to Louie.

Louie just shrugged and stared at Kaitlyn. "I've realized something lately." He said. "Even though she doesn't like me back like I like her, I'm thankful to have her in my life. I always will be. She may not be in love with me, like I am with her..."

He paused and waved at her as she waved at him.

"But I'll always love her."
