from the bathroom waking me out of my sleep. I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and sat up. It took me a minute to realize I was still in Domonique's room. After last night, I thought I went back to mine I guess not. Looking around for the clock I seen it was almost time for school, but of course I wasn't going. The headache I was having wasn't worth it.
"You're awake." She spoke, stepping out of the bathroom with a peach towel wrapped around her body.
Sitting myself up, I looked at her with my eyes low as hell. "I get to wake up to this every morning"
"No. But, after last night maybe you can."
"WordGet over here then and come get some more."
She laughed, adjusting the towel around her tighter. "Isaiah we have school..."
Throwing the covers from my body, I stood to my feet. Ignoring what she was saying, I walked towards her and pulled her close. It wasn't long before my lips came in contact with her neck. Those same moans from last night escaped from her lips, only softer this time. From her neck I moved to her lips and her arms wrapped around my neck. My hands slipped down to her legs as I lifted her up, wrapping them around my waist.
Without breaking the kiss I carried her back towards the bed, laying her down. Right when I started to remove her towel, my mother busted in the room. We quickly split from one another and she sat herself up, gripping the towel tightly again. This lady don't ever know how to knockAin't that what the door for anyways
"Isaiah, downstairs now" She sternly said. "Dominique finished getting dressed and get going"
I could tell from the look on my mama face she was disappointed. I didn't even bother on saying anything, just proceeded to walk downstairs as I was told. Taking a seat on the couch I sat there wondering what she was going to say. There's endless possibilities. I needed to think of some kind of explanation and fast.
My mother came walking downstairs with a more calmer look on her face. "Isaiah. Listen to me and hear me clearly, that girl has been through hell and back. I brought her here so she could get some of that stress off of her. What I don't need you doing is being all in her room treating her like one of these hoes out here. For years I've watched you dog out multiple women and have them leaving this house in tears. You aren't going to do that with her. Realize she's almost like therefore, as a young man you treat her with the upmost respect. Do you understand me, Isaiah"
It wasn't often that I'd hear these talks come from her. Usually, she'd let me do whatever and didn't really say much about it. This was different she was making me sound just like my father. And I hated every bit of it. He never did anything besides dog women and I never realized I was doing the same thing. If I wanted to be with Domonique I was going to have to clean up my act first.
But, I see that happening right now.
"I understand." I simply said. "You won't catch anything like that happening again, I promise."
She nodded. "Alright. I won't be having this talk with you ever again. Since you aren't going to school you can do her the favor of taking her."

"Don't she got her own car thoughI ain't gon' be no dam—"
"ISAIAHDidn't I just say you would treat her with the upmost respectThat doesn't include you talking like you lost your everlasting mind." She was now yelling and I began to get irritated by the moment.
"My fault." I shrugged, standing up from the sofa and grabbing my keys from the table. "Tell her I'm outside waiting."
My mother meets one younger female and everything has to change. She didn't do this when Ariana came into our lives. But since Domonique has supposedly been through so much, shit has to changeFuck that. Everything we had just talked about had just flown out of the window as I sat in my truck, glancing out of the window from time to time. I always made promises to her that I wasn't going to keep, this one was no different.
"IZZY"
I heard my name being called by a familiar voice. A voice I hadn't heard in a while. I looked in the direction of the voice and was shocked who it was. There stood the short, brownskin female with her hair down to her back. She had gotten thicker from the last time we seen each other.
was the first female I found myself getting serious with. She was my everything and more nothing could come in between us. The only reason we broke up was because, she was moving and I I wasn't going to be faithful in a long distance relationship. If she wouldn't have moved I'm sure we still would've been together. My entire phase wouldn't have happened.
Stepping out of the truck, I made my way towards her and pulled her into a hug. "How you beenWhat you doin' around here"
A wide smile came across her face, reviling that she had gotten her braces off. "We just moved back in town yesterday. It was only right to come say hello. I've been good though, missed you so much. It looks like you might've gotten finer than before."
"Aw shit. We gon' have to start hangin' our like old times again then. MeNah, you the one that's lookin' fine. Walkin' out the house lookin' like a glass of chocolate milk."

I know I almost took to get dressed but, I had to take some care of somethings. After we got caught I noticed the throbbing sensation that came from in between my legs. He obviously started something that had no plans on getting fixed in that moment. Anyways, I grabbed my bag and remembered Monroe saying Isaiah was dropping me at school. I walked downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, I didn't feel the need to search through the fridge yet. Plus I knew he was going to be pissed at me for taking a long time anyways.
"I'm rea—" I stopped in my tracks as I opened the front door, seeing him and another female talking. They were leaning on his truck and had nothing but smiles. He barely smiles when we talk. I thought to myself. I don't know why but something was coming over me.
I ignored the feeling and proceeded to walk down the beat up steps. Approaching the truck I looked at them with a blank stare. "I'm ready to go."
"Hol' up. Lemme finish wit her first then, we gon' bounce." He spoke without even looking at me.
Rolling my eyes I got into the passenger side of the truck and pulled out my phone. The window was winded down a little so, I could hear their conversation.

"Who's she" The female questioned, raising her eyebrow.
He shrugged. "We go to school together. My mama letting her stay wit' us for a while, 'till her mama get back on her feet."
"You fucked her" Again, the female bluntly asked. She was slightly starting to annoy me little by little.
"Nah, . I ain't do none of that, yo—"
I tuned out the rest of their conversation not wanting to hear anymore. He called her baby so that must be his girl or something. I was just there to keep him company for whatever reason she wasn't around. It wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. I wanted to get out of both of their sight at the moment, I leaned over to the drivers seat and honked the horn.
They both jumped at the sound, almost as if they had a mini heart attack. "Come the fuck on" I yelled out the window.
Isaiah looked at me and was pissed. But, I didn't care at all. He said his goodbyes to her and finally got his ass in the truck. We pulled off a good distance from the neighborhood and that's where everything went sour.
"Do that shit again and we'll have some fucking problems." He spoke under his breath, but loud enough so I could hear.
"I'ma do whatever the fuck I wantWho the fuck you think you are talking to me like that"
"I'll talk to you anyway I want to. You ain't nobody special, cut that shit the fuck out Domonique."
Turning towards him, I looked him directly in his face as he stayed facing the road. "Ain't nobody specialYou wasn't saying that shit last night when you ate this ain't nobody special pussy, bitch"
We had arrived a couple of blocks from school when he stopped and pulled over. Before I could react quick enough his hand came in contact with my cheek. It stung — has ever laid hands on me. Well, my father did once upon a time but it all stopped.
"YoI said watch who the fuck you talking to with that fucked up tone. I ain't one of these bum ass niggas that you gon' walk over. And, I damn sure ain't no bitch, if anything the bitch. Always walking around with your head stuck so far up your ass."
The tears poured out of my eyelids as I cupped my cheek. I couldn't control it, I sobbed loudly looking out the window. I didn't even hear what he was saying nor did I care. It came from a place of hurt and the unloved feeling. We were becoming close to each other and then this happens. I felt him reaching over to attempt at calming me down. If didn't work.
"I'm sorry. I ain't mean to."
I sat there without saying a word. At this point, I didn't even want to go to school anymore. But I didn't want to see his face no longer, so I did the unthinkable. When he finally left me alone I pulled my phone out of my bag and texted Amir.
( TWO RECIPIENTS )
you home?
yea.. y?
im coming over..
( READ 10:01AM.)
This was something I be doing but, I need sometime to get my head together. When we pulled up to the school, I didn't say anything to him again.
"Could you get my work while you hereI'll be back to pick you up if I have nothing going on."
I nodded, not making eye contact. I got out of his truck and proceeded on "walking" towards the front. I glanced back and seen that he had pulled off already. Taking a detour from the front doors, I excited campus and walked up to Amir's home. He lived in the suburban neighborhood, his parents had money and gave him everything he ever wanted. The walk wasn't that long, just the great amount.
♡ ♡ ♡
I was laying in Amir's bed while he was focused on playing the game. We hadn't said much to each other and we were fine with that. He was minding his business and I was doing the same.
"YoYou tryin' go smoke" He asked, tapping my leg gently.
"Yeah, where we going" I sat up, throwing my legs across the edge.
He paused the game, tossing the black controller onto the bed. "Bathroom."
"Aight." I nodded, standing up and walked into the bathroom. I sat on the sink with my legs crossed.
Eventually he made his way into the bathroom also, closing the door behind him. He threw down a towel and placed it at the bottom of the door.
"What time is it" I blurted. "Izz—"
He shrugged. "Like fo. Don't mention his name in this house."
School let out two hours ago, I knew Isaiah was wondering where I was. Amir was just going to have to take me home, I wasn't going to be high walking home.
"You mind dropping me off at home when we done"
"Sure." He reached into the cabinet pulling out a perfectly rolled blunt. Along with that a lighter came out of his pocket. "Ready"
I nodded and took the blunt from him, placing it in between my lips. He lit it, I inhaled deeply for as long as I could before removing it from my mouth and exhaling the smoke out. I handed it back to him as he moved closer towards me, placing his free hand on my thigh. After smoking we'd always go and have high sex but, that wasn't happening today.

4:15pM.
"Aight, lets get you home."
To say I was high as a kite was an understatement. I was high as the sky, probably reaching heaven at this point. I took the black shades from my bag and placed them onto my face. Isaiah wasn't going to see my eyes. We made our way out to his car and I got in. Of course, I told him not to drop me off right in front of Isaiah's house but, instead some blocks down.
Thankfully, that's exactly what he did. I stepped out of the car and said my goodbyes. I tried my best to walk like I had some brain cells left. Once I reached the door I pulled out the keys Monroe had given me earlier and unlocked the door. I walked in and closed the door behind me. Isaiah was sitting there on the couch ready to tear my head off.
"Where the fuck did you go"
And, of course my dumb ass started laughing. Fuck.
"You high too" He stood up coming towards me, snatching the glasses from my face. "What the hell is wrong with you"
I smiled dumbly. "Get outta my faceeeee. I'm going to bed." I dragged, giggling a little.
"Nah, bro. We gon' wait right here until you come up with an explanation."
"Chilllllll." I laughed. "I was with Amir — oops." I placed my hand over my mouth, realizing what I had just said.
He nodded. "Bet."
im back. i didn't forget about this book, trust!
