Jungkook's Family
Taehyung couldn't help but to grip and lightly crumple the paper in his hands.
It was too much, he can't help but to cry in sorrow.
He misses Jungkook. But he knew that it wasn't that easy to bring back their relationship to what it was before. Yes, Jungkook wished for them to be friends, but Taehyung himself doesn't know if he can agree with his request because he didn't want to complicate things.
Though seeing the pair of glasses in his hands, he remembered the first day when him and Jungkook met, their first hugs, kisses and what not.
"Don't confuse your feelings just because of a letter." he reminded himself softly, but a certain memory played in his mind in a split second.
flashback.
"So Newton's law is about motion and— hey!"
Taehyung lightly grunted as he shivered in his seat. Not because of the cold tiled floor of the janitor's closet, but because of a certain someone interrupting his studies by kissing the back of his neck.
"And there are three laws." the person he was with, Jungkook, wrapped his arms around the older one's torso and continued giving butterfly kisses.
"Jungkook, I'm studying."
"You always pout whenever I don't notice you when I try to study. Why are you so strict when I do the same?"
"I don't kiss your neck. I'm sensitive there so please—!" Taehyung shrugged his shoulders high and slapped the younger one's thigh. "Seriously one more time and I'll bite you. Stop it!"
After hearing his shout, Jungkook acted like he was offended and walked away from his initial position to sulk in a corner.
The older one noticed this and released a long sigh. "Look kookie, I didn't mean to shout at you."
Jungkook lowered down his head and looked at the floor, inwardly smiling at the fact Taehyung looked panicked about what to do next.

"H-How can I make up to you?" the older one asked in worry.
In an instant, as if nothing happened, Jungkook stood up from the corner and once again gave the other a back hug.
"I was waiting for you to ask."
"Just hugs okay? No kisses."
"For now?"
"Hmm, for now."
Taehyung spent the rest of his free time reviewing his notes as Jungkook pressed his head against his back while singing and humming random songs from time to time.
"Okay so I'm at the last part and I'm having difficulties." Taehyung confessed as he raised his book up for Jungkook to see. "Give me a clue to remember the third rule."
"Action reaction?" the younger leaned his chin on the other's back as he stared intently at the paper. "Oh, that. Let me give a scenario."
After Taehyung's 'go' signal, he cleared his throat and began speaking a certain example he knew from the textbooks he was reading.
"Remember our first kiss? When we accidentally ended up in a weird position, I looked straight into your eyes and then suddenly you pressed your lips against mine."
"I-I w-what—?!"
Taehyung removed the younger one's arms from his body and pointed his finger out with a crimson face.
"You kissed me. I only responded to your kiss."
"Really? How did you wrap your arms around my neck again? Who pulled me closer to—"
"F-Fine!" Taehyung embarrassed covered his face with his palms, making the other chuckle in delight.
Jungkook leaned his face against Taehyung's and whispered lowly to his ear.
"You're really cute when your face is all red." he complimented.
"S-Shut up, baby boy."
"Call me whatever you want, Tae."
"Wow, I think I just found someone who had the liking of being called a 'baby boy'." Taehyung teased, trying to change to topic about him.

"I feel loved, besides..." Jungkook flashed off a smile and leaned into the older one's shoulders. "You're my family."
end of flashback.
Before Taehyung could even start reminiscing about another memory, the door of the janitor's closet went wide which made the bright light from the outside go in.
It was Jimin who stood there and gave him a worried look.
"Tae, we've been worried." he sighed. "It's been half an hour since you volunteered to get the mop here, I thought something bad happened to you."
He squinted to see the Taehyung was wiping his eyes while hiding the letter he was reading a while ago in his back pocket.
"A-Are you crying? I didn't pressure you, right?"
Taehyung shook his head and gestured for the both of them to go outside. "I'm fine Jiminie, should I still bring the mop with us?"
"No need. The cafeteria ladies gave us the cleaning materials we needed." Jimin gave an eye smile and got some backpacks he placed away beside the door. It was his and Taehyung's school bags.
"Did you already pass your requirements?" he asked the other boy who nodded in response. "Good, let's go back to the dorm and prepare."
Taehyung snapped out of his random thoughts and began to ponder. "Prepare for what?"
"Well..." Jimin tilted his head from side to side before giving an answer. "My mom wanted her and I to go shopping for gifts this new year... but I told her that I cannot attend because I'll be taking you to a dinner date at a restaurant."
"W-Why?" Taehyung questioned.
"Of course. Happy Birthday, Tae."
-
The two went back to the dorm and into their dorm rooms after saying goodbye to Jin and thanking the people who helped and celebrated Taehyung's birthday with him.
Jimin was in the bathroom brushing his teeth while Taehyung was waiting in his bed with a towel draped over his shoulder, waiting for Jimin to finish.
"You know..." Jimin started a conversation after gargling some mouthwash. "Using my sources, I researched about that guy who punched me and had an argument with you on the courtyard."
"Jungkook?" Taehyung asked. How he missed saying that name.
"Yeah. I don't and won't hold any grudges against him. We just need to understand his actions and that he didn't grow up in a proper household." Jimin explained, which left the other rather confused.
'I know his parents went abroad when he was eight, but why would that affect how he behaves?' he thought.
Jimin grabbed a hair brush and gelled down his hair before he continued explaining.
"He's an orphan. His parents abandoned him when he was eight. They left him on an market alley and never returned."
"W-What?" in reflex, Taehyung stood up from his seat to look at Jimin who was still combing his hair in front of the bathroom mirror. "H-How is that possible? Why would they abandon him?"
"I don't know why." Jimin looked away from the mirror to face Taehyung. "But what I know is that the government pays for his schooling and he started working at a young age. Now just months ago when he transferred to this school, he is now paying for his own expenses."
As Taehyung listened to what Jimin knew, there was one statement that kept replaying over and over in his head.
"You're my family."
probably going to be the last chapter and i'm not joking this time :)
but wait. it is the last chapter of the first half. (does this make sense? lmao)
on the next update i'm going to ask if you're satisfied with the ending or should i continue with the second half.
because there are still questions that are left unanswered. and if you think this first half was already packed with drama... who knows, maybe we will shed more tears? :')
thanks for reading!

8 336Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
8 188I was Reborn as the Villainess but I will become a Great Sage
Nova Allandis, formerly known as Suna Lee, remembers her previous life and realizes her current life is as the villainess in a fantasy novel she once read. However, as Suna, she was the laziest person with no motivation, possibly attributed to the fact that she didn't go into a major that was her strongest suit. Now that she has a high affinity towards magic and wishes to go into it, will she be able to change her lazy self for the better, or will she go back to being lazy like the villainess in the novel? Can she become a Great Sage and live life happily this time? Note: This is not a "revenge of the villainess" novel, but rather a "rise to fame" novel. A/N: This is just an experimental novel and criticisms are much appreciated, but I'm extremely defensive of my own work and characters. If you are here to put down a novel, please remember, first of all, you are not paying anything to read this, and second of all, authors are humans too.
