《Coach Y/LN (Meagan/You) ✔️》Chapter 10

"Sky can you come down here and help set the table?" I yell up the stairs and I hear a faint reply.
I turn around and head back into the kitchen and a smile spreads across my lips at the sight.
"Mommy's babies ready to eat some turkey?" I watch Meagan say to our twins sitting in their high chairs.
The two babies giggle and smile at the sight of their mother and my heart swells in my chest. Meagan and I got blessed with a son and a daughter. My son looks just like me and our daughter is a perfect mix between the two of us.
"My beautiful wife and my two youngest babies." I say making my appearance known. Meagan turns to look at me with the biggest smile. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her into me. I place a kiss on her forehead before attaching my lips to hers in a sweet kiss.
"Happy thanksgiving baby." She whispers after pulling away. She gives me a few more rocks and the sounds of babbling along with giggles pull us apart.
"Happy thanksgiving Mommy." I whisper into her ear causing her to groan quietly.
She gives me a look and I know I'm going to be in for it later. But the squeals of our youngest children pull our attention towards them.
"Come here big guy." I say to my son as I pick him up out of his high chair. His hands clutch onto my shirt. I kiss the side of his head and my daughter begins to whine too. Meagan picks her up and kisses her head. I take her in my free arm and she also clutches onto my shirt. I kiss my daughters head and can't believe how grown my youngest two have gotten.
"The table set Ma." Skylar says coming into the kitchen. Her little brother and sister squeal at the sight of her and she smiles big at them. She walks towards me and kisses their cheeks along with tickling them in the process.

The doorbell rings signaling our guests have arrived. Skylar and I make our way towards the door and she opens it revealing my mother.
My mother pulls her oldest grand baby into a hug and kisses her cheeks.
"Skylar, my grand baby you keep growing. And your so beautiful sweetheart." My mother says making Skylar hug her once again.
Skylar then pulls away and goes to help her mother in the kitchen. My mother then notices her youngest grand babies in my arms and goes crazy at the sight of them. She kisses their cheeks and the two babble nonsense.
My mother ends up taking Derek from my arms. I move Sierra in my arms and she snuggles into my neck. Just as I'm about to walk away from the door, the doorbell rings once again. I open the door and smile at the sight of Meagan's little sister. She greets me with a hug and kisses her nieces cheek. She also manages to take a baby from my arms and walks away.
When I close the door I finally make my way into the dinning room where everyone is seated. I can't help but feel so content and happy in this moment. My whole family is here with me today. I would have never thought I'd ever get a family. I thought my life was set in stone, I'd be single and have no kids.
But my life changed for the best the night I coached my girls in the state championship. I saw my daughter for the first time and seen her mother for the first time in years.
"Ma." Skylar says snapping me out of whatever trance I was in.
"It's time to eat." She says and I nod my head taking my seat at the end of the table. My mother sits on one side and Skylar sits on the other. Meagan sits directly across from me and she's looking at me the same way she did all those years ago. So much love, passion, adoration, and respect in her eyes.

My god I got so lucky meeting her at such a young age. I knew I could never find another love like I share with Meagan. She's my soulmate, best friend, and wife. My heart has always belonged to her.
"I would first like to thank you for joining us tonight." I say looking at my mother and Meagan's sister Shontelle.
"I have many things to be thankful for this year. My wife, my daughters, my son, my mother, my sister in-law. My team, my friends and so much more." I smile looking at everyone in the room.
"Sky, why don't you lead us in prayer." I say my oldest who nods her ear. She bows her head and I follow as she begins to lead our family in prayer.
When it's all done we raise our heads and begin to pass food around the table. Meagan prepares plates for our youngest and I move to help her. Once we had their plates made the two dug into their food.
I return to my seat and begin making my own plate. I eat with my family and share laughs along with the few occasional stories. Once we finish I gather the plates and take them into the kitchen while the other continue to enjoy one another's company.
I continue to clean up the mess and am greeted by my wife in the kitchen. She wraps her arms around my waist from behind and kisses just below my ear causing me to shiver.
"Thank you for cleaning up." Meagan whispers and I nod my head with a hum.
I wrap an arm around her and pull her into me. I place a kiss I the side of her head and resume my actions of cleaning up the plates.
"I can't believe how far we've come." I whisper as I finish drying the last dish. I set it aside and turn to face my wife. She walks in between my legs and leans her body into mine. Her hands rest softly on my chest and I gaze down into her eyes.
"This is everything I ever hoped for. I don't think I can ever stop saying thank you. For giving me these beautiful children, for being my wife and loving me unconditionally." Meagan says and I feel my heart swell at her words.
I brush a strand of hair out of her face and pin it behind her head. I lean down slowly and softly kiss her lips before brushing my nose against hers.
"If anyone should be thanking someone it's me. You've given me the life I've always dreamed of. You brought hope and happiness back into my life."
Our moment is cut short by Skylar entering the room. She sticks her tongue out at the sight of her mother in my arms and I can't help but chuckle.
"Shouldn't you be used to this by now?" I question making her shake her head.
"It's still gross." She says with a small laugh.
"But I have a legitimate question." Skylar says making her mother turn in my arms and we both stare at our oldest daughter.
"How about a game of one on one?" She says with a smirk as she pulls out a basketball from behind her back. I can't help but smile back at her and look down at my wife to see her smiling just as big.
"What do I get this time if I win?" I ask and my daughter chuckles.
"I'll do the dishes for a month if you win." She says and I remove myself from Meagan and clap my hands.
"Your on!"
