《Coach Y/LN (Meagan/You) ✔️》Chapter 5

"You can't honestly be choosing her over your family Meagan." He scoffs making me clench my jaw at his words.
"I was the one who supported Skylar and you. I was the one who put you through college. I was the one who bought you the house your living in now." He says and I feel Meagan shrink back at his words.
That's it. I'm done with his old crusty ass.
"And who's fault is it? Really?" I say picking Meagan up off my lap. She stands in between her father and I once again. Her hands are placed on my chest as I stand face to face with this so called man.
"It isn't mine." He says and I let out a sadistic laugh.
"Bullshit. You are the main reason we are in this situation. If it weren't for you, Skylar would have grown up with both of her parents. They would have had me to rely on, not you. I would have taken care of them and I still will." I say as I try to keep myself from lunging at the man.
Meagan's father just looks at me with a serious face. Until he starts laughing. The old man throws his head back as tears leave his eyes.
"You take care of them?" He says again through a chuckle and my jaw is clenched once again.
"You barely had a pot to piss in. Hell even your old man up and left your no good ass." He says and I feel myself start to fall back at his words.
At this point everything is a blur to me. All I can think about is the words he said. I just stare blankly across the room while I hear arguing but it's all muffled words to me.

Skylar somehow managed to make her way over to me and is now standing in my view. Her eyes are wide with worry as she tries to pull me out of whatever trance I'm in.
Meagan I think is off to the side still fighting with her father.
Somehow Skylar manages to grab my attention and I notice the distraught state she is in.
"Can we leave?" She asks me and I nod my head.
She turns towards her mother and grandfather and walks in between them and up her stairs. They still haven't noticed Skylar until she comes back down and walks in between them with her bags.
"And where do you think your going?" Meagan's father says as Skylar approaches me and wraps her arm around my waist.
"I'm not staying here with you. So you can have your house, Mom and I will just stay with Y/N." Skylar says making the old man shocked by her statement.
I see Meagan debating in her head, but when she connects her eyes with my own all the doubt is gone.
"You can stay in your house, we're leaving." Meagan says walking away from her father and up the stairs.
"If you two leave, don't bother coming back." He says and I'm shocked. He'd really do this to his own daughter and granddaughter just because they want to be with me. I feel Skylar tense up in my arms and I honestly feel bad.
I see Meagan stop walking up the stairs. She turns to look her father in the eyes before meeting our daughters awaiting gaze.
She looks at me and no words need to be spoken. She already knows what I'm thinking. Meagan looks at her dad and lets out a deep sigh.
"Fine. We will get our stuff out of here today. I hope your happy with yourself." She then starts back up the stairs and stops turning to look back at him.

"Once we leave here, don't ever try to talk or see us again. No calls, no texts, no surprise visits, and no showing up to anything of Skylars. We are finished with you for good." Meagan says before heading back upstairs.
The old man is left stunned and the woman with him tries to say something but he cuts her off. He turns to look at me with the coldest glare.
"Come on Sky, let's put your things in the car." I say motioning for her to head outside.
I follow my daughter out their front door and to her mother's car. We put her bags in the trunk and she turns to look at me.
"Are you okay with this?" She asks and I place my hands on her shoulders. I give her a genuine smile which catches her off guard.
"Of course, it just means I get to spend more time with the both of you. It may be sooner than I thought, but life is always throwing different curveballs. It's what makes life worth living." I say and Skylar smiles at my words. She wraps her arms around my midsection and pulls me into a hug.
We pull apart when Meagan comes out the front door with a few of her bags.
"Go grab some more of your things. We can load up my SUV too." I say and she nods her head leaving her mother and I alone.
Meagan gives me a weak smile as I take a few bags from her and place them inside her car. When I turn around Meagan wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me into a hug.
She clings to me tightly and I wrap my arms around her, giving her the comfort she needs in this moment. As I hold her in my arms I can only think about what is to come of our relationship.
It seems that Meagan and I always do everything backwards. But at this point what other options do they have. This just gives me the opportunity to spend more time with them and I'll get to see them everyday.
"I got you guys babe. I got you." I whisper into her hair as I kiss her head.
