It was a saturday evening,and the mall was full of people,I swam through the crowds searching for my friends,something caught my attention I looked to the right to look at my reflection staring at me.

All I could see was a dull pale face staring back,no signs of joy or happiness or excitement on my face,those all emotions vanished when Rudr dissappeared from my life.He took my heart as well as my soul with me the day he left me.

A commotion bought me out of my thoughts,I turned my head to find a woman arguing with a man,they seemed to be a cute couple...The woman looked a lot like my old friend tara.

"You always do this aadi,How can you forget the shopping list in your car,Only if you have concentrated on the list rather than kissing me",she shouted.

"Tara,my angel calm down,I will go and get it",That guy said.

"Then why the hell are you still here?go and get it",the girl said.

"But angel how can I leave you alone in this condition?I cant even take you with me,because you will get tired angel,I wish I can leave you in some one's care and go until I go and come",He said pouting not wanting to leave her.

Then only I noticed,her tummy was really big,she seemed to be approximately six months pregnant.I dont know what came upon me ,But my mind dragged my feet to them.

"I will take care of your wife,you can go and get it" I offered him.That guy gave me a suspicious look,but the minute the girl turned her face to me,Oh God! It is indeed my old friend tara.

"Anika..is it you??Aadi she is my old friend anika,Oh god,it had been so long we met",tara said her husband excitedly.After a 5 minutes chat tara's husband aadi,left tara with me,only after giving me a lot of instructions about his wife,Tara is so lucky to have him.

Now me and tara are sitting in the cafeteria.

"Your husband loves you a lot",I said her smiling,genuinely happy for her.

"Yes he loves me and this monkey a lot",tara said smiling.

"monkey?",i exclaimed.

"Yaa thats what I nick named him",she said pointing towars her belly.Just as we were about to talk,tara got a call from aadi asking wetther she was fine or not.

"Your hero seems to be soooo romantic,itseems like he cant even stay away from you for 3 minutes",I said tapping my watch and teasing her.

all the time she spoke about aadi her face was glowing,her eyes sparkled with excitement and happiness.

By the time she stopped her rant,aadi came and took her,saying they were going for baby shopping,we exchanged our numbers and details.I sat there staring at the direction aadi and tara went,They love each other a lot,It was a kind of love every one wishes to have in their life.

It was night I sat on my balcony staring at the night sky,Dont know why,but seeing tara's and aadi's love for each other made me reminded of my past which I was trying to forget.Rudr's words are still ringing in my ears.

His words from the past kept ringing in my ears,"NO!Rudr I did not betray you..I did not!!",I shouted to no one in paticular. Tears streaming down my face,remembering his hurtful words and disgust in his eyes towards me,It had been two years but it still feels like yesterday.

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.

When something wonderful happens, you can't wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.

You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.

RUDR WAS ALL THAT FOR ME,HE WAS MY WORLD AND I WAS HIS.....UNTIL I MESSED IT UP.

(2 YEARS BACK)

"The only mistake I made was to love you",He walked away from me.

"Rudr,please dont leave me,let me explain,RUDR!!",I ran behind him,but after a while my legs gave up and I fell on the road sobbing.

"Anika...please dont cry",some one said me soflty and laid the hand soothingly on my shoulder.

"Sahil..He left me sahil",I sobbed. "Anika,Loving him always got you only hurt..Why dont you leave him and be with me,I will treat you rightly,The way you deserve to be treated,like a princess",Sahil said.

"Sahil I get hurt because True love will be painful. ...NO!True love should be painful!"

"He is always the wrong one anika,he is imperfect,why dont you leave him?..He is not good enough for you,Marry me,I will keep you happy".

"Do you leave your mom and dad because they are annoying or ugly or just because they are not good enough...NO instead we love them unconditionally,Its the same with my Rudr,I cant leave him".

"But it's time you take the decision anika".

"I know sahil",I replied looking at the engagement ring on my hand which demonstrates my engagement with SAHIL and with other hand I clutched the pendant chain in my neck which was given by the love of my life RUDR..

At some point of life we have to realise that some people can stay in your heart but not in your life..Its time to decide.....IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT SOMEONE!
